Two of us, plus our two dogs, had the Noddle to ourselves so we had plenty of room. It was exactly as described. Had everything you needed plus very comfy bed. It was lovely to have the fire going and also to sit in the conservatory which was so toasty. I even had a go at sketching and playing the piano! Emilys tea room is such an easy walk and we had a delicious supper with her plus coffee the morning we checked out. Thank you Tony.

The accommodation was perfect for us. A short walk to centre of Kirkwall. The house was very comfortable and spacious and worked very well for three couples. It was one of the best resourced Airbnbs we have have stayed in. We wanted for nothing during our stay. Our host Simon was incredibly helpful ( especially as the couples we arrived at different times ) and his attention to detail was apparent in all aspects of our stay and helped make for a very memorable holiday . Highly recommended.

Excellent cosy home to stay in. Walkable to all amenities and sites in town. Nice and quiet, would highly recommend.

Brian's place in Tankerness was just great and Brian was a great host who answered questions quickly. Very beautiful view out the back windows and very peaceful location. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for lounging. Easy drive to Kirkwall. If you are very lucky the local farm cat will come and intoduce himself. He is a charmer. If we are ever lucky enough to visit Orkney again we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Valkyrie.

The house was spacious, really well stocked and in a great location. Lizzy communicated really well and made the whole stay very easy We had a fantastic two weeks there. The garden is a good size but for anyone bringing pets it is not secure.

Beautifully located, perfectly equipped holiday house with the most stunning views of Birsay and all the way up to Westray. Vanessa is a great host - easy to communicate with, thoughtful and responsive. We all loved our stay in Norvald and hope to be back.

The most incredible property with a wonderful, genuine host who went above and beyond. We couldn't have asked more from our perfect stay and nothing was too much hassle. Would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of an Orkney escape

Norman and Maria’s home was perfect! It was the cleanest and most organized/tidiest home we have ever stayed in. It was not in the city centre. We had a car and could very conveniently park in front of the house. It was a 3 minute drive to a Tesco grocery store, and we parked in the long stay parking lot beside Tesco to do our touring of Kirkwall. We ( two couples) had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed Orkney.

Beautiful location for this fantastic flat with views over the harbour and over to Hoy. The additional outdoor space to relax is very welcome and compliments the comfort of the interior. Yuka was a tremendously helpful host but completely unobtrusive meaning the stay felt very private. Outside lights and railings on external stairs provided safety at night. Would highly recommend.

Angela was really helpful before we arrived as we had some access needs and she and Pat went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. The apartment was immaculate and comfortable with every kitchen gadget you could ever want The entire place was very well equipped and there were some lovely food treats as extras plus cereal, milk, tea and coffee etc. The shower was lovely and the beds very comfortable. Instructions were easy to follow and Pat was absolutely lovely. A joy to speak to and made us feel very at home. She let us check out late and check in early which was really appreciated. She went above and beyond to make sure all was ok for us. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it in a heartbeat. The best air BnB I've stayed in and I hope we can stay again in the future. My friend wanted to move in! Thank you so much for everything.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Orphir. The place was absolutely impeccable—spotlessly clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything needed for cooking, cleaning, and beyond. It was clear that great care had been taken to ensure guests feel comfortable. Louise, the host, was welcoming and proactive, making the check-in process seamless and ensuring I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Orphir is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway, but a car is recommended for reaching supermarkets or larger towns. The apartment is ideal for families of four and feels like a luxurious treat for singles or couples. Highly recommended.

The flat is a little gem with lots of little added things to make it pretty: pictures, photos, nice curtains etc. When we arrived the electric fire and classic FM were on. A special touch. Super quiet. The view is amazing and it is only 10 minutes walk to Stromness. Super easy to access by car and then travel into the island. Highly recommend.

A great location close to the ferry terminal which was ideal! Very picturesque location with amazing views over the bay and a couple of shops and restaurant in walking distance. The flat was exactly as expected from the description and was perfect for us 🙂

A beautiful apartment well kitted out and absolutely spotless. Some saucepan lids would have helped but otherwise excellent. The apartment is well placed in the centre of Kirkwall with a long-stay car park nearby. Kerry and Tara are excellent hosts, helpful and very quick to respond to any queries. We would highly recommend this apartment for an Orkney holiday.

Fantastic! I’ve stayed in a lot of different types of accommodation over the years but this was the best. Immaculate in every way and very thoughtfully presented. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or go back to this property. Ten minute walk to the town centre. Friendly host next door but didn’t intrude. You won’t be disappointed!

We had a great stay at Leona's apartment. It was warm, spacious and well equipped. Leona contacted to ensure she would be there to welcome us when we arrived and responded quickly to queries. The location is great for accessing beaches, cliff walks, neolithic sites, Stromness and Kirkwall. Loch view was tops.

Great apartment. Very clean and well appointed. Great location in that you were very close to everything the only downside was that on the Saturday night the noise from the young folk waiting for taxis was horrendous. Between 12-2 am none of us could sleep and that was with the windows shut and earplugs in . But for the noise on the Saturday night I would have scored higher.

We loved staying in Jenny's place. She was a fantastic host, really responsive and going above and beyond to accommodate our needs and help us with everything we might need. The place itself was beautifully decorated, extremely well-equipped and in an excellent location to walk into Kirkwall and explore the rest of Orkney. Would 100% recommend this Air BnB - one of the best stays ever :)

Great location in central Kirkwall but the street outside can be busy and noisy on weekend evenings, fine if you keep the windows closed but we found it a bit stuffy so liked to have them open when we were in. Had everything we could need for our 3 night stay and a very comfortable bed!

Great home base for a stay on Orkney! Very convenient location, especially for an early morning ferry departure. Short walk to a good grocery store and souvenir shops. Lovely decor and lots of amenities. (It was extra helpful to have a washer & dryer!). Rachael was very communicative and kind as well. Thanks so much!
