We always communicated with Lir, who was always wonderful! The house was great and has a lot of potential: is spacious and isolated so that you do not hear any noise. The outside area is very pretty but could use some landscaping or at least have some outside furniture or arranged area so that we could actually enjoy it and sit outside. As much as the varanda is super nice, outside is nicer :-). But overall it was great! If you are afraid of heights/cliffs, be aware that the dirt road that takes you to the house is a bit hedgy...

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im schönen Häuschen am See. Es ist ganz ruhig und man fühlt sich der Natur sehr nah. Im See konnte man leider während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht schwimmen, da das Wasser zu tief stand. Trotzdem war es ein herrlicher Anblick jeden Tag. Das Haus ist gemütlich und geräumig mit einem grossen Wohn-Essbereich, einem grossen und einem kleinen Schlafzimmer. Die Betten und Matratzen waren prima. Eine schöne Terrasse mit tollem Sternenhimmel in der Nacht haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich perfekt gemacht. Als Info: Das Haus ist recht hellhörig und unserer Meinung nach braucht man ein Auto, da es sich entfernt von grossen Strassen befindet. Für die Abende sollte man einen Pulli einpacken. Andrea und Jose waren sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die erreichbar waren, aber ihren Gästen ihre Privatsphäre lassen. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Vento Doreen was very helpful and attentive the house is ideally located for access to Ferragudo there is road noise but we got used to it. The pool needed attention when we arrived and this was done within a few hours Only small points the sun beds could do with being replaced and the bedding was not to our taste We have no hesitation in recommending Casa Vento as a great holiday base in a lovely town

Ricardo a été très réactif et arrangeant, j’ai pu avoir le logement plus tôt que prévu, il est toujours aux petits soins. Le logement est fidèle à l’annonce, tout est à proximité à pied, seulement à 10min à pied de la gare. Merci !

Tres belle maison correspondant à la description globale. Victor est un hôte formidable, réactif, présent mais discret . maison très propre avec une psicine formidable, propre et agréable, nettoyé par l'hôte. Menage offert si séjour supérieur à une semaine avec changement des draps et des serviettes. Belle prestation. Seule limite est la climatisation présente que dans une chambre sur trois. Des ventilmateurs sont disponibles pour les autres chambres mais très chaud quand meme. Cela devrait etre précisé. Forte recommandation malgré tout

I've been looking forward to writing this review since we checked in. Catarina and Antonio's house is absolutely amazing. As my wife said when she first saw it, the pictures don't do it justice, it is one of the few places that look even better in real life than it does in the pictures. Beautifully decorated, amazing land for hiking around the property, extremely peaceful and Antonio was so helpful and responsive at all times. I would recommend this property to anybody looking for peace and quiet but still close enough to all possible amenities. Thank you Catarina and Antonio!

Excelente apartamento senti-me como se estivesse na minha casa uma vez que tinha tudo o que precisava, tem todos os eletrodomésticos que necessitamos no nosso dia-a-dia. Espaço exterior bem tratado e cuidado,. Localização está perfeita, conseguimos ir para qualquer lado dr carro a 10 minutos da praia Zona muito calma e tranquila perfeito para descansar. É só chegar e acomodar.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Von der ersten Sekunde an haben wir uns unglaublich herzlich willkommen und sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin Eva ist sehr hilfsbereit, immer schnell erreichbar und man spürt überall ihre Liebe zum Detail. Ihre Empfehlungen für Restaurants, Ausflüge und Aktivitäten waren absolut top und haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ideal – ruhig und trotzdem alles gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Alles war perfekt organisiert, sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! Communication with the host was very good—always responsive and available when needed. The location was perfect for what we were looking for: calm, serene, and surrounded by nature, offering the perfect winter escape for a workation. The apartment was as described, and we were especially pleased with how warm and cozy it stayed during the winter months, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The views and sunrise from the property were magnificent—such a peaceful setting to relax and unwind. The only downside, is that some of the condo's facilities are showing signs of age and could use a bit of an uplift. During winter, it felt like everything was reduced to a minimum in terms of upkeep, which made certain aspects not optimal, but this is out of the owner's hand. That said, the overall experience was great, and we would definitely recommend this place for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway!

Quel endroit paradisiaque ! La maison est à la fois belle et confortable et l’environnement ressemble à un jardin botanique. Aux alentours des chemins dans les collines permettent de belles balades. Et on est bien placé pour découvrir les coins intéressants de l’Algarve. Surtout Martina et Christoph sont charmants, attentionnés et aux petits soins. Les 2 chiens et les 2 chats sont également très amicaux ! Une bien belle découverte

The aparment was incredibly spacious, really clean and well maintained. It was well equiped with everything for our 5 week stay. The kitchen had all the utentils we needed to create fabulous meals every day. There was lots of storage space and the lounge had books in several languages and games. The apartment is in a very quiet neighbourhood. The location was perfect for walks on the beach and the cliffs. It was also incredibly close to the bars and restaurants at the marina. Our favourite bar was Artesao and the best restaurant is Matilde's. The hosts did everything they could to make our stay go well. They were very helpful and had great suggestions for cultural highlights and markets for local produce. We had a perfect stay. This is now our favourite AirBnB. We will be returning.

Wunderschönes Haus! Sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet! Wir hatten eine tolle Woche und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb von Silves mitten in der Natur. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

To use just one word to describe Jan home: wonderful! If you are looking for a peaceful place, close to nature and away from busy cities then this is your place to stay. It has everything you'll need and perhaps Jan you'll do his best for more if needed. To us, his home was a piece of heaven and it did reminded me of my grandparents place when I was a young and spend the time summer holidays with them. Here you have orange trees and all you have to do is to pick one or two and enjoy them. Oh, I shall not forget Odin (the Cat). He gave us a big welcome in the first day but because we made the mistake not to allow her inside he completly ignored us during the stay. We had the 2nd chance on the last day when he joins us a for a breakfast! :-) Things to mention: you'll need a car (not a low small car but rather a mini SUV perhaps) as it's not close to a bus or train routes. Good Wifi receptions. We will return for sure as there is so much to see around. Thank you Jan for hospitality!

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

Wir haben eine wundervolle Zeit in Jan’s Unterkunft verbracht. Der Garten mit Naturpool sind mit großer Mühe und Sorgfalt angelegt und bereiten ein einzigartiges Erlebnis in ruhiger Natur. Diese Unterkunft ist hervorragend dafür gedacht, einfach mal ein paar Tage die Seele baumeln zu lassen und das schöne Hinterland der Algarve zu erleben. Vielen Dank!

This home is a beautiful farm house in the area - you feel right at home when you arrive and it makes you want to move in. The property is so peaceful, calming and great for kids and outdoor meals. The location is wonderful and right in the middle of all of the beaches in the area. The hosts are incredibly helpful and communicative (the best communication I've encountered with an airbnb) - always there to respond to you if you have questions and help with anything that comes up. The house is also incredibly well equipped for multiple guests and a longer stay - the photos don't reveal just how many dishes, pots and pans, and other supplies the home has. As well, the windows have screens which is a HUGE plus that many airbnbs in the area do not have. If you are there in cooler or wetter weather, the house does get a little bit damp if you are sensitive to that but that is pretty common for most places in the area and the hosts have put things in place to help with it.
