This is such a gem. Surprisingly spacious, clean bathroom with great water pressure for hot showers, clean kitchen with everything you need. Our favourite part was sitting out on the deck- the view is incredible & so peaceful. Location is also very convenient super close to ferry & main shops & we loved walking up to the cafe for our morning coffees. Great value for money.

We loved our 3 night stay at Frenchman’s Folly. The cottage is lovely and cosy with everything we needed. It’s clearly owner managed and was perfectly clean. Linda was so kind to leave the lights on for our late arrival, which was very helpful. Our girls loved the tree in the front yard and the spacious grassy, fenced backyard. We’ll book again.

Lovely peaceful spot right on the water. We loved being able to tie our boat up to the pontoon and go sailing whenever the wind picked up. Bedrooms were comfortable and the square dining table a great fit for the 8 of us. Lots of fun board games to play and puzzles to do too. All round a great place for a family holiday!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house on the water was even better than we expected - honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. The views were stunning, especially the sunsets, which were truly out of this world. The home was spotless, beautifully set up and had everything we needed. It was especially great for families with young kids - lots of thoughtful amenities that made our stay so much easier. Highly recommend!

Thanks for a wonderful time. We 2 young kids it was perfect for playing inside and out. The crabbing & yabbie beach was 20m away. And that was after one hour playing in the bath. (So few places have them) We were able to cook a full breki and spread out. It had everything we needed- no scrimping. René provided everything - coffee, bread, milk, butter , jams, porridge etc!! There were soaps, shampoos, washing powder, cleaning stuff . If it wasn’t there you could just ask. Rene’s house in front was also part of his Airbnb and had lots of individual rooms to rent with a huge palatial bright living room /kitchen with bay view. It was a great place to relax if you like a chat. Thanks René

What a beautiful place for a great price, super close to the beach and loved how upstairs and downstairs was split giving everyone there space

The place was very close to a stunning view, and the bed had plenty of cushions, so I was able to sleep very well. There were thick blankets, toothpaste, soap, a kettle, and a microwave, but no toothbrush, hair dryer, or tableware. Check-in was easy and flexible without needing to coordinate a specific time. I think I’ll stay here again next time.

Great place, in a great location with an incredible view of Moreton Bay. Sharon was amazing to share with and very friendly and informative of the area and things to do in the area. I would stay again.

Beautiful view of the ocean and beach. We were two couples and there was plenty of room. Quite pricey, but an enjoyable stay and the pool was great for a cooling off dip. Very clean and modern. Lovely cool wind off the ocean at night. The bedrooms are upstairs, so don’t book if stairs are an issue.

a great spot to explore Minjerribah. walkable to Point Lookout, but also right next to a bus stop (50c fairs). direct onto the beach, and a pool.

Such a great location. Easy walk to beech & shops . Once you step in to Chris and Garth’s property, you feel like you are already on holiday . Everything is well thought of (down to my own box organiser for my toiletries !) Facility wise everything you need is here; washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ etc & lovely little pool. Would love to return some day Juliet & James

Shannon is a fantastic host - our most favourite part was how close her place is to the beach - you can see and hear the water with its own beach access

Absolutely fantastic views and fishing.. older place but comfortable enough. A very relaxing stay... almost an oasis. Awesome private jetty with plenty of fish and beautiful blue water. Relax under the palms or play ping pong while fishing. Dave is very responsive and locals very friendly. Hopefully we can stay again 😊

Very comfy bed , good location, Kitchen could be upgraded , everything else was good.

Place was beautiful. Great place for catch-up with family.

We had a terrific time at this home. We loved the view and the constant sound of the ocean. Spent a lot of time watching the kangaroos in the yard! Very comfortable beds. Kitchen had everything one could want to cook family meals. We enjoyed being able to walk into town and to the beach. It was rainy during our stay but we still loved being there and hope to return someday in the sunshine!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful place, and once again, it was absolutely perfect. The location is stunning, peaceful, with breathtaking sunsets, and the magical sight of dolphins swimming alongside birds and fish made it even more special. Amy and Craig are such kind and attentive hosts, always responding to our messages promptly and thoughtfully. We truly can’t wait to come back again. Thank you for another wonderful stay!
