Beautiful home with excellent views of the lake and valley--it was especially lovely as the leaves were turning. Also, the place has dark skies for star-gazing on a clear night. All rooms were clean and as-presented in the photos and description. Jeff sent some very helpful info and photos to help us drive in to the house--especially helpful since the last ~1 mile is on a private, relatively narrow road. Also, my Android Maps app on my phone was clearly sending me to the wrong location (i.e., not to the lake), so we relied on my spouse's I-Phone--which brought us right in. (Interestingly, Google Maps on my laptop had showed the correct location, but Google navigation on my phone was pointing elsewhere.) Recommend you pre-check your nav feature in advance of your arrival. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a serene location with great views and lake access.

Good location away from the town and great hospitality

Cute little house that had all the amenities that we needed for a weekend visit. Bryon was very quick to respond to any questions! Great host!

Fantastic place to stay for a long girls' weekend! House is gorgeous and worth every penny!!! We were there in January, and it was still amazing. Can't imagine what it's like when it's warmer!

Great place to stay with our pups to visit our VT student, attend Spring Game, and visit her future wedding venue in Roanoke. Quiet and peaceful. Great deck and porch. Not very close to food options but we planned for that and got items on the way in. Also ate in Blacksburg and while we were out and about. Very clean and comfortable. Well equipped!

Our family of 12 just spent an amazing Thanksgiving here. It was plenty big enough for all of us to spread out. In fact, it is bigger than it seems in the pictures. Even though it’s November we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor deck and the dock. We took our Christmas card picture with the beautiful scenery behind us. I highly recommend this house - it has everything you could want!

We had a very nice stay at the Sunflower Suite. Patricia and Gene's place is super comfortable, quiet, and spotless. We felt right at home. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot and had great water pressure. We enjoyed the gas fireplace in the morning. We would happily stay here again.

Had a wonderful 2nd stay at Katrina’s wonderful place. You will feel right at home when you walk into this awesome apartment…. The furnishings are comfortable and neat and Katrina has delicious banana bread and treats in the fridge. The place is sparkling clean and you have everything you need for a wonderful stay. Katrina is an amazing host and we love staying here!

The mill was a perfect place for us. We love history and the setting was beautiful. For such an old structure we found it to be warm,cozy, beautiful and very comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows were wonderful. We enjoyed taking our E bikes out even at 43*! Very scenic and little to no traffic on the road. Such a gem! Many thanks to the hosts for creating a lovely getaway and sharing it with the rest of us!

Great place close to Blacksburg.

Our stay at the Roost was very pleasant. We especially enjoyed the river access and hung out down there a couple of times. One of our favorite things was the lack of a TV. It added to the unplugged rustic experience we enjoy. Thank you Michael for sharing your space with us.

Thank you for a lovely and peaceful stay! The place and atmosphere is beautiful and serene. We especially loved the amazing out of this world dream shower!! The shower alone was worth the stay. I mean you gotta see this amazing spa like shower. Also the host was very kind and attentive and genuine. As far as I'm concerned this is a "must stay" if traveling thru the area. Thanks guys.

A beautiful location matched with a stunning condo. The back deck that has a gate so the dogs can hang out and explore, walkable and quiet. Not a lot close by so bring some food along. Great ambience with the fireplace and kitchen. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I enjoyed a 5-night stay at Lindsay's Airbnb, and we had a very relaxing time. The environment is tranquil and stunning, with windy roads and beautiful meadows; and the host Lindsay is very responsive and kind. The Airbnb was cozy, very quiet, and at 15-minute drive from VT campus, several access points to the huckleberry trail, a mountain bike trail system, and the rising silo brewery. We would stay again on a future occasion that would bring us to the Blacksburg area.

The hosts were very responsive through the whole process. Originally we had booked another property closer to Blacksburg for a baseball tournament, but that house had a flood and we had to find something else 2 days before we were supposed to leave. Lauren took great care of us on short notice. The property itself is in a beautiful spot with a great view from the back of the house. There is very little nearby but if you are ok being in a remote location and getting some peace and quiet, I would highly recommend.

This is bar none the best Airbnb/VRBO we have ever stayed in…. and that includes our own!! My daughter even said “we need to step up our Airbnb game” after our stay. The place was truly spotless. The decor was beautiful. The furniture and beds were super comfy. There were special touches such as snacks and bottled water, a fully stocked coffee bar, games and bathroom amenities. We came to visit our son for Easter weekend and we were the first guests. I was nervous about booking, however, after reaching out to Tanya. I was put completely at ease. We will book this Airbnb whenever it is available on our trips to Blacksburg. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that after football season it is going to be hard to come by as word will get out as to what a gem Tanya has created.

My husband and I stayed in Christine’s house for Spring Family Weekend. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was so convenient to downtown and campus. Christine was a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again!

We went for a football game and the room was just what we needed! Very comfortable and the space is walkable to many places. Christine was great at communication and we’d love to stay there again for another hokie event!
