Tucked along a little stream, boasting with bird life, this private large 60 sq meter (650sq feet) 2 bedroom apartment provides a sense of peace and tranquility although conveniently located within the town in one of the most desirable areas of Oudtshoorn. The suite has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, private living room, a kitchenette & large balcony. As an added bonus, the bathroom has been COMPLETELY renovated in early 2023. The Cottage is peaceful and tranquil, a few minutes’ walk from the beautiful Karoo countryside, yet only a 10-minute walk from the shops and restaurants in Prince Albert. Prince Albert is the prettiest of all Karoo towns. Prince Albert is nestled at the foot of the majestic Swartberg Mountains, at the very edge of the Great Karoo.

Borrie Cottage @ Yellow House

Borrie Cottage is the perfect spot to stay during a road trip.It is 1,8km from the centre of eccentric Prince Albert and situated on a farm at the outskirts of town. Totally safe, it is also great for cyclists wanting to cycle the majestic Swartberg Pass (a mere 3km from your doorstep), as well as for motorcyclists travelling through.The cottage is ideal for business visits.We have more accommodation on the farm, so can host bigger groups too.

Large garden full of fruit trees and birds. Please note that most of our guests who book for one night regret not staying longer, so we do recommend longer stays if you have the time!
