Sandra was delightful, friendly, and very personable. She had great recommendations for local spots based on our itinerary for the day, and gave us lots of local tips. Her place felt safe, and she had lots of thoughtful touches like snacks, drinks, books, and good shampoos and soaps! I would stay there again :)

Nora and Ian were great hosts.. Nora made sure we had all the info we needed including helping to pick oysters and clams..the location was assume...we'll definitely come again..

We had a good little getaway on Hornby. The home was clean and had enough space for our bigger group. It was located well for what we planned to do.

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew and Jane's! The suite was exactly as in the photos, with loads of room and a very welcome and warm fireplace. We had a great view of the water, and deer grazing in the yard in the evenings. I've never seen a suite so well supplied, with everything from dog bowls to shaving gel! With Seal Bay Park practically right next door, you'd never run out of options for really tranquil and beautiful nature walks. It was very quiet, and we really enjoyed our time there. High recommendations from us!

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. Extremely peaceful and you cannot beat the unobstructed views of Georgia Strait and mountains! Five star property. Comfortable, cozy and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was as advertised and Alana was a very gracious host. I definitely will be back to this beautiful place (and I don’t usually go to the same places but this one I will). Highly recommend for 1-2 people.

Todd was an amazing host and super friendly. The location had a beautiful view and walkable to the most amazing beaches. 100% would stay here again!

It is the most wonderful airbnb we have ever seen and stayed at. It felt like home. Ever room is nicely furnished and Charles and Vanessa definitely have an eye for details. We had fresh flowers in the vase on the table, home made cake every day and more than enough of various traditional and healthy options for breakfast in the fridge and cupboards. These and a selection of fruit were constantly refilled!!! The kitchen has a perfect equipment and the unique bed is very comfy. The bathroom is modern, all well looked after, spotless clean and so cosy! We had a bbq and garden chairs in the outside area. Vanessa and Charles are very caring but not intrusive and were always approachable for any question. The little General Store is a few steps away and sells everything you need from groceries to sun cream etc.. The small beach is just over the road. It is a quiet area with next to no traffic. I highly recommend this airbnb and I hope we will be able to come back (we live in Germany).

The place and location was amazing. Everything was perfect. The outside eating area with BBQ was better than expected/realized. The entire place looked newly renovated. The bay was great - just plan your water activities there according to the tide, because at low tide there is no water. Great location travelling to Madeira Park and Sechelt or beyond. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

I recently stayed at Ashley's place, and it was an exceptional experience! The property was exactly as described (and even better in person). It was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, especially the view was amazing. I loved the closed huge backyard too because of my dog. Ashley was incredibly welcoming and providing clear communications. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. We definitely gonna stay at this place again. This time Summer.

Susanne has thought of everything. This cute cottage was spacious, well-stocked, and had wonderful thoughtful amenities to help make a trip flow smoothly (phone chargers, room divider for the pullout couch, shampoo - the list goes on!). This is a great space for people who love to cook and feel at home when on the road. Thank you Susanne! You made our trip so much more special.

Cozy, comfy, peaceful with an incredible view. What more could you want. Nothing better than having your morning coffee listening to the ocean and watching the harbour seals playing. Can’t wait to plan our next trip here. Thank you!

The place is great. Outstanding views of the tide going in and out, close to Comox. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked and the appliances were great. There is a sun room we spent most of our time in. Rich, the host, was also an asset to helping out. The cleanliness was not what I expected. Two blankets had a sour smell on the couch, the white chairs are stained, floors underneath the furniture probably hadn’t been cleaned in awhile, the reason we noticed is to move a chair for the tv and I dropped something under the couch and retrieving it there was a plethora of goodies. The bathroom upstairs had something on the window we could only guess at. That all said Rich was quick to address it and we easily washed the blankets and a quick sweep.

Wonderful accommodation. The view, the deck, comfortable beds, nicely renovation yet still had the charm of a 1950s house and well equipped.

This is an amazing property! The view is amazing. The cottage is so cozy. The kitchens are incredibly well stocked in both the suite and cottage. The beds are comfy. The hot tub/spa area is great. And while the walk between the two houses was a bit nerve racking in the rain/dark, the path is well lit and has tread along the way, keeping us safe. The doors are a little sticky to both houses, so at times we would get stuck outside, but eventually we were able to figure them out. But Chris and Jenn were great communicators and were able to assist when we needed it.

The apartment had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was well labelled and Andrea even had “kid” dishes so it suited us perfectly. There is a dishwasher which was great:. The place was tidy and clean. We had meals outside and enjoyed the view from the patio. The kids enjoyed the small outdoor pool which was heated. There is access to a marina from the property but no beach. Andrea was very communicative and responsive. She answered questions about the unit when needed and was helpful to provide local recommendations for beaches and things to do. We arrived late at night in the pitch dark but Andrea’s instructions to find the unit were helpful and much needed as there were no signs indicating any unit numbers that we could see. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend Andrea’s apartment to anyone exploring Halfmoon Bay!

Our group (four adults and a toddler) had a lovely time at the Beach House. The location was idyllic between the views and access to the beach. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed and had some wonderful extras (lots of kids toys and books, as well as a great selection of games for the adults to play in the evenings). We would love to visit again in the future.

We had an amazing time at the Beach House. The location was amazing waking up each morning to the beautiful view of Saratoga Beach to walking barefoot on the white sandy pristine beach or just sitting on the deck enjoying a cool beverage. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive. We highly recommend the Beach House and will be booking for next year.

Wonderful week! Fantastic deck furniture, bbq and outdoor space with wonderful view. Great setup with two ensuite bedrooms and full kitchen. Perfect location with access to Campbell River, Comox and surrounding areas. Hosts were absolutely perfect communicators, proactive and helpful. Thank you for a great stay!

Great location. Remote, but easy to access the ocean and hiking/biking trails. Small place, but everything a couple would want. Melissa was helpful and responsive.

Great stay. Beach is very rocky so hard to explore. Was very clean and uncluttered. Found the bed very hot to sleep in but was comfortable with nice pillows. Kitchen is small but had what we needed. Great water pressure and nice hot water.

this was the perfect little get away. all amenities were available. and the view was truly stunning from the units. we had a bit of windy weather and hearing the waves crashing on the beach 50 feet away was amazing. being able to have a fire on the beach on the quiet evening was the best feeling of relaxation.
