Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der White House Lodge sehr genossen. Wir haben uns schnell wie zuhause gefühlt in der grosszügigen Wohnung. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Die schöne grosse Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Janaka und seine Familie haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben interessante Gespräche geführt. Unsere beiden gleich alten Söhne haben sich angefreundet, vielleicht eine Freundschaft fürs Leben? Das Internet funktioniert sehr gut, perfekt um zwischendurch zu arbeiten. Janaka hat unsere Ferien mit Tipps für Ausflüge bereichert. Sewwandi hat sehr lecker für uns gekocht, vielen Dank dafür! Preis-Leistung ist top! Wir kommen wieder.

Celine was an exceptional host who made our stay in Sri Lanka truly memorable. Her hospitality was second to none — warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She was always available, greeting us personally each morning and evening to reconfirm plans and ensure everything was running smoothly. Her attention to detail and consistent communication made us feel completely at ease throughout our trip. Celine went far beyond what one would expect from a host. She offered fantastic local recommendations, personally took us around the area, and even accompanied us on a grocery run — a gesture that meant so much. Thanks to her, we experienced the real Sri Lanka, not just as tourists but as welcomed guests. I came looking for a place to stay and left having found a friend. Thank you, Celine, for everything.

I had an amazing stay at ISI Villa Dikwella! The villa is exceptionally clean and well maintained, with comfortable rooms and beautiful beachfront views. Its location is perfect right on the beach and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and everything you need. The host was outstanding, providing excellent communication and support throughout my stay, making everything smooth and stress free. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, convenient, and well cared for getaway. I’ll definitely be back!

Villa is really nice! Property well maintained. Guardians can arrange everything what you need. They made us 2kg fresh lobster for only 40$. We are a filming company and wanted to make a story about the son of the guardians (he is a fishermen) went on see with him to catch some fish and filming his life story. Tuk tuk’s are available at the property gate. Ocean is in front. There are some cool bars nearby like: the doctors house. Ruzaik arranged our PCR testing for our return flight and we didn’t had to cue for hours!!! Big plus!

Nous avons passé un très bon moment chez Luca. La maison a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer un excellent repos. Vous pourrez observer les quelques animaux qui se promènent librement dans le jardin. La piscine est un gros plus dans la chaleur du Sri Lanka. La maison est incroyablement propre et les gens qui y travaillent sont très gentils. Nimesh vous aidera avec toutes vos questions, vous pouvez le contacter à tout moment. Il nous a emmenés changer de l'argent, nous a montré où se trouvaient les meilleurs endroits pour dîner et a organisé toutes les excursions pour nous. Il s'est également occupé de notre voyage et est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport. Tout le long, nous avons pu profiter des merveilleux dîners préparés par Nirosha dont un excellent barbecue de fruits de mer. La maison est très bien placée : seulement à quelques pas de la plage et de tous les restaurants/boutiques. N’hésitez pas à réserver votre séjour au sein de cette maison, c’est un véritable petit paradis.

Нам повезло и мы смогли заселиться пораньше. Всю нужную информацию мне скинули на восап. По приезде нас встретил Гайан и Ириш. Ириш был очень добр, мы видели его каждый день, когда он приходил убирать территорию. Наличие бассейна это абсолютный плюс на этой вилле. Мы купались в нем и утром и вечером. До моря пешком 3 минуты. В это время не многолюдно и почти на всех пляжах нет людей. По тангалле лучше передвигаться на байках, чтобы посетить различные пляжи и кафе. Пешком от виллы мы ходили в прекрасный ресторан в 10 минутах. В общем мы ничуть не пожалели и вспоминали эту виллу всю оставшуюся поездку.

We had a marvelous time at the Firefly villa. The house is really well furnished, and feels super welcoming and cosy. Patricja shared a lot of tips regarding local restaurants, activities and points of interests. She clearly contributed to make our honeymoon a remarkable experience. Would definitely recommend.

an excellent property, just as good as the photos. watching the sun go down over the water from the Infiniti pool each evening was a dream. all rooms are large and spacious. the all glass construction maximizes the beautiful views from every part of the property. the on site staff were very helpful and attentive. with the property being large and elevated, it was one of the few locations we were able to play music loud on the large speaker we brought, both indoors and outdoors, whenever we wanted without having to worry about disturbing neighbors too much which was great. the only negative is with all that glass the building can become a bit of a greenhouse in the hot sri lankan sun. A/C is sufficient in the bedrooms but it can get a bit uncomfortably hot in the main living room in the afternoons even with the A/C on max all day. Dinesh informed us they are working on adding additional A/C. In all, a fantastic stay, would definitely stay again, especially great for large groups.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Bei Rückfragen oder Anliegen waren sowohl Darshan als auch der Hauswärter Upatissa immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Besonders die Flora und Fauna des Anwesens war toll - wir haben Pfaue, Affen, Katzen, Frösche, Eichhörnchen und Vögel gesehen. Der Pool war auch eine tolle Möglichkeit, sich abzukühlen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne guten Gewissens weiter :)

