Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus war großartig! Anfangs etwas schwierig zu finden, waren wir umso begeisterter, als wir den erstaunlich tollen Ausblick auf die Bucht von St Ives vom Garten oder auch der Küche und dem Wohnzimmer aus genießen konnten. Die Lage ist in der Tat perfekt - nur 2 Min zu Fuß an eine traumhafte weißsandige Bucht mit tourquisefarbenem Wasser und wenige Minuten mehr in die pittoreske Altstadt von St Ives. Ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert ist ein Dinner im Restaurant des nebenan gelegenen Hotels mit atemberaubender Aussicht über die weit geschwungene Bucht von St Ives bis Hayle und weiter. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das außergewöhnlich großzügige Willkommensgeschenk, welches wir durchweg sehr genossen haben. Vielen Dank dafür 😊Abschliessend zu erwähnen bleibt allerdings, dass es für körperlich eingeschränkte Personen sicherlich besser geeignete Unterkunftsmöglichkeiten gibt. Für uns war jedoch alles perfekt!

We were so lucky to find this at such short notice. Perfect location. (Turns out I came here 40 years ago with my parents). Very quiet and safe. Great for families and easy access to all the great beaches on the north coast. The lodge was virtually brand new and has everything you need for self catering. Everyone on the site was friendly. Nice play area and walks around the site especially with a toddler in tow. Highly recommend and we’ve already talked about coming back….. if they’ll have us. 😬

We had an extremely comfortable and great stay at Christopher's lovely place. It was very spacious, clean and easy to find. The location was peaceful and quiet, yet close to the town and most of the amenities. Hosts were very accommodating and caring. We would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Cornwall.

We had a very nice stay at Verity's accomodation. We arrived late at night but she still greeted us and showed us everything we need. The accomodation is in a very nice and calm location a 5 min drive from the Newquay and Crantock beaches. Overall can only recommend staying here!

A beautiful location with stunning views from the property - we didn't want to close the curtains! Lovely and spacious with two bathrooms. There were 4 of us staying but there's ample space for 6 guests. There is a nice veranda to have a cup of tea in the sun and watch the boats come and go in the harbour. Polruan is a pretty village overlooking the river Fowey, and Fowey across the water, is also great for a day out looking around the shops or taking a walk to St Catherine's Point where there is a lovely little beach and a walk up to the castle. The ferry was frequent and very convenient to use to get across to Fowey. We hired a self drive motorboat to explore the river which was a great afternoon out. Parking is about a 10 min walk away at the top of the village, so be aware of the climb back up the hill to the car at the end of your stay! A very enjoyable stay in a quiet and beautiful setting.

Beautiful, quiet location. Little Ashton was very comfortable, home from home, with outlooks to the countryside and excellent location to Bude and the surrounding coastal towns . Perfect getaway !! The host Robert gave clear instructions on how to locate the property and thank you for the provisions of milk, bread ,jam etc . Much appreciated!

We loved our short stay at Chris’ place. It was in beautiful surroundings near a glorious beach. Chris communicated brilliantly before our stay even though we only booked the night before we arrived! His place was really cosy and safe for our baby to romp around. There’s a handy baby gate at the top of the stairs and lots of books and toys that kept her entertained. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful stay at Swallow Parlour. From the moment we arrived, it was clear our hosts were exceptional – they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Tucked away in a peaceful, quiet area surrounded by countryside, it was the perfect escape to unwind and switch off from the world. The enclosed garden was beautiful and private, a lovely space to sit and enjoy the stillness. Inside, the house had everything you could possibly need – so well thought out and comfortable. The log burner made it extra cosy in the evenings. The thoughtful touches really made it feel special: homemade scones with jam and cream waiting for us on arrival, fresh milk in the fridge, and gorgeous locally made Devon soap bars in the bathroom. It all felt very personal and generous. It’s in a great location too – with scenic walks nearby and just a short drive to the beach. We couldn’t have asked for more. Can’t wait to return!
