It is the great place for family, you can see the aurora at night and enjoy the day with hot stub outside the cabin. Highly recommend this place.

Jòna’s place was the cozy retreat we needed. The cabin flooded with beautiful sunlight in the mornings & at night we saw the Northern Lights. The bed & pillows were super comfy. We cooked breakfast & dinner every night & had everything we needed to do it. The road to get to the cabin goes from asphalt to gravel to asphalt & back to gravel but we were able to do it with a Toyota Yaris (2WD). It was so quiet & peaceful! We took a walk in the evenings on the road. There is a Kronan grocery store about 30 minutes away & a Bonus grocery store about 35 minutes the other way (on Route 1 aka Ring Road). There is also an Olis gas station within 30 minutes of the cabin & we had no problems using our credit card (w/ no pin #). Actually, this was a big concern based on videos I have watched about getting gas in Iceland but we had NO issues. You will not regret staying here! We would definitely stay again. Thanks Jòna!

Zum ersten mal dort gewesen und sind total glücklich. Eine wunderbare Ferienunterkunft und man fühlt sich gleich zu Hause. Die Ruhe dort ist erholsam und wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, es gibt viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen. Die Kommunikation mit Sveinn ist super. Man kann sich auf ihn verlassen. Eine absolute Empfehlung

L'alloggio è semplicemente perfetto, la cucina era fornita di tutto e lo spazio del salotto è stato davvero comodissimo per passare la sera a casa (plus la smart tv!). I dintorni sono molto tranquilli e grazie al poco inquinamento luminoso abbiamo anche visto una bellissima aurora boreale. Tornerei assolutamente in questa casa

This was a beautiful spot for our family for a few days. The place is very small, but we made it work for four, and the location was prime, the hot tub was lovely and the sheep in the distance were adorable. Plus the Northern Lights!

This was our second stay at Einar and Daddi’s home and it was just as amazing as the first ❤️ We felt right at home immediately, so cozy by the fire after our excursions for the day. We watched the northern lights from the warmth of the home since there are windows everywhere, making it very easy to see, even if you do not want to go outside. We truly could not have asked for a better experience. We will be back again, it’s just a matter of time. Thank you all so much again for your hospitality ❤️

We came to Iceland for Northern Lights. This is a rustic cabin on the farm perfect for seeing Northern Lights at night…at the comfort of the cabin. Sveinn is hospitable and a responsive communicator. The cabin is remote, away from city light pollution, but a few restaurants and a grocery store are about a 5 minute drive in this small town. For 3 consecutive nights, we saw Northern Lights on the back porch with wine, dessert and hot chocolate without having driving to somewhere else. It is cold and windy in south Iceland. But staying at this cabin, you can get inside to warm up…then go back outside to enjoy Northern Lights in the sky. Would return again.

Tout d'abord, nous avons vécu ici nos plus belles aurores boréales depuis notre arrivée en Islande (4ème soirée) : pas d'éclairage parasite, un horizon quasi dégagé à 360 degrés, les conditions météo idéales... Forcément, ce lieu est devenu culte pour nous ! Pour le logement à proprement parler : rien à redire, tout est en ordre, conforme à la description, et mieux encore... Quant à l'extérieur, il est top ! On a rêvé d'un été ici ! Inévitablement, nous reviendrons lors de notre prochain passage en Islande, et pas seulement pour les aurores, que cela soit clair, nous avons adoré notre séjour ! Si vous en avez l'opportunité, n'hésitez pas !

Excelente, estuvimos muy còmodos mi mujer y yo, la casa está genial , muy recomendable . Tiene de todo, incluido un radiador grande. Las camas estupendas . El lugar y acceso muy bien, ideal como punto de partida para excursiones. Muy recomendable. Isalandia es increible y esta casita estará en nuestros recuerdos para siempre.

It has been a great stay. Everything is clean and perfectly arranged, ebough space (2 adults & 1 kids), very private and calm, very comfortable. Bathroom, heating, beds, table, kitchen stuff - everything was perfectly adapted to our needs. There is a small town (Hvolsvöllur) less than 10 mins away, where you can do grocery shopping, make your loundry as well as some restaurants and much more. A nice stay - thumbs up! One of our favorite accommodations.

It was the prefect place for what we planned. It was very peaceful and easy to find. We were very comfortable. It would be a good place to see the northern lights but the weather was not on our side. Just one of those things. Thank you Stefan.

Brus Guesthouse liegt sehr ruhig mit herrlichem Blick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Just as described with a gorgeous view! This was very nice stay for crew of 4 teens and 2 adults and a convenient location for South lceland sights!
