Tipi amenities includes a handmade King bed with a 12" mattress and Dining table & benches, double futon with 8" mattress, whiskey barrel sink, 3.4 cu ft refrigerator, floor A/C unit and 2 space heaters, 3 nightstands, hanging antler chandelier, compost toilet, outhouse, fire pit (Wood bundles can be purchased at either the Ingles grocery store of the Caney Fork general store for approx. $5.99 per bundle), 2 person hammock and outdoor shower and gas grill. Kayaks rent for $30 each for 3-4 hrs.

Tipi with River Access, The Posh Pony

The Posh Pony Tipi is one of 7 unique stays here at Fredrock, a private family owned Glampground. The tipi has 2 queen beds and a large deck for star gazing or drinking your morning coffee. You will have your own private bath house and detached outdoor kitchenette, which includes a charcoal BBQ grill. The Posh Pony has a firepit to gather around and for roasting marshmallows. There are trails throughout the property that lead to the beautiful, crystal clear, spring fed water of 12 Mile Creek.

Great for swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and excellent fishing. We are only 5 minutes from downtown Excelsior Springs, Excelsior Springs Golf Course and 3EX municipal airport. We live on-site and will generally be available throughout your stay should you need or desire.

Wigwam Village No. 2 in Cave City, Kentucky, has offered travelers a place for rest and fellowship since 1937. Located 12 miles from Mammoth Cave, Wigwam Village is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as an example of early 20th-century road travel. Each teepee has the 1937 furniture and graphic bathroom tile. They offer modern amenities of typical motel and surround a grassy area with a retro playground and large fire pit. There is an ice machine and picnic pavilion with grill.

The “Jammer” comes with a queen bed, bathroom with toilet and vanity, a kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, electric burner, sink, and coffee bar. You will also have full use of the luxurious bath house and pavilion. The “Jammer” is one of 9 total rental units on Glamping Retro property, which totals 16 acres. Glamping Retro sits on the TN/NC state line, and backs up to the Pisgah National Forest. The AT is 1.4 miles from us!
