George was a wonderful host. He let us check in a little early with our dogs and came right over when the hot water wasn’t working due to an air bubble and checked back in to be sure it was working. We only stayed one night while visiting our daughter at Penn State. Very clean, close to the campus and lots to do in the area. We will be back. Thanks George

Our stay was fabulous. The house was well maintained with more extras that we could have ever asked for. There were snacks, a coffee and cocoa bar, and my favorite…all the soft cuddly blankets you could ever want! The girls absolutely loved the game room and got up early just to have time to play before we had to leave. Everything was great!

I had an amazing time. Stunning natural beauty all around, and very few people! Raystown Lake is 30-40 minutes away, unlike anything I've seen in PA. Great kayaking. Also bikeable to Greenwood Furnace State Park which has a decent swimming area and lots of hikes to get lost in. The area is very PA Dutch, and has several cool cultural sites to check out. Isett Herritage Museum was worth the $12. The school house itself is super relaxing. The loft area is nice for reading or playing guitar. I definitely plan to go back. Only issue I noticed was the internet is pretty weak. Don't expect to stream movies. I never got more than 1.5Mbps.

In the region for business, we really enjoyed our stay at Sonya’s place. It was exactly as pictured, incredibly clean, and met all our needs. We were delighted to find fresh (and delicious!) homemade cinnamon rolls waiting for us upon our arrival. We will definitely stay here again if we’re ever fortunate enough to be back in the area!

Our host Lisa was fantastic, as far as Airbnb hosts go, she was at top of both professionalism and welcoming. Immaculate house and equipped with all the extras down to ice cream from the local creamery. While our football team we came to Pennsylvania to see did not win and the temperatures were frigid to say the least, basking in the warmth of these folks’ hearths and hearts, I couldn't imagine a better fate than a long and lustrous winter in this beautiful home.

Our stay at Robin’s Boone Mtn home was great! We instantly felt right at home and comfortable. She supplied us with a case of bottled water and a variety of K-cups which made us feel very welcomed! The home was spotless and very comfortable. A great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors and sightings of local wildlife…we had visits from lots of whitetail deer, turkeys, and nightly serenades from barred owls. Robin provided brochures and info about area activities and places to explore. Her instructions with directions to the place and how to get into the home were spot on and very helpful! The home was stocked with anything you could need. We were visiting to go to the Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous in Ridgway and were not disappointed. Awesome event! We also thoroughly enjoyed a meal at the Brew Bank and tastings from several local breweries, wineries, and distilleries. So much to do, so little time!

Pamela and George's place is just as advertised - an incredibly cute Georgian/Victorian bed and breakfast. Although they have suspended their breakfast service, they very generously provided a modest stipend to have breakfast at nearby local cafe. George gave my fiancé and I a tour of the home, and I would recommend both their hospitality and beautiful bed and breakfast to anyone!

Christina’s place was cozy and spotless. The apartment was well stocked with plenty of linens and towels. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We were very happy with our stay.

We have stayed here twice and love how close to PSU it is. Quiet, clean and all the amenities you need including a real drip coffee maker, snacks, and nice towels and sheets. I love the real cotton sheets and quality bedding when so many other places use microfiber, a small detail that is super important to me. We will be staying here anytime we visit State College!

Great location, close to stadium and downtown. We arrive late which made it a bit tricky finding the house, but Dasha was very responsive and helped us locate it quickly. Easy, flexible keypad check-in with private entrance. Great space with lots of room and full kitchen. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely night in a two bedroom suite where my Mother and I could have our separate space while sending my niece off to college in Altoona. Accommodations were comfortable, breakfast was delicious and our hosts positively delightful.

Exactly as it was listed! There were so many food options (not only breakfast foods) that were included which was perfect for my young kids when they were randomly hungry. It almost felt like being at home. Will definitely rebook for this place when we come back to visit for another family reunion in the area!

Perfect stay in Millheim! Cosy and right on Main Street. Would definitely come back!!

This BnB is the ground floor of a modern ranch home in a pastoral setting between two small farm towns. There are three generous bedrooms each with a private bath. There is a comfortable common sitting area, a spotless kitchen, and a dining area. There is even a picnic table out back beside a small stream for nicer days. We loved the large well lit sign at the roadside because many BnBs have been hard to find. If you walk up the road away from the house lights on a clear night you will have a wonderful view of the stars. Breakfast, which included bacon, eggs, and muffins was waiting for us in a warming oven first thing in the morning. There was also a wide spread of breakfast bars, including the iconic Pop Tarts, and a choice of fresh fruit. there was the ubiquitous Keurig coffee maker and a wide selection of coffees, teas, and fresh fruit juice. We would definitely stay again.

Jyoti was a very friendly and considerate host, and she served a delicious and healthy breakfast. We appreciated her flexibility in scheduling breakfast, and the instructions she texted us before our arrival were very helpful.

Sandy and her husband were so pleasant, personable, and knowledgeable of the whole area. Their house was private and clean and we didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. The Oak Room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. We had so much in common, so it was a perfect fit. I would definitely recommend this private, peaceful space.

We had a great stay! Joy and Rob were excellent hosts. Breakfast each morning was delicious. We felt so welcomed as did our dog, who is pretty anxious and barked a few times at the hosts, but they were nothing but kind. Would definitely stay again!

John’s place was gorgeous. He’s very responsive to any needs or questions. After a long day of fly fishing on some of PA’s best waters, it was so nice to come home to a place so clean and comfortable. Trust me, you’ll love his place. Peace and quiet!

Allegheny Street BnB was the perfect selection for our introduction to the Altoona/Hollidaysburg area. Our stay there epitomizes the reasons we prefer bnb experiences when traveling. We especially appreciate opportunities to interact with the hosts and other guests. The hospitality here is genuine and unparalleled. One highlight was an unexpected invitation to a family celebration. Even the free transportation to and from the Amtrak station, provided by Richard, afforded opportunities for enlightening conversation. Jyoti's ability to multi-task while remaining ever gracious and personable is rare. Together, they make a team other hosts could emulate.
