Our holiday at Helen's lakeside property was absolutely fantastic! The location could not have been more perfect, right in front of a serene lake with picture-perfect scenery. The view from the property was breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable stay. The spacious outdoor deck allowed us to fully enjoy the natural beauty around us, whether we were having meals, playing games, or simply soaking in the view. Inside, the house was just as impressive—spacious, immaculate, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that Helen has taken great care in maintaining the property, and it made our family feel right at home. What made this holiday even more special was the fact that it was a multi-generational trip with our children and grandchildren. I had an amazing stay at this beautiful waterfront house! The location is absolutely stunning right by the water and incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Waking up to the calming sounds of nature and the view of the water was truly refreshing. The house itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout my visit, which made the experience even better. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in a serene and scenic spot, I highly recommend this place. I would definitely love to come back again!

We had a great time staying at Catherine’s house with our family of 8 (including one toddler). The house was spacious for us. It was situated in a relaxing spot by the creek and had amenities (supermarket, food, etc) that we needed nearby (5-8 mins drive away). Highly recommend this place for a relaxing visit to Dora Creek!

Great place to stay.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation in a perfect location. It’s like your own private beach oasis right on the doorstep of Blacksmiths Beach and Granny’s Pool. The outdoor dining area was our favourite place to sit and enjoy a quiet breakfast and relax for dinner in complete privacy. The amenities are modern and everything you need - we didn’t want to leave! Easily the best place to stay in Blacksmiths!

We had a great time at Stephen's place! The pool provides great entertainment, the place was immaculate, versatile and convenient and Stephen was very responsive when we had questions. We loved the touch of music in the media room!

This airbnb was spacious, had good views, was clean and was close to shops. Would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place in the area with about 5-8 people to make the most out of the beds. Thank you for your accommodation, Royal!

Chris's place is a magnificent unit, excellently appointed in a all aspects of furnishings, with everything you could possibly neeb in the kitchen, bathroom/laundry. Bedroom was spacious and the Q-bed was very comfortable, the linen was excellent quality, including the bath towels, floor mat and huge spacious shower. The Swansea Heads location is wonderful, great views of the the Swansea chanel and surrounding foreshores of Swansea. Happy wife, happy life and brilliant holiday destination!

Linda is a person with a heart of gold. The kind of experience that defines humanity still exists. Myself and my family migrated from India to Australia and we were not getting a home for rent and that is why we decided to take Linda’s Airbnb. She also gave us a few tips and was also gracious enough to extend our stay until we could sustain ourselves. Mal's place is in a really lovely location overlooking the lake and convenient to ammenities. Its perfectly fitted out for a couple or small family. Mal has thought of everything to make your stay very pleasant. If you are bringing a boat you can just park over the road in the boat ramp car park. Perfect.

A lovely place by the lake: spacious, quiet, homey, and spotless. Accommodations in Lake Macquarie are mostly good quality, Lynne’s place is definitely among those. Highly recommended.

Steve was a wonderful host! The apartment was beautiful and very well located (just a short walk from the beach). Steve was a very accommodating host and met us during our check in to discuss the local area and instructions to get into the apartment. The local area and small businesses were also amazing! I would recommend this stay and would return.

Loved every minute of our stay at Kookaburra Cottage. The cottage was cosy, clean and the grounds around are beautiful. A short walk to Stomp! Wines was ideal and only a short drive to surrounding wineries and restaurants. The night sky from outside the cottage was like something from a postcard. Will definitely recommend Madigan Cottages to others and we will be returning on our next trip from Sydney. Hats off to everyone involved in created the perfectly peaceful oasis in Hunter Valley.

Billabong Cottage was the perfect relaxing getaway we were wanting. It was peaceful, super private with beautiful wineries and restaurants only a short drive away. Oh and the comfy beds were heaven.

What a gem! Our stay at this stunning cottage was faultless. Elizabeth was a fantastic host, great communication, very accommodating, and gave us excellent local tips (Toronto Hotel for dinner and Mizumi for takeaway were both great). We were spoilt with a welcome gift of wine and chocolate Easter bunnies and eggs, such a lovely touch. The cottage was spotless, beds were super comfy with beautiful linen, and the big fluffy towels, bathroom amenities made it feel like a luxury hotel. All the extras were thought of, oils and seasonings for cooking, even washing capsules and stain remover, a lifesaver when traveling with kids! We fished off the jetty daily (caught a Bream, Flathead, Octopus, Crab, Whiting), used the kayaks, and relaxed in the cosy TV room. We enjoyed the fire pit one night too, with wood provided. The cottage is even better than the photos. 100% recommend and hope to return soon!

Amazing holiday house in a beautiful spot, loved the Canadian canoe. Everything so well laid out and comfortable. The most amazingly well kitted out kitchen. You can be active or lie on the couch watching Netflix and the sunset over the lake.. Also having a, little shop and takeaway, Cafe etc in walking distance was a bonus.
