Beautiful house and location. Tracey was an amazing host and we appreciate her letting us stay! Would definitely visit and stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain house. The views are amazing, and Berit did a great job giving very clear instructions on how to navigate the mountain on the way up. She made sure ahead of time that we had vehicles suitable for the drive which was very appreciated. She checked in with us throughout the weekend just to make sure there was nothing we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels/blankets available, and overall was just a wonderful stay. There is a winery, Chateau Morrisette, which was only about 15 minutes away that was really fun to visit, and Floyd is a very cute, friendly town. I would definitely stay here again. Staying at the White House was a great experience. David was very helpful with finding local restaurants and he was an overall cool person to meet. I highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet getaway!

This was the perfect little spot for our weekend. Close to the Parkway and several places to eat from fancy to low key within a few minutes. This is an older home that made me feel like I was at grandmas. I kept waiting to find something wrong but in the end will be going back for sure.

Great place to hide away for a few days....quiet and private. Good location as far as getting to near towns of Floyd and Stuart. Comfortable house.

The views were spectacular, woke up at 6am one morning and you could hear the cows mooing about 3000 ft. down in the valley...very comfortable house...the one negative was no room darkening curtains and I am very light sensitive...we really didn't want to leave!!!...and Mt. Airy NC about 23 minutes away(Andy Griffithsbirthplace) was a step back in time...you feel like you're in Mayberry!......

10/10! A beautiful, spacious country cottage surrounded by plenty of nature. Loved the set up of the house. Clean with clear signs of fine craftmanship and intention, making a cozy home feel. Spent lots of time exploring the area with my pup, hiking and visiting local shops. Would definitely recommend for those looking to get some quiet time and solitude amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains. The apartment is very comfortable and cozy feeling. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with anything we might need. Very nice outdoor sitting and eating area as well. We had such a relaxing time!

Nice, quiet location. Easy walk to downtown and the Floyd Country Store. Apartment had everything we needed in the bathroom and kitchen. Even spare toothbrushes and toothpaste! Would definitely stay here again.

The mill was a perfect place for us. We love history and the setting was beautiful. For such an old structure we found it to be warm,cozy, beautiful and very comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows were wonderful. We enjoyed taking our E bikes out even at 43*! Very scenic and little to no traffic on the road. Such a gem! Many thanks to the hosts for creating a lovely getaway and sharing it with the rest of us!

Great host, very friendly and helpful. I stayed here for a month was cleaned while staying there. No complaints would recommend.

We can’t say enough nice things about our stay. A definite gem of a find. Walkable to downtown, and a beautiful porch to relax on after a walk. The snacks provided were a nice touch. Plenty of coffee pods as well. Very clean and well maintained historic home. We will definitely return when we come back for more concerts at the Harvester.

This apartment was perfect for our midweek getaway. It is very well maintained and looks brand new inside. Conveniently located right in the center of downtown Floyd and east walking distance to everything. Bed was super comfy and we got a great night’s sleep. Kitchen is well stocked too. Pet friendly too which was great and our pup gave it two paws up too! 🐾. Check out the great plant store next door, Lichen or Not, for some great plants to take back home with you and Outer Space was great for a lunch spot. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

Our quick escape before picking our son up from NC State was relaxing and so enjoyable. Spent a lot of time out on the lake. Temperatures were warmer than the usual April weather, we both have great tans to prove it! We were very comfortable at your place. Perfectly located off of Scruggs gave us the ability to get to our favorite restaurants (Napolis is the best and only a quick walk away). New to us was Black water cafe, totally awesome! We will go there again when we return. We were able to spend time with family that have recently moved to the lake. Our little escape has re energized us, filled our hearts with joy and great memories on the lake. Your place had everything we needed. We were very comfortable. We enjoyed the decor, the layout, everything about your little slice of heaven on the lake. Who could ask for anything more. Thank you sincerely.

We had a great time staying here! The view of the lake right outside the window was amazing. It was too cold to get in the lake but the heated outdoor pool right next to the condo was perfect! The condo itself was clean, easy to access, and had everything we needed for a weekend away. We will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I had a spectacular time during our stay! The place was cozy and utterly peaceful. Along with the breathtaking view of the lake, as chefs we enjoyed the great kitchen lol. Katie is super responsive and even allowed us to come back and look for my husband’s wedding band. Thank God we found it. I cannot wait to come back. I think we found our SML vacation spot forever lol. 10/10 recommend to others.

There were more steps than I anticipated. We are both seniors and it was hard getting our luggage to the condo. But once there it was perfect. You can get sunrise pics but no sunset. The condo was just perfect. Everything needed was there. I would recommend to others.