We had a great stay at Hiriketiya Studios! Our room was very clean, had all the amenities we needed and the pool was lovely! It is a short walk to both Hiriketiya and Dickwella beach’s. Above all, Nishan was an excellent host. He was very friendly and had lots of recommendations for us! Overall, we’d recommend staying here :)

A great stay by the ocean. I loved going to sleep to the sound of the waves and watching the turtles right out the front. Lots of food and bar options within walking distance. Definitely recommend!

We ended up changing our accomodation and are so thrilled we found Cheryl and Donna’s place. It’s a beautiful, spacious and clean villa with all amenities you’d need for a short or long term stay. We were travelling with our 2 young children and both absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, a short walk down the hill to get to the beach and close to some really lovely restaurants (including Raa which is a must visit!) There are 3 very friendly dogs that live on the property so if you’re a dog person you’re in for a treat! We ended our 10 week trip at this villa and were so glad we did, if we ever come back to Hiri we will 100% stay again.

Great place to stay. Very close to silent beach, only a few minutes by foot. One of the most beautiful beaches we have seen here. Closeby to a local store and tuk tuks for easy transport. His family also supported with a taxi service, very friendly and reliable. Would highly recommended staying here.

The villa is adequately provided and well equipped . If anything is required to suit your taste then Aravinda promptly arranges the same . We spent nearly 34 days at this villa and it had become a second home to us. 2 bedrooms were provided with AC and the 3rd bedroom was provided with desert cooler. For longer stays the electricity is billed to the guest. Our bill was @14000 LKR for the entire duration . We used only 1 AC as only 1 bedroom was utilised by us. We didnot use any electric cooking gadget , even though all kinds of electric ovens were there. We used only the cooking gas stove and gas cylinder was provided by Aravinda . The front lawn is green and Aravinda takes responsibility to get the lawn cleaned once every week. Be careful of red ants though :-). Aravinda took us for a familiarisation ride of the locality on our 1st day . He also picked / dropped us from/to airport in his sedan at very low cost. We definitely would like to come back again!

The lost art of Air BnB - thank you Sue for creating a beautiful space that felt like our home away from home. The place is decorated so beautifully- dark wood and rattan furniture with fun modern accents. Kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy breakfast and fresh coffee. The yoga mats on top and a killer book collection?! Chefs kiss!! We travel so much and we look for beautiful spaces like this that standout on our journeys. Great location, great vibe, great experience. Thank you again for having us and sharing such a beautifully curated space.

New big spacious house with everything you need for a long stay. Very nice and helpful host. Would definitely recommend.

Die Unterkunft war definitiv die schönste unserer ganzen Reise. Es sah genauso aus wie auf den Fotos und wir fühlten uns unfassbar wohl! Morgens seinen Kaffee und Frühstück auf der wunderschönen Terasse zu trinken war ein Highlight. Die Gastgeberin und Mitarbeiterin waren sehr nett und haben uns beispielsweise von der Straße mit einem tuktuk abgeholt, als wir den Eingang nicht direkt gefunden haben. Wir konnten über die Unterkunft auch direkt super leicht Roller mieten und uns tuktuks in den nächsten Ort organisieren. In der Gegend gibt es leider bis auf ein paar Restaurants (die super sind) nicht so viel (keine richtige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten), jedoch ist z.B der Jungle Beach nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt und unfassbar schön!

This was hands down the best spot we found in Hiriketiya. It's just far enough from the busy center to enjoy total peace and quiet, but still only a 5-minute drive by bike to all the beach vibes, cafés, and restaurants Hiriketiya has to offer. The place itself is beautiful—super clean, modern, and brand new. The view is absolutely stunning, and waking up to the sunrise right from bed was a daily highlight. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, always happy to share tips and help with anything we needed. We felt very well taken care of. Highly recommend this gem if you're looking for a calm, comfortable, and scenic stay in Hiriketiya!

It was a perfect stay! House is very spacious , AC is working well, you will find plenty of utensils in the kitchen. There are comfortable two bathrooms to use with friendly baby gecko to help with mosquitoes 🥺 within the walking distance you can find serene beaches and good places to eat. Host was caring and welcomed us with lots of freshly picked bananas, not to mention about great feast he made for us one evening, he is a great Chef!
