It is one of the oldest cities, playing an important role in the Siege of Malta in 1565. Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans Byzantines, Arabs, Normans, Aragonese and The Knights of Malta all shaped and developed Birgu.

Valletta, Mdina, Rabat and Mosta are all one bus ride away. Bus stops, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants and cafès are all located within short walking distance. Also the beautiful San Anton Botanical Gardens which form part of the Grandmaster's Presidential Palace are an 8 minute walk away.

Right into the spectacular Birgu's harbour creek this apartment enjoys 180 degrees unobstructed breath taking views. Valletta (World Heritage by Unesco) the capital city of Malta which has been also chosen as the City of Culture 2018 is reachable in only 15 minutes by ferry from my apartment. Ferry berths a few metres away from my place.
