The shops, supermarkets , cafes, restaurants/bars, take aways and fast foods are 1km walk. Included in your stay is the unlimited use of canoes and paddle boards- life jackets provided. We only offer a quiet , comfortable room to stay in - Parties, visitors and binge drinking are not allowed.

The walkway to the beach is across the road from the bottom of the property, short 5 mins stroll to the beach. Designed as a romantic getaway, with 4 post bed, hot tub & amazing night skies. Expansive outdoor deck with louvre pergola room and outdoor seating. BBQ available on request. Stay, play, relax and unwind. Our space is great for travellers who enjoy wineries, cafes, beaches, walks, a boutique cinema, Matakana market on Saturdays, Morris and James pottery and the variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have an adequate shopping centre and local pub within walking distance.

Snells Beach is about an hour's north of Auckland and perfect for a quiet relaxed getaway. There are plenty of things to do nearby from visiting charming country cafes and wineries, or shopping at the local farmer's markets, or even taking a day trip to explore Kawau Island. If you want to explore or relax closer to the cottage, the beach is only 500m away.
