The Old Carthouse at Druid Farm

The Old Carthouse is one of two holiday homes located on a 40-acre farm, ideally-situated for those who seek the peace and tranquility of the British countryside. The three-bedroom cottage sleeps up to six people. The Old Carthouse is fully-equipped and furnished, offering three bedrooms (two double, one with bunk beds). Bed linen, electricity, TV, Wi-Fi (50mbps) and central heating are included. Ample on-site parking is available. Guests are also free to use both the shared and private garden.

Private annexe, with own entrance, kitchenette area no sink as washing up is done for you. Parking space. situated in a small country village, lovely walks on the doorstep and close to Bristol, Bath, Wells and Cheddar. Bristol Airport is 20 minutes away. The Beautiful Chew valley lake is 3 miles away and is ideal for walks, bird watching and fishing. Other attractions within an hours drive are stone henge, Weston Super Mare, Longleat safari Park. The perfect base for visiting the West Country.

The Cowshed

The Cowshed is a fully self contained property with its own entrance and includes one car parking space on our private driveway. It is an annexe which has been newly renovated. We have recently given this space a new lease of life by re-decorating the main living area, bathroom and bedroom. It also comes with a fully refurnished kitchen along with all new appliances excluding dishwasher & washing machine. Situated in the village of Farmborough, only 8 miles from Bath and Bristol City Centre.

Welcome to the Snug. Arrive & unwind in the beautiful Chew Valley village of Stanton Drew close to Bristol, Bath, the Mendips, Cheddar & Wells. The Snug is located at the end of a quiet country lane in a private location. Tastefully refurbished in 2024 as a single floor private annex with its own large parking space outside the front door. Your own private garden, outdoor seating area & patio. Renowned for high quality food, our local pub the Druids Arms is a 5 minute walk from the front door.

Traditional Country Cottage

1 Gloucester Cottages is nestled in the quaint mining village of Stanton Drew in the Chew Valley, Somerset, The village is home of the prehistoric Stanton Drew stone circles, the second largest stone circle in Britain after Avebury. The cottage is great for families and couples, it has a fully equipped kitchen and is furnished through out, a king sized bed and double with all linen included. We have fast wifi, parking and an open working fireplace for those cosy nights in with a bottle of red.

The Annex @ Greenacres

Our self contained Annex is well equipped for one night stays or longer relaxing breaks. The accommodation features a fully fitted kitchen with washer dryer, walk in shower and bath tub, for that long soak! Our rural setting will give you a peaceful nights sleep in the double bed and the spacious lounge leads into the conservatory which has views of our large garden and the beautiful Somerset countryside and some spectacular sunsets. We strongly recommend a car as we are in a rural setting.

The Old Stables is a unique and romantic escape situated on the edge of Avon Woods in Publow. Beautiful countryside walks, along with multiple pubs and the famous Pensford Viaduct are all on your doorstep. Located between the vibrant cities of Bristol & Bath, you can access the bars and culture of these great cities before returning to a countryside retreat. We have installed a brand new 55 inch smart tv and super fast Starlink internet making this a perfect place to relax or work.

Not suitable for children under 18 or pets. Car essential. The base price is for 2 people. Extra guests 3 and 4 pay £65 per night per person.

It is well appointed with fully fitted kitchen, wet room and two well sized bedrooms - one double and one single. The main living area is furnished with settee and arm chair with an inviting log burner to ease those chilly nights; a dining table and chairs allows for self-contained living. The views over the Chew Valley, Pensford and Publow are stunning in all seasons.

The Cottage is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and we are also dog friendly (1 small/medium sized well behaved dog is welcome!). Ultra fast fibre broadband is a recent addition for guests needing to work from the cottage or simply surf the internet .
