A Public access launch is just yards away for personal watercraft. Evenings sprinkle the sky with plenty of stars to gaze at. Fishing, boating, kayaking, or just relaxing are all at your finger tips. Golfing, restaurants, shopping, and walking/ biking trails nearby. Pontoon/Kayak rentals available.

Lake Berry hideaway

This is a Lake house on Berry Lake. Enjoy the lake sitting on the porch enjoy your drink of choice while watching the ducks and swans swim across the lake. Bring your fishing poles and fish from the dock. You can launch your canoe or kayaks from the community beach area just a short distance from the house. We are close to Hillsdale College, antique shops, other lakes, and Amish stores. Our home is fully stocked with bedding, towels, laundry supplies, kitchen supplies, as well as internet.

Bluebird Trails

This is a working farm with hands-on learning of organic gardening practices, market gardening, wintee gardening, farmers market and CSA prep and sales, as well as sheep husbandry, including assisting with lamb births and herding. Other hands-on learning experiences include sourdough bread and jam making as well as canning. You will leave with increased knowledge of sustainable agriculture, self-sufficiency and a feeling of being at one with the earth.

The hot tub accommodates 6 people. The sunroom has beautiful views as well as a couple of beds that can be used if the weather is nice. There is nothing better than falling asleep to lake sounds and a pleasant breeze! Please no college partyers.
