Our family had the best time here! Loved the yurt! There is a creek across the street that the children played in, we fished in the pond, played baseball in the meadow, had a campfire under the stars. The beds were super comfortable, we enjoyed the privacy and the beauty of the area. We hope to go back and stay longer next time! Well appointed kitchen, super clean home, responsive host, beautiful views through the many windows, private stay yet close to activities. It’s a gem, for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at the yurt for my son’s 6th birthday! My 2 kids loved the farm tour, playing in the creek, and roasting marshmallows by the campfire. Monica equips the campsite with everything you’d need and is super communicative leading up to your stay. We would definitely recommend to those looking for the experience of camping in the great outdoors paired with the comforts of home!

This was by far our best experience. The Yurt, the whole homestead, was just incredible. So peaceful and rejuvenating. Already planing our next trip up.

The yurt was great! Right by the water, close to breweries and a meadery (!), and a great setup for a campfire.

We had a great time. The yurt is in a very secluded and peaceful area, and the surrounding mountains are good for moderate to difficult hiking. There’s a small lake with a pedal boat and a couple swimming platforms. There’s also a hot tub a short walk from the yurt (though we didn’t use it). The yurt itself is large and spacious. It’s very sturdy. The deck is very large, too. Great for unobstructed night sky views. The inside is very clean, and although there is no TV hook up you can bring your own DVDs to watch. There are magazines and quite a few interesting coffee table books as well. So if you forget to bring a book, no worries. It’s a great place to get away from it all. I recommend highly and would rent again.

We loved staying here! The grounds are beautiful, the yurt is rustic and lovely, and the hosts are communicative and friendly. It was such a joy to wake up surrounded by serene woods and greeted by the professional welcome squad (Felix the Cat!). Mary and Dave are excellent hosts and are so generous to share their gorgeous property. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Loved the yurt! The location is perfect - near all the outdoor activities in the area. As well, close to many vineyards. I really liked the yurt style… simple, easy. And the out door bathtub/shower was a bonus! It was such a peaceful place…. Loved that it did not have a TV. Stayed an extra night we liked it so much.

Fran was an exceptional host, and the yurt was such a fun way to ring in the New Year. I won't mince words: it was chilly, but the buddy heater was a welcome amenity, and the bed was beyond comfy and piled high with blankets. The bathhouse 250 steps away was terrific, but by far and away my favorite perk was the en suite--the composting toilet around the corner on the deck, something I didn't know about until I arrived! Fran thinks of everything, and, given I was starving on arrival, the freshly baked bread was such a welcome treat. If you're a beer drinker, don't miss Blue Mountain Barrel House & Smokin' Barrel Restaurant. Thank you, Fran!

Stayed at a few KOAs, this one was the cleanest, best maintain and had the most things to do. Had a 9 hole disc golf course, nature trail, petting zoo, moon bounce, full amenities store, and it was 4 miles from all restaurants. Awesome place
