Puttalam : locations de vacances adaptées aux animaux

Nous avons séjourné avec nos enfants dans cette spacieuse maison, dotée de 3 chambres et de 3 salles de bains, d'un vaste séjour, d'une salle à manger et d'une cuisine équipée. La maison est très agréable, le long mais en retrait de la route principale qui mène à Kalpitiya. Le seul inconvenant est qu'elle ne soit pas proche de la ville. Un moyen de transport privé ou public est nécessaire pour s'y rendre. Notre hôte s'est montrée disponible et accueillante. Vraiment un bon séjour et une bonne alternative aux coûteux hôtels de la péninsule, même en ajoutant le prix des transports pour se rendre sur les plages.

This was a little slice of paradise for our family. It was very relaxing and quiet. Sharmila was very responsive to all of our questions and needs. The caretaker, Sunil, was present a lot, and went out of his way to make us comfortable. If he noticed anything that needed done, he didn't ask, but stepped up and took care of the glass or dish one of my children left around the house. This is a place that is in nature, with lots of bugs and mosquitoes, be aware of that. But you are in great hands with Sharmila. She even called the local hospital to find a pediatrician when my daughter didn't feel well for a day. Excellent home, excellent host. I would recommend this stay for anyone needed a bit of rest and relaxation.

I stayed at Ruben`s place for few days after the season. It was really great! This place is really lovely, situated in a walking distance from the town and the beach plus there are bikes to use for guests! You can agree for breakfast and/or dinner which i highly recommend as the cook, Nisala, is amazing, all what i tried there was absolutely delicious! It's like a little paradise with charming houses among palm trees and colorful hamacks, highly recommended!

This place is excellent. Service and hospitality are incredible. Its very quiet and relaxing. Amazing atmosphere. Susantha and his family go out of their way to make you feel at home. Highly recommend.

Susantha är en härlig karaktär, umgås med sina gäster, pratar mycket och skrattar hela tiden. Hans mamma lagar fantastiskt goda middagar. Frukosten är ganska bra. Jag bytte från backpacker rum som var litet till en cabana med eget badrum och dusch för att det var mer prisvärt.

This is a lovely spot off the beaten track but well worth the effort. For you kite surfers….its a super place to learn in the lagoon with an easy option (50m) for more advanced to kite in the beautiful open sea. The vibe is chill and yet everyone seemed to progress quickly. Lovely home cooked evening meals.

Die Unterkunft liegt an einem nicht sehr touristischen Ort und wer es gerne ruhig und Privat mag, wird dort fündig. Der Pool ist schön, mit Blick auf den Strand. Am Strand kann man bei wenig starken Wellen gut baden. Leider schwämmt es zu gewissen Zeiten viel Müll an den Strand, die Angestellten sind jedoch bemüht, ihn wegzuräumen und zu plegen. Die Angestellten sind alle sehr nett und zuvorkommend und interessiert am persönlichen kennenlernen und deiner Kultur. Der Koch macht sehr gutes Essen. Da es viel Natur rundum hat, gibt es viele Mücken in den Abendzeiten und je nach Tag abhängig Fliegen. Uns hat es sehr gefallen, dass wir dort nicht auf andere mühsame Touristen getroffen haben, welche alles benötigen und es sehr angenehm ruhig und entspannt war.

We couldn’t recommend staying at Ruuk Village more. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the private area at the front is relaxing and pretty, and the private bathroom is in keeping with the whole theme of the village. Our stay was made even better by the staff, who were always attentive, and the food provide was delicious - the authentic Sri Lankan dinners and breakfasts were brilliant. Don’t come here if you’re looking for 5* hotel treatment, but DO come here if you’re looking for friendly, flawless treatment with rustic, charming rooms only metres from beautiful views. All in all, we couldn’t recommend Ruuk Village highly enough.
