We had a lovely Easter weekend here as a three-generation family – grandparents, parents, and young children all thoroughly enjoyed it! The house is absolutely beautiful , stylish, and full of character, set in a peaceful spot, it even includes an old water-mill. The location was ideal for us with easy access to Oxford and the surrounding area. There’s a new children's play area just a short walk away, and the local farm shop nearby was perfect for picking up fresh produce and treats – we had everything we needed without having to go far. The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and the house was spotless with everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of space for everyone to relax.

I had an amazing stay at this place! The space was incredibly clean and well-maintained, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The house was also very spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The pictures just don’t do it justice. Swimming pool and Sauna was a nice touch for sure and definitely made use of it. John was responsive and helpful, making the entire experience seamless. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

Lauren was great from the very start, her communication was great and made sure we felt very at home. Place was very clean, very comfy bed and the shower was lovely too. The place had everything we could have thought of and was very well equipped. Perfect for the dog as the whole outside is gated and gives the dog enough space to have a walk around. Patricia's home is lovely, warm and cozy. We booked at the last minute so that our family could spend Christmas together. We appreciated the lovely welcome and provision of staples like milk, butter, tea, coffee, juice and also crusty bread. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner with ease. Patricia had even gone to the trouble to decorate her home for Christmas for us, which was very special. We all enjoyed our time together there. It is a bonus to have a full bathroom and an extra toilet for a family, too. The setting in the park is peaceful and welcoming and there are nice walks around the woods and lakes; our dog loved it, too. This is a wonderful place to stay in every way and Patricia is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Thank you!

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. Although not Sians issue, construction near the train station makes it difficult to get into town by taxi because you have to go around the city. However, if you don’t mind walking and bicycling, there are exceptional bike and walking paths right out to the house from Oxford. I’d stay again in a heart beat.

Veronica and husband were great when i arrived for check in and then on hand if needed (which was hardly needed) gave me an excellent recommendation for a local walk which was brilliant. accomodation had so much character and was perfect for what we wanted it for.

Lou and Aulden are great hosts, very welcoming and helpful. The setting is picture perfect beautiful, surrounded by fields of sheep and horses, the cottage is very clean and comfortable. The swim in the pool was the cherry on the cake. Highly recommended.

A great cottage in the heart of Woodstock. Beautifully decorated with interesting (antique) furniture, pristine kitchen and bathroom and comfortable bedrooms. The central location makes it easy to access the town's great selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants, whilst the double glazing means that it is still very quiet.

Great stay, host was very welcoming and dropped off bread and milk for us. Location was great with a 6 minute cab ride into town. House was great and the decor was beautiful. We had a great stay! However was quite difficult checking in as once we reached the location we had no signal to open messages with check in codes

Can't fault the hosts, they were among some of the most helpful and responsive. The house was very clean but two areas that require attention are the shower hoses and a few cobwebs. Other than that, squeaky clean. A bit sparsely furnished, some warmer home touches are recommended, and the bathrooms need some hooks/rails to hang your towels. However it had everything you need including an iron and proper ironing table, cooking utensils, salt, pepper, cooking oil, spices, tea, coffee sachets, milk sachets etc. If you park your car in the 1st allocated bay prepare to clean the bird poo off every day as it is under a tree! Heating took some getting used to but eventually worked. Beds were on the softer side but comfortable nonetheless. I would recommend this place to stay particularly if you have a larger paying group as it is a bit dear per night. Right in the centre of Bicester so close to many amenities and attractions in the wider surrounding area.

My family and I had a wonderful time, the house was spotless and just as advertised. We appreciated the little welcoming touches and having a back garden to chill in. Michael was very responsive and we felt right at home.

The cottage is peaceful and private, as well as being in a beautiful location. Alastair and Vicky are excellent hosts and were most responsive to my requests. Highly recommended.

We spent 50 days at Fulwell House during January and February and had a fantastic stay. The house is full of character, with thick stone walls, exposed beams, and a bright, modern kitchen that became our favorite space. It felt warm, welcoming, and just right for a longer visit. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and incredibly peaceful. We saw deer, foxes, badgers, pheasants, and a variety of songbirds every day—robins, wrens, finches, and more. Living abroad, it was a real treat to see so much wildlife. We fished the stream behind the house a few times (no luck!) and enjoyed miles of walks on quiet lanes. The kids and dogs were in heaven. Evenings were spent by the fire with a book or film, often with visiting friends and family. There was plenty of space for everyone. Yola was a brilliant host—friendly and responsive—and Edward, the owner, was always available if anything came up. Their support made everything easy. We’d absolutely stay again if the opportunity arises.

Perfect for our little family, wish we could have stayed longer. Jack was really pleasant and friendly. The house is lovely, very comfortable and warm and added bonus of having a few games available too so with the table football, pacman , board games, puzzles and garden we were well entertained for the short times we were in. (They have tv too)
