I apologize for the late post, but I wanted to take a moment to share our experience. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at your childhood home for the weekend, and it was truly a wonderful visit. When we first arrived, we had a minor issue with the garage door, but once I reached out, someone quickly came over to fix it. I really appreciate your prompt attention to that. The house had everything we needed, and it was so comforting to feel right at home. We also had the chance to meet Miss Barnes, who was such a sweet, kind, and gentle neighbor. Thank you again for allowing us the opportunity. Clarksdale is my hometown, and I absolutely enjoy coming back. I’ll definitely be reaching out the next time I'm in town!

I liked the home location. My mom is 86 and felt safe. Overall I will definitely recommend this home away from home

Short stay for work, Libby was an amazing host. Will be back if job sends me back to the area.

Gramm's place was perfect for our overnight stay in Clarksdale. It doesn't look like much on the outside but it's a really cool and comfortable space, with a super comfortable king bed, within easy walking distance of Ground Zero, Delta Blues Museum, etc. Don't miss the excellent food and friendly staff at the Blue Cotton Bake Shop, two doors down.

Excellent place in an excellent location. We had a fabulous time and the place is very spacious! The host was excellent with communicating.

Large, comfortable accommodations; friendly and flexible hosts

We were in town for Juke Joint Fest. We were very welcomed by Kevin's laid back friendly demeanor, communication and accommodating a late checkout. He's a local musician and can recommend the best shows or clubs to see live music and specifically blues. Kevin lives in the front house and the back house is the rental. The back bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out in the open living room and kitchen area. Nice travel toiletries and morning coffee pods. The nightly price for this weekend was rather high but we booked last minute and were happy to find a nice place to stay only a five minute drive from downtown Clarksdale on perhaps their biggest weekend, Juke Joint Fest. We highly recommend staying here when visiting such a fun and welcoming town on The Blues Trail.

Lovely stay! Stayed here with family for a wedding weekend and it was perfect for our group!

We enjoyed our time at The Guesthouse; we loved the unit, easy access, parking right by door. Loved the covered porch: sitting there listening to birds, watching the garden grow was delightful. Holly & Amoz were super: greeted us warmly on arrival, Amoz delved into helpful, vetted bike trails to recommend to me. Holly told me about a community art show, then phoned ahead so that many people there welcomed me! We also enjoyed the River Park. The unit was just what we needed for some R&R, well stocked kitchen (including coffee, tea, oils and spices, even pancake mix!) Interesting to learn more about Helena and its history from placards around town as well as the Delta Cultural Center. Helena is a town of historic significance, and in transition, with many beautiful old homes, nice neighborhoods and also pockets of blight, but everyone we met was friendly and we felt safe and welcome. Holly and Amoz are so friendly, responsive, even created a severe weather safety plan with us.
