We enjoyed our stay (our second visit at Lewis’ place). The location is ideal and the town centre and restaurants are easily walkable. Secure parking is a plus in Abergavenny and there is supermarket next door. The apartment itself is bright, modern and very well maintained. It has everything you need for a few days stay in this lovely market town where we were born many years ago! We particularly appreciate the lift up to it’s first floor location. Mike and Ann

Amazing value for a full apartment Centrally located in a lovely location The bells were comforting for us The music in the vaults nearby was not too loud and the musicians were excellent Jenny is a lovely friendly lady who is very responsive Tahira in the chai cafe below was so knowledgeable about everything in the world and very friendly: a must visit for Indian food or tea/coffee or to see her paintings Three tunnes pub is worth a visit Six bells and the vault pub are also worth visiting You are staying in a building that dates to the 1500’s but all mod cons there and lots of extra cooking equipment I liked that there were steam pans as id forgotten mine Jennys place is worthy of at least 8 stars Thank you for preserving such a great building

Rosemarie was extremely welcoming and very friendly. The Loft was stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean. It was spacious and comfortable and a peaceful and relaxing environment. The Loft is located in a spectacular part of South Wales. Plenty of Castles to visit and mountains to climb. We would definitely return and stay in the Loft again.

This is a little gem of an accomodation. Well equipped thoughout and is located in a nice and quiet village. All the rooms are clean and spaceous with en-suite bathrooms. Neat and tidy kitchen. My family of hard-pleasers loved it.

Stayed for a local wedding but would return for a peaceful retreat in the Welsh countryside.

Stayed for 10 nights in 'The Loft' in February 25, absolutely stunning location, the property was beautiful, arrived to lovely local shortbread and a bottle of fizz, such a lovely touch. The place is amazing... I don't know how else to describe it! It was way above what I expected. Yes the road going up to it was a single lane and at times muddy, but this is a remote location and definitely worth it for the stargazing, the peacefulness of it. It was fabulous 🥰 Friendly hosts, friendly goats, beautiful waddling ducks and noisy but cute geese! 🥰

Gerard made everything and beyond to make sure that I had a good stay and felt comfortable. I had such a nice time there and what in the beginning was just a temporarily stop became one of my favorite moments of my whole trip. Thank you so much for everything!

Very comfortable stay. Well-equipped accommodation. Fabulous hot tub - just what we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway!

We’ve just returned from a fantastic 4-night stay (7 adults, 2 kids & 2 dogs) and it truly exceeded our expectations—we didn’t want to leave! The outdoor space was lovely, especially the seating area around the hot tub, and the kids loved the playhouse and slide. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The welcome treats were a thoughtful touch. Rosie was super helpful and responsive prior to our stay, even suggesting great local activities. We’d happily come back again!

Perfect place for a wedding nearby. House is exactly as advertised. Check in and out was easy with the lock box. Shrad very kindly let us check out an hour later than advertised. One thing to note is that Google Maps takes you to the wrong place, it's actually the next street over to where you are directed. It wasn't difficult to figure it out tho.

Super property. Plenty of space inside and out. Creatively decorated and furnished. Very comfortable. Thanks Natasha and Neil for a lovely stay and the super starter goodies in the kitchen.

Great stay thank you Julie! Host communication was amazing and grounds were beautiful, kitchen was well equipped and lots of lovely walks near by. We especially loved being able to swim in the steam on the property! Would definitely stay again. Worth noting that some of the bedrooms are accessed through other bedrooms, but did not cause us any issues!

Stayed on Claire's place for a long weekend with friends. Absolutely stunning house, awesome garden, amazing views and super peaceful. Photos don't do it justice - it's an amazing Airbnb! Would love to stay again one day :)

We had a wonderful stay here. The whole house felt much bigger than in the pictures, and it was spotless, warm, and welcoming. Every bedroom having an ensuite on top of the other bathroom was really handy for getting ready in the mornings. We had everything we needed from an airbnb here and had such an amazing stay - everyone wished we stayed longer to enjoy the space more!

Had a lovely stay in this 3 bed house. There were clear instruction on how to enter the property and the house was pristine inside. Had a great time exploring the Brecon Beacons with some friends over the Easter bank holiday weekend. Would recommend for families or groups of friends wanting to do the same!

This was our second time at this property. We love it here. It's a work trip but we find it within walking distance to our favourite pub and an amazingly appointed property

Sarah and Graeme were extremely efficient in their communication and instructions, they were so welcoming from the moment we arrived. The Air BnB was warm and cosy, with thoughtful touches like heated towel racks, bread, butter & marmalade, milk and coffee for the morning. The sofa bed was massive, easy to assemble and had a luxurious thick duvet. The Village was very peaceful, beautiful to walk around, we wish we could have stayed longer, particularly to see the much talked about waterfall and hiking trails. Although we stayed only one night, the rooms were perfect and had all the amenities that we needed on a chilly October night! Sarah and Graeme showed us the utmost kindness, generosity and went above and beyond in helping me when I got myself into a pickle. I would highly recommend spending a few days with Sarah and Graeme in Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, in fact, if you going somewhere else in Wales, make it a road trip and stop by to enjoy a dependable & cosy stay here.

We went to Ann's place for few nights. It was a lovely stay. the weather was perfect, so we got some wonderful walks around the area. Ann left us a breakfast kit which came in handy as we forgot our breakfast bits a very nice touch. It was a very comfortable place to stay and we cooked all our meals here so everything we needed was here. Ann gave us lots of places where we could do some nice walks and was very helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely come back again. Thank you for having us.

Helen was a lovely host, very gentle soul, great location, and great space. 3 bedrooms which is very good because in total 7 people can sleep. 1 bedroom with 3 single beds, 2nd bedroom with double bed and 3rd bedroom with 2 more single beds. So 7 beds, also upstairs bathroom and downstairs wet room. Perfect for a large family or group gathering. Few minutes to brecon. Only 1 and half hour to Elan Valley, only 1 and half hour to the coast Aberporth. 20 minutes to Talybont Usk resivours etc. Very good location Kitchen has essentials with cooker fridge and freezer and dishwasher, little dinning table and 2 small sofas, 2 dinning stalls, freeview tv, wifi, and parking. I recommend a stay here. Michelle

This was already our second time at Cantref House which is really one of the best places we have ever stayed in. And without any doubt the most well equipped one. It was a pleasure to meet Sheila and Peter again, to enjoy their great hospitality, the spacious flat and the lovely views on the mountains and their beautiful garden. We would love to come back in the future.
