We had a wonderful stay at The Lake House in Smiths Lake. The property exceeded our expectations and was stocked with everything you could possibly need for a lovely stay. Josie was a great host, very responsive and helpful. We felt right at home! Oh and the view over the lake is stunning and location very peaceful.

What a fantastic place! We had the Easter long weekend here and had a lovely time. Place was perfect with great views of the lake, well kitted out and clean. The owners were extremely communicative. Would book here in a flash!

This place was gorgeous, the location couldn’t have been better—right on the lake with pretty views and direct access down to the bay. Plenty of space too so it was perfect for a large group. Close to everything but we barely wanted to leave the property because it was that good, has everything you could possibly need and so peaceful. Will definitely be back!

My family and I (14 of us all up) Stayed here over Anzac Day weekend for my parents 50th surprise wedding anniversary. My parents were over the moon to have the whole family together in this beautiful house. The lake house has plenty of space for a large group perfect for families it has perfect ammenities, very comfortable beds, walking distance to the Main Street and to top it all off a deadset beautiful view over looking lake mulwala. Aaron was also an absolute pleasure of a host and was so accommodating for us in every possible way so thanks very much mate, we’ll definitely love to stay there again one day down the track. I would definitely recommend staying at the lake house and hope you enjoy it as much as we did 👍🏻

Absolutely exquisite! The home is bathed in beautiful natural light, with stunning views and an abundance of space - perfect for larger groups. It’s even more spacious and picturesque than the photos suggest. The location couldn’t be better, with a scenic lakeside walk right at the back doorstep and shops just a short distance away. Karen was a pleasure to communicate with - friendly, responsive, and accommodating to our needs. The home is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

The house is in a great position at lake Macquarie with lots of fun to offer. The house and each bedroom were delightfully decorated to add enjoyment to the stay. It’s a wonderful experience we have had. On the down side I would say if beds could be more comfy with better mattress that would be good. Will appreciate if have more floor towels or mop since floor is wet with lots of water activities expected. Shame we have no bbq we could use but we understand the reason. The main couch is a big old and smelly otherwise the home and stay have been perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The resort facilities were a huge hit with the kids, they couldn't get enough of the kayaking and the play areas. The apartment itself was perfect; it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The kids particularly loved the loft sleeping area, it added a special touch of excitement to their stay. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and hassle-free getaway!

Impeccable apartment. Utmost cleanliness. Well thought out amenities providing everything one could need. An oblique view of the spectacular lake from the bedroom Lovely to wake up to. Walkable to town while a little away from the other stay places. A very beautiful location. All in all a marvellous stay.

We initially worried that Arlene’s might be a little too far out of town, BUT we ABSOLUTELY loved the location. An easy walk to the lakefront to swim, to a pier for renting boats and a lovely walkway all the way into town (4.2km away). The local wildlife in the area was our highlight - so many birds, a koala, kangaroos and even a colony of flying foxes (only there two months a year). The cottage itself is comfortable, beautiful, private and well appointed. Arlene is friendly and welcoming. We totally recommend and would return in a heartbeat!

Absolutely stunning location and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lakeside AirBnB accommodation. Ash & Savannah were proactive and responsive and made us feel welcome….highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy the wonderful view!

This place is absolutely ideal. Firstly - it looks even better than the photos. The view is stunning - whether just relaxing in the living room, balcony, bedroom - you have unobstructed & private views. The unit is private, quiet, and has everything you need. I stayed for 4 nights and felt fully at home. The balcony is amazing for relaxing. The location for me was perfect, as it’s only a short drive/walk to QT - but yet it’s more quiet/less busy. The track for walking or cycling along the water is literally a few steps away. So close to the airport too. I loved everything about the unit & it is a huge part of what made QT as amazing as it was! Would highly recommend to book.

The place is close to Queenstown airport, restaurants and easily accessible. It's just few steps away from the famous Boatshed restaurant of the Queenstown. It's a good place to stay with family The host is responsive and cooperative. During the stay , had some issues with the sink The host fixed it immediately in the middle of Easter holiday. Will stay again.

Alison's apartment was excellent. Perfect for our family. It was clean, well appointed and warm. Great heaters and gas fire. An easy walk to town. Plus it had wonderful views. We can highly recommend Alison's apartment as a great place to stay in Queenstown.

Lovely spacious and comfortable cottage. We found it an ideal place as a base for further exploration of Central Otago. Highly recommend.

These cottages are so comfortable and better than you could imagine. The view when waking up and seeing the sunset from your deck, spa bath or bed whilst seeing local wildlife is the definition of relaxation. We particularly enjoyed the kayaking on the lake and feeding the horses carrots. Ashley has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and romantic, if that’s what you’re after. Thank you Ashley! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful neighbourhood and friendly neighbours. A lovely little cottage with everything you need and the right amount of space inside without it being cluttered. A nice 40 minute walk into town. I enjoyed the peace and tranquillity, a place to reset yourself. Thank you Bec.

Beautiful lakefront cottage with incredible views and a quiet and private location. This home is older but clean and well-maintained. There is no central heat or AC but the space heaters were effective. The host provided lots of information about activities. The house is located about 35-45 minutes to Mount Cook National Park and Lake Tekapo, 7 minutes from Lake Pukaki retreat (stargazing) and 15-20 minutes from Twizel with shopping and restaurants. The house was larger than expected with 4 twin and 1 larger (queen or king?) bed. Checkin was easy, kitchen was well-equipped and our stay was great.

We absolutely loved our time at this wonderful spot! The view is just amazing and felt relaxed from the moment we walked in. The cottage is very simple but has everything you need and was absolutely spotless. We would definitely like to return for another relaxing break! We even managed to catch some fish while we were there- what a bonus!

This venue holds so many special memories for us. Even with the not-so-great weather over the long weekend, it was still the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy time with our loved ones. Huge thanks to Christina and David for sharing such a beautiful place!

We stayed at Lisa and Thomas's cottage with 2 young kids and they absolutely loved it. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of natural lights. There were lots of toys for the kids to enjoy too. 2 main attractions we went within short drive are Mulalloo beach and Stirling miniature train.
