Thoroughly enjoyed our stay- lovely historical home, beautifully decorated. Excellent location- either walked or took the trolley/metro everywhere! Off street parking was a bonus esp for Old Town. We appreciated coming back every night to relax after a full day of sightseeing!

The place was so relaxing and perfect for resting. My wife raved about how well she could rest because she’s always working. The complimentary water bottles were amazing because after a long trip with few stops I was parched

This space is very well designed and I would recommend it. It feels like a hotel room contained within an in-law suite. The reason we stayed here over a hotel is the extra privacy and pet-friendly aspects. It does border a rougher seeming area in Silver Springs, and I would keep that in mind if I need to stay in the area in the future.

my family and I had an amazing time at Julia's place. She is an amazing host and the house was well furnished and we really enjoyed our 11 day stay there. look forward to coming back again.

Our 11-year-old has expressed that this has been her favorite trip we’ve taken so far. The house was absolutely charming and cozy, offering the perfect blend of elegance and comfort. It was not only stunningly beautiful but also impeccably clean and well-maintained. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to provide a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it feel like a true home away from home. The house was ideally located, within walking distance to an array of delightful shops, restaurants, cafes, ice cream spots, and even the Wharf. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the vibrant local scene while still having a peaceful retreat to return to. During our stay, we had the opportunity to explore Old Town, as well as visit the historic areas of Georgian and Washington, D.C. It was a fabulous, memorable getaway that combined relaxation, charm, and adventure.

Great host. Adequately furnished house. Parking is challenging. Area is busy and noisy but fairly easy to get in and out of. Was not quite what we were expecting but would definitely stay there again. Priced fairly for 2 apartments.

We were celebrating my mother’s 80th birthday and the house was perfect for us. Everything was just like the pictures and had a great screened in porch with a gas fire pit coffee table. We were close to restaurants and grocery stores and it was easy to jump on a highway to go in any direction. We will definitely be booking this house again if we can.

Mary was a great host and the place was amazing. The house was clean, there was a lot of space, and enough room to comfortably fit 8. The check in process was nice and smooth, and Mary made sure to message me to ensure that all was well. Definitely would recommend and will certainly book with Mary again.

Absolutely first class experience. Harrison was responsive and proactive before we even booked! I asked about an amenity that he didn’t have and by the time we arrived, he had it installed. Extremely easy to take the Metro to explore all things DC. Lots of convenient food options next door at The Roost and across the street. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels and spaces to sleep. A/C worked wonderful! Felt right at home. Harrison also accommodated our arrival and departure times so that we were never without a place to stay! Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed with my husband, 17 year old l, and 12 year old. The beds were perfect in the spare room and I always travel with an extension cord which helped with electronics and charging in the spare room( not needed there were outlets, but was helpful). Perfect place to unwind after long days of walking and visiting the zoo and DC area. Amy was available when I reached out for local recommendations and expressed that she had extra info in the master bedroom. This location met all my expectations for cooking, relaxing, and safety. Most Airbnb’s look comfortable but don’t accommodate our family for relaxation so I was looking specifically for a sectional to watch movies or tv together and this space provided this and much more; really was comforting and felt home like. We cuddled up, I made some tea, and the view was amazing. Thank you both! We will definitely return next time we visit DC.

This was our 2nd stay here...a wonderful home base when visiting DC! Colorful, cozy, sparkling clean & spacious...we enjoy comfortably relaxing in a convenient city location. So many wonderful things to say about this stay. The location was even better than anticipated. Great restaurants, Trader Joe’s, and lovely playground just a couple blocks away. The host went above and beyond to setup a baby bed for us. It was a great place for kids. Not a lot of noise in the neighborhood. The host was very helpful with our questions about riding the metro as we are from a town with no metro. Thank you for accommodating our family with small children!

Trish was vivacious and welcoming! She shared so much about her life and work and interests. She is a great host! We'd love to return and visit more of her recommended fun and interesting places. We had a wonderful time.

We had a lovely stay at Elizabeth’s place. It was in a nice quiet neighbourhood, good cafe around the corner for a morning coffee and 15-20 min walk to the Capitol building. Very comfortable place to come back with all the amenities. Would recommend.

We were so happy with this basement apartment and location. Robert was very helpful and responsive. Most days we drove to the mall parking garage near the Pentagon and took the metro from Pentagon City station to the Smithsonian station (the pre-loaded $30 card available online was perfect for our stay). Driving from the unit to Arlington took mere minutes. It isn't too far from Mt. Vernon either. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. We would stay here again! The current pictures under sell the unit. We were very happy to find it was bigger than expected. It could use a little updating, but we didn't mind. All we did was sleep, eat some breakfast, and return each night with aching feet and legs from a typical day of walking D.C.

Was a nice place, very spacious and felt like a second home while visiting the area. Close to the metro and other big stores if needed.

This is a beautiful clean and safe home with plenty of space and accommodations like washer n dryer and full marble kitchen. The bust stop is less than a 5 mins walk and overall I had a great time here. Thank you!

We will try to stay here again, for any future visits to DC. This home felt so warm, welcoming and uncomplicated. It was the perfect location to be central to everything, yet offers a blooming, picturesque backyard retreat to unwind. We could tell that the hosts, Aman and Krista, aren’t just offering a place to stay, they care about creating a positive experience. Communication was very prompt, kind and always helpful. They provided so many thoughtful extras including books, games, everything you need in a kitchen, plenty of towels, soaps, a coffee station, and even fresh cut flowers upon arrival and extra toys for my grandson! Everything was spotless and beds were perfect (not too hard and not too soft). Our family of six unanimously wants to come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay in DC, Aman and Krista!
