This home was perfect for our girls getaway. There was so much room to accommodate all of us. The house was well equipped with everything wee needed. The hosts were great. Our visit was the weekend after Labor day. Many of the local establishments have limited hours after the holiday. Plan accordingly. This did not have an affect on our stay, but did change our daily plans a little.

Lori and her husband Rick were fabulous, My friends and I absolutely loved them! We highly recommend this cute cottage by the lake. The house smelled amazing! No chemicals just a wonderful beautiful scent that made me smile. The warm fire roaring at night while drinking a cup of hot tea and the beautiful view of the lake was a wonderful way to start my healing journey. Everything is neat and labeled for you and she goes above and beyond to really make sure that you are happy. We had quite the snow storm while hunkered in and Rick cleared the walkway, drive way and stopped in to get our trash. They live right next door which was great incase we needed anything but still had complete privacy :) Location is great and you’re not far from stores, restaraunt, etc. I highly recommend, you will feel like you are visiting family.

We had an amazing stay at the Cozy Cottage. Place was exactly as described - great space inside kitted out with everything we needed. Bed was super comfy and the hot tub and sauna were both excellent. Hosts were great - easy to communicate with any helpful with local recommendations. It’s a really private and peaceful getaway - we will be back for sure.

We stayed at Jessica and Peters place for the long weekend. Home was exceptionally clean and they provided anything and everything you could need to feel at home. Kitchen was fully stocked, coffee bar was really nice to have. We were most excited for the hot tub which was easy to use and very well maintained. Hosts are very responsive over messaging, they were kind enough to recommend local restaurants and shops. Overall we really enjoyed our weekend and would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

We had a wonderful time! The house is large and beautifully decorated, lots of space for everyone to feel comfortable. Thank you Flavius for allowing us to enjoy your lovely home!

Charles place was really huge with lots of outdoor activities that can be done. We enjoyed a lot with friends and family. This place is for sure a summer airbnb where you can play outside. Best part was it had all the amenities mentioned in the description, we were able to play snookers, table tennis and other games. Only recommendation would be to carry a Chrome cast/Fire stick to connect to the tv. Charles has setup an amazing TV room but only has cable network. Since it's in a private secluded area, the tap water is a little greasy.

Great place for a relaxing and cozy vibe! Very peaceful, beautiful scenery and the hosts were fantastic to deal with. Would recommend to check out and stay here and would very much love to come back! :)

Stargazer Cottage is an absolute gem! Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the beached, with optimal depth water that made our daily swims unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. They were especially accommodating with our kids, providing plenty of toys and games to keep them entertained. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and boasts an outstanding view that we enjoyed every morning with our coffee. Every detail, from the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen, was perfect. This was a 10 out of 10 experience, and we can't recommend Stargazer Cottage highly enough. If you're looking for a serene yet activity-filled getaway, this is the place to be!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tom's place. It is very comfortable, clean and is an ideal location for Mitchell's Bay! Will definitely be back.

Nice place for a long weekend . was able to walk the beach and check out Lexington and Port Huron, both beautiful beach towns. Hosts were pleasant and helpful even thought their house is beside the cabin they left us to enjoy our weekend ,but checked in on us by text messages.. Firewood was provided and back yard area was beautiful !

Firstly, the cottage was clean, the beds were very comfortable as were the pillows, linens and comforters were great, nice and plentiful towels including beach towels. The bedrooms were a nice size. You do not feel cramped at all in the cottage. There is large backyard with a fire pit which comes with wood to burn. This cottage felt like home in minutes. You walk in, do a wander, and breathe; Yes!! The hosts are on top of everything. Have an issue, send a message. Their response time is very quick. Great hosts. Thanks Jillian an JP. A bonus is the pass to the Pinery which has great sand beaches and wonderful walking trails. Want to eat out try McPhersons. Good home cooking. Grogs is another good place to try. I almost forgot to mention the great neighbours. Thank you..... We hope to return next year. We highly recommend this cottage.

Just spend a very relaxing week at LIana’s lake front cottage. We all had a wonderful vacation. There is a beautiful deck and hot tub to enjoy the views of Lake Erie in the backyard. It also has its own little beach where you can go for a swim everyday to cool off. It is so quiet with the only sound being the breeze coming off the water. Check in was very smooth and LIana was such a wonderful host. Anytime I had a question before and during our stay she got back to me right away. It definitely felt like home away from home and I loved the fact that it was also dog friendly so I could bring my dog with us. My dog had a blast on the beach going swimming everyday. All in all a great experience that I would definitely recommend. Thanks again LIana for everything. We all enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave.

For my first stay in Lexington(crazy to say that), this had everything my family and I needed to make this a memorable weekend!

We had a great stay while in town visiting family! Jessica was very nice and helpful throughout our visit. The house was clean, well-stocked, and conveniently located near food, local attractions, and our relatives. The yard was perfect for our fur baby to enjoy. We’d definitely book again if we’re in the area!

We had a wonderful stay at Sinan’s place! The location was excellent, the space was ample, and it offered great value for money. Communication was seamless, and we truly appreciated being able to bring our dog along. We’d happily stay here again!

very quick to respond. They remembered a promised DVD player was not there, offered to bring one the next day, but ordered one and had it delivered by 0800. Very welcoming home for a winter getaway of 4 friends. seating area nice for movie and Lions game watching. Plenty of VERY HOT water, for 4 showers! Bedrooms all upstairs as is the main bath. canal out the backside. ONLY NEGATIVE is the parking across the road. (the road is JUST beyond the front door) unloading and loading a little challenge, but doable. Definitely a comfortable home and great stay for a friend getaway.

Our stay on the island for my best friends wedding was absolutely wonderful. amazing views from everywhere we went. and Julie was an wonderful host. Quick to respond and incredibly accommodating. The cottage was absolutely perfect and beautiful. I spent each evening and morning out on the deck just enjoying the weather and views and peacefulness of being away from the city.

Our stay at Jane’s place was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we arrived on Easter Friday night, we could feel how much care and attention she put into every detail. The home was immaculately clean—truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in—and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it both cozy and functional. Jane went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our family feel welcome. She even organized a surprise Easter egg hunt for our 6- and 8-year-old kids upon arrival, which absolutely delighted them and made our holiday so special. To top it off, she even left treats for our puppy, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture! Jane was always available and responsive whenever we needed anything, making the whole experience completely seamless. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. We truly couldn’t recommend this stay more highly. Thank you, Jane, for memorable & magical getaway- we’re already looking forward to coming back!

the house was wonderful to stay at and Janice was super responsive and had any issue fixed extremely fast. Felt like a home away from home! definitely will book again.

We really enjoyed our stay the The Stone Cottage. It was close to the town of Lexington, which is a really cute little town. We were in the area for a family get together, so we didn’t explore much. The cottage had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. It has lots of windows, which we really enjoy. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use, and all the appliances were in good shape. The living room had lots of comfortable seating. This place could easily accomodate a family with 2 kids. There as a nice back yard with a fire pit, which we did not use, but looked like fun. We would stay here again.

Great place to spend time with friends and family. Very nice and cozy place for group of 14 people. Host is so nice and friendly, allowed us late check out as well.

What a beautiful place to stay. It was cozy and the view of the lake was absolutely stunning!! Angela responded promptly to every question that we had. We will definitely stay there again!!
