Like myself, I'm sure many people book this for the history and legacy of Yogi Berra and the New York Yankees but the hosts, Mary and Jay are equally important. They are the most wonderful, down-to-earth people. Mary is Yogi's niece so hearing stories about Uncle Yogi was amazing! The house is immaculate and welcoming with Yogi memorabilia. Mary and Jay drove us around the neighborhood on their golf cart to see where Yogi played ball and the wonderful neighborhood called The Hill. As we drove around, folks in their front yards waved hello to Mary. It was a step back in time where neighbors all know and look out for each other. It is a wonderful area with Italian bakeries and restaurants, all within walking distance of the house. Breakfast was ready for us in the mornings (Jay makes a mean breakfast). Even if you're not a Yogi and Yankees fan, you should consider staying here because of the location and the wonderful hosts.

We only stayed one night, but this was an amazing find. We were nothing but thrilled with our stay, the place is exactly as described and has such a nice layout. If we need to stay in St. Louis in the future, we will definitely consider seeing if one of the rooms at this BnB are available.

A beautiful location with super comfy bed and roomy shower. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was yummy. The only issue was the noisy upstairs floors.

Had a wonderful stay. Great place for a relaxing weekend. Close to some very scenic hiking spots with some trails on propery. The place is absolutely beautiful and well taken care of with abundant wildlife in the area. Karon and her husband are very kind and respond quickly to any questions or concerns. The room was spacious and very clean with all the comforts of home. They though of all the little extras to make your stay the best it can be. I definitely recomend staying here. The fresh baked bread was such a special treat. We loved it here. Great venue to have your wedding, birthday or any special occasion too.

Peaceful stop on a cross country trip for work. We were able to park our 16 foot box truck across from the barn. Martha was proactive in giving directions to get inside, as we were arriving later than initially planned. She had breakfast in the refrigerator for us, and even accomadated my vegan coworker. We were unfortunately unable to meet her, but did meet her son, daughter in law and husband. They were great and her husband showed us around the farm, and we got to see the baby cows. They were the cutest. She also has a dog named Max who greeter me in the morning with a toy. The airbnb is very private and quiet. Would definitely recommend.

amazing visit! Checking in was super easy and the room was more then advertised. very friendly and cozy. was greeted with genuine smile. it's the perfect place to stay when visiting. super close walking distance from local downtown shops and restaurants

TL;DR: we had a great stay, even if we brought the rain with us. We booked Larry’s pink room for a quick mother-daughter weekend adventure, and it was the perfect fit for us. Strong marks for convenience, price, and comfort (just make sure you can parallel park, that’s 90% of your options in STL). The pink room has a lovely firm mattress (Queen) and good closet space. There’s a small couch by the window which was great for reading when we needed a break from exploring the city. Larry keeps a small fridge in the room with some complementary beverages, plus a triple USB port for easy charging of your devices. Lots of windows if you’re luckier than we were and actually see the sun on your visit. The pink room uses a shared bathroom, which was perfectly fine for us. Larry had lots of great suggestions for local activities/food, and breakfast helped us fuel up for our day! Day one was a full English style breakfast, day two was a lovely veggie frittata and waffles! Would stay again!

Charlene and Roger are amazing humans who have a lovely home and a welcoming nature. They went above and beyond for a stranger in ways that restored my faith in humanity. Their home is a mix of old and new with lovely hardwood floors. Emmie and I not only enjoyed our stay there, we loved the breakfast Charlene and Roger provided. You won't regret staying here, enjoying their serene surroundings, and sampling Charlene's amazing cooking. We will stay here any chance we get!

Absolutely gorgeous view! Yes, the room and furniture were older, but everything was very clean and in good working order. Kristen and her family were friendly. We loved being able to go to the lodge and pick out a movie to watch after it grew too dark to look at the view. Breakfast in the lodge was delicious - Kristen had fruit and banana bread ready for us and cooked up sausage and pancakes. There was coffee and juice - it was anice start to our day. Definitely get up early enoughto watch the sunrise!

“Rooms on Cherry” is a popular spot, so glad we were able to snag a weekend during Kappa Sig Moms Weekend! The four bedrooms and common area was perfect for us five moms. Several coffee shops, restaurants and night life attractions were close by so we walked everywhere. Linda has each room decorated beautifully and everything was clean. She had purified water, coffee pods to get us started, tea, half/half, muffins, bagels and cream cheese. Great time, great place!

Enjoyed our one night stay. Short and sweet . Jason is a good host, answering right away. lots of amenities.

Very much enjoyed the novelty, comfort, and serenity of this farm home. Very quiet, peaceful, homey and comfy with lots of amenities, including fresh homemade bread and (if the hens are not on strike) fresh farm eggs. Hosts are A+ in responsiveness and proactive with communication (an 8” snowfall came just 3 days before our arrival, and we received timely and helpful status reports about road conditions). Were in town for a February wedding this time but would love to return in the summer or fall!

This house has incredible character and everything we needed to have a great stay.

Our stay with Erich and Amy was nothing short of delightful in every way. From our delayed arrival, clear instructions to access the property, parking, delicious coffee, restaurant recommendations and more, we were pleasantly pleased with every aspect of our stay.

We so enjoyed Denise and David, as they were extremely friendly and helpful. They made us feel like family, we shared some great stories of our individual travels, and we had a lot of laughs. The room was clean and comfortable, and her biscuits and gravy were awesome!!! We would recommend staying with them to anyone.

We loved our stay at the 3 Rivers. The rooms were well kept and it was a delight to roam around the house. It was like staying in a museum. We hope to stay again in the near future. Charles was very responsive to our needs.

Leah was such a special host that made us feel at ease and served us graciously. I enjoyed getting to know her and she also gave us space and the downtime we needed. Her homemade tea and cake and breakfast spread were amazing!!!

This place had it all!! Ron and Steven were so accommodating and made themselves available for anything I needed. Hot tub was private, hot and clean. Carriage house is secluded and a 12/10. They even left delicious Blueberry muffins in the kitchen area for our enjoyment. Super super clean, that was nice! They also had invited us to write postcards, with the Carriage House letterhead, so we could send to our loved ones.... they put postage on the envelope and mailed them as well. Just the best of three best at The Carriage House! I cannot wait to come back in the Spring/Summer to hit Kansas Crossing Casino (4 mi away) and enjoy their beautiful patio when all plants are outside and thriving weather is warm. You would be missing out to not book this place, for real. Just a wonderful getaway, thanks guys ❤️❤️😎

Really beautiful place, feels both authentic and updated. We had trouble at one point getting in, and Jonas fixed the problem immediately. We went to the magic show down the street--we recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage room. There was so much space and the beds were very comfortable. I will be booking here again next year when my jeep group does our annual fall colors run in Eminence.
