A home from home, the Bastide is filled with an eclectic mix of personal and functional items that immediately allow you to relax. Beautiful and quiet surroundings. The host could not have been more communicative, instructive and friendly. She is relaxed and informative, very welcoming but not at all intrusive. We appreciated all the small touches during our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour entre amis ! Audrey et Michel sont des hôtes très accueillants et sympathiques. Ils ont pris le temps de nous expliquer et de nous faire visiter la maison à notre arrivée. Le cottage est très beau, très propre et fonctionnel. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour les enfants, l’environnement est très paisible et en pleine nature. De plus, la région est vraiment très belle. Nous reviendrons :)

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Super accueil de Patrick et son épouse. La maison est grande chacun a son espace. La vue est superbe et il y a tout ce qu’il faut sur place pour profiter (pétanque, billard, jacuzzi). Les lits sont confortables et ils sont faits à l’arrivée c’est très agréable. On a déjà prévu de revenir pour une escapade bucolique

Absolutely lovely location, just like described and in the photos.There was the two of us and a dog and we all loved our 10 nights at ‘Le Petite Grange’.There is everything you need for a great time, super little pool, ample big enough ,nice decking area and veranda, the views are just stunning.We used the bbq two nights and just sat and enjoyed the peace and tranquillity.A 5 minute walk to the village of Monpazier with its very nice square or our favourite bar ‘Biere de la Bastide’ with their locally brewed ales and great burgers. Ideally location for visiting other local towns and villages which we did plenty of. All in all a wonderful holiday, even the rain in the last couple of days did not put a dampener on things. The host Steve was very quick at getting back to us when we had questions and Phil who looked after the pool was very friendly and shared great advice on things to do and places to visit.

We really enjoyed our stay here! 4 adults and 3 children aged 10-14. The villa is amazing with everything you could possibly need. It has been renovated to a very high standard which blends the modern and the traditional seamlessly. Beautiful views, quiet location, lovely pool. We really could not fault it. We have hired many villas and apartments over the years and this one is at the top level. All made better by the host (Elodie) responding to any issues almost immediately and the lovely sunshine we had all week! You will not regret booking this property!

Excellent séjour dans ce domaine incroyable avec une vue magnifique, un calme apaisant et de nombreuses activités possibles. Nos deux chiens ont été accueillis avec plaisir et ont été les plus heureux avec tout ce terrain loin des routes. Les hôtes ont été très accueillants et très agréables. Les instructions étaient claires. Nous recommandons ce lieu!!

Nous étions deux couples pour partager cette charmante maison de campagne. Malgré la pluie et la température fraîche, nous avons pu relaxer dans un intérieur confortable et bien réchauffé par le poêle au bois. En plus de bénéficier d'une vue à couper le souffle sur le village, le spectacle des animaux déambulant librement dans leurs espaces respectifs était des plus enchanteur. Sofie et Irm sont des hôtes accueillantes ayant le souci de notre confort. Un merci particulier pour nous avoir offert les oeufs de leurs poules !

Arrivée à deux couples avec 2 ados, la maison disposait d'espaces très spacieux. Nous avons de suite pris nos marques. Notre hôte était très sympathique et de bons conseils. Notre acceuil s'est fait en plus avec un cadeau de bienvenue très agréable à vous de le découvrir... Nous avons passé un super séjour. La région est magnifique. Nous recommandons cet Airbnb.

Magnifique logis au coeur d'un environnement propice au calme et au repos. L'endroit est idéalement situé pour découvrir la région avec de nombreuses activités aux alentours (gastronomie, patrimoine, activités sportives). Paulette et Martin sont des hôtes très accueillants et d'une grande discrétion, très à l'écoute de leurs occupants. La maison est absolument conforme aux photos et aux services indiqués, c'est un véritable petit joyau, nous avons adoré notre séjour.

Can’t rate this place highly enough! It is the most wonderful place; blissful and beautiful views all so calm and perfect setting. The house is immaculate very clean with lovely interiors, comfortable beds and lovely bedding. If you are looking for a fantastic place that you don’t want to leave this could be it; just perfect. Jean-Xavier is lovely and extremely helpful.

