Our property has an inverter, which makes loadshedding less of a problem. Secure parking on the property. This lovingly restored cottage, built in 1878, is nestled on the Coetzee family’s 4th generation working ostrich farm in the small Karoo valley of Kandelaarsrivier. Huis Kandelabra is just outside Oudtshoorn on the main route to Mossel Bay. The surroundings of Karoo koppies, the Kandelaars River, neighbouring farmlands, ostrich camps and views of the Swartberg and Outeniqua Mountain Ranges all add to this stylish, yet quaint cottage’s unmistakable charm.