We had a wonderful stay with our two dogs. Ben made us very welcome, greeting us on arrival and showed us around the property explaining where everything was. The gardens were large and safe and secure for the dogs to roam. We also loved using the private smaller garden attached to the cottage for relaxation. The pool area was well kept and looked inviting but it was too cold to use. The location was very rural and peaceful with a short drive needed to visit boulangerie and restaurants. Ben provided a very detailed information pack with super recommendations for eating out and takeaway pizza. We used one of Ben's canoes to explore the Dordogne and he helpfully drove us to the start and picked us up afterwards. The house was perfect with everything provided and a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Some care was needed to access the upstairs bedroom due to limited headroom on the stairs. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay.

An excellent location to explore everything the Dordogne region has to offer. I couldn't recommend Elizabeth's establishment highly enough. I will certainly be making a return visit.

Merci pour cet agréable séjour dans une région riche en découvertes. Le logement était parfait, très agréable malgré la canicule. Nous avons pu profiter et de la fraîcheur de la maison et de l’extérieur avec cette terrasse parfaitement protégée par un magnifique arbre et offrant une superbe vue sur la campagne environnante. « Calme » fût le maître mot de notre séjour Merci ! ☺️

Très agréable et bel hébergement au calme. Ambiance chaleureuse même si je ne suis resté qu’une nuit.

Het verblijf van Thierry was geweldig. Als je rust in de natuur zoekt is dit de juiste plek. De accomodatie heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. De koffiebonen machine was heerlijk! Op de warme dagen maakten we dankbaar gebruik van het mooie zwembad. Enige aanmerking die we zouden hebben is dat 1 van de bedden toe is aan een nieuwe matras, wij hebben het opgelost met extra dekens. De andere bedden lagen heerlijk! Thierry was een fijne host en de communicatie was goed. We zouden deze accomodatie voor iedereen aanraden.

Ein Garten wie ein Park! Beide Häuser (Haupthaus und Bergerie) wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war sehr schön, dass wir persönlich von einer Freundin von Aude empfangen und eingewiesen wurden. Die Freundin war vor Ort jeder Zeit erreichbar. Sehr freundlicher und persönlicher Kontakt.

Tara and Carl’s place is set in the most stunning peaceful countryside. We had the most beautiful view of their land to wake up to after a very comfortable nights sleep. Carl was incredibly friendly, taking his time to show us around the grounds and making sure we had everything we needed. Tara was incredibly responsive to any questions we had including coming back to us at lighting speed to accommodate our very last minute visit. So happy we stumbled upon their beautiful set up and attentive hospitality. Thank you

We have just spent a very relaxing 2 weeks at Naomi's lovely gite. The property itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed; we especially liked the covered terrace off the kitchen and the pool area. The gite is in a very peaceful, secluded location but within easy reach of plenty of picturesque bastide towns. The closest, Villeréal, is only a 10 minute drive away and has plenty of cafes, restaurants and food shops as well as weekly markets and evening food markets - it was really lovely. Naomi and her family are fantastic hosts - very welcoming, helpful and friendly. A great holIday let!

we stayed at the Gite for 15 days. Inga & Marco were very welcoming & attentive throughout our stay. The accommodation was spacious & met all our needs for our stay. We had access to a lovely pool on one side. At front we had a patio which was lovely for our lunch & dinner. it is very private & secluded. The gite is in a great location with beautiful villages nearby. Inga & Marco were fabulous hosts, so helpful. We would recommend this gite

Wir waren zu dritt da, mit einem Kleinkind, und es war perfekt um abzuschalten. Das Haus ist wunderschön und idyllisch gelegen. Der Pool und die Unterkunft waren sauber, die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber wohnen gleich nebenan, man fühlt sich willkommen und wie zuhause. Sie brauchen aber zwingend ein Auto, Sie befinden sich an einem abgelegenen Ort. Einziger Makel: Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist eher alt und in die Jahre gekommen. Danke für die wunderschöne Woche.
