This house was amazing, perfect for our relaxing getaway! The rooms were ideal and the extra bedrooms in the annex were great. The garden and hot tub were fantastic. Trystan was a great host and nothing was too much trouble - even made sure we had an emergency delivery of wood!

3rd time staying here and just perfect for visiting my sister and my niece who live not that far away. House just what we need and host very friendly and happy to help if needed. Will defo be using again.

Lovely stay, great location and hot tub. We saw a herd of 12 deer walk across the adjacent field whilst relaxing in the evening. Very welcoming host who accommodated a late arrival too 👍

Superb place for a quiet getaway. Although it’s an annex at the end of the house grounds, you feel so secluded. The property was very clean with peaceful surroundings.

We had the most wonderful stay at Venetia’s place – she gave us such an incredible welcome, it honestly set the tone for the whole trip. When we arrived, there were lovely little touches waiting for us – milk in the fridge, a bottle of wine, and even later she shared toys and books for the kids, which they absolutely loved. Venetia’s warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home from the very beginning. The house itself is absolutely stunning – the photos really don’t do it justice. Every detail was perfect, and the setting is just magical. Nestled on a peaceful farm, we were surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, with calves and lambs nearby – the kids were in heaven. It was the perfect blend of peace and adventure, and an idyllic spot for a family holiday. We couldn’t recommend it more – thank you, Venetia, for everything!

Wonderful place for a New Year’s Eve getaway. Ant and Amanda’s bolt hole was perfect….cosy, everything you could want or need and great location. They were very welcoming and always helpful. We would highly recommend their place at any time of the year

We had one night stay at this place. It's a very beautiful location with a very kind and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The host was very responsive and took care of our requests. Thank you for the hot tub, it was so relaxing after the very long drive.

We had a great stay here. A lovely place and peaceful setting. There were clear instructions for everything making our stay stress free. Great location for visiting Dartmoor national park. We also visited Blackpool sands beach which was amazing. The 1.30hr drive was worth it for us although there are closer beaches. Nice sitting at the meadow and having our morning coffee with the chickens who paid us a visit. Thank you Ilona for a great couple of days away

Just had another great stay with Alison. The apartment was spotless as always. It is well equipped and Alison is such a great host. She is friendly and helpful. What more could you ask.

Really really lovely place, Mike was great and really understanding of the fact we got lost! Communication was outstanding! After a terrible journey and arriving late, Mike was helpful and understanding! Beautiful apartment and was one of the best places we’ve stayed! 100% would stay again! Thanks again Mike!!

The place was perfect for what we wanted. It was in a good location, not too far from town (10 minute walk) but far enough to be quiet at night. Along with the teas and coffees there were a couple of croissants with butter and jam and some milk, very thoughtful. You can get straight out into the countryside via a path near to the house. Sue was vey quick to reply to any questions and is a lovely host. All in all a great place to stay. Also, my wife left a pair of earrings there and Sue posted them to us. Very happy wife 😊

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely seaside-style cottage in Cornwall ! The house was cozy, beautifully decorated in a coastal theme, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The small terrace and charming courtyard were perfect for morning coffee or a quiet evening under the stars. We especially loved the view of the peaceful meadow just beyond the garden — such a calming and picturesque setting. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Wow, what a lovely cabin in a lovely place, hosts were amazing, everything was so clean, even the dog bed! we were completely left alone after entering the cabin which was perfect, was told not to put my dog on a lead, really lovely place will definitely be returning, couldn't of asked for any more. Id highly recommend staying here! A very unique place to stay, the cabin itself and the garden it’s in is really beautiful. It feels very private. All the details inside have been really thought about, and has everything we needed. It’s felt so relaxing and luxurious. There are so many nice touches everywhere such as the stoneware, and bed linen. The outdoor shower made us feel a lot more connected with nature each morning, and the outdoor hot bathtub after we’d built a good fire was lovely after such a long drive. Kitchen has all the things you’d need, and as a bit of a coffee person having a v60 and filters in the cupboard was a really nice touch. The local farm eggs were a real treat! We utilised the communal barn as well (again a very well thought out space), which has a big oven etc. We really loved it here. Many thanks again to Henry and Ania, we can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at the Stonecrackers was great. Hadyn and Caroline welcomed us shortly after our arrival, we enjoyed a tasty hamper waiting for us inside, they were also very helpful for a few questions we had during our stay. The cabin and surroundings made for the perfect place to switch-off and unwind. The only problem of our stay was the long weekend wasn't long enough, our mini dachshund would certainly agree! We'd love to come back when we next visit Exmoor.

just had lovely couple of nights at the cabin. Kate appeared as soon as we arrived and showed us round - she was friendly and welcoming and, because of the bad weather, had lit the fire for us so - and provided scones cream and jam, as well as tea coffee and sugar. The cabin was beautiful, quirky and cosy, spotlessly clean and very cosy. The immediate surroundings were beautifully maintained, private and secluded and the bad weather meant we were able to make good use of the wood burner! We had a great time and would be very happy to return to the cabin.

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a short stay away from home. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed the dark skies and view of the stars from the hot tub ❤️ Thank you very much x

Logement parfait ! D’abord sa situation : Très bien situé ; proche de bons pubs , départ de nombreux sentiers de randonnée et de lieux à visiter . Ensuite , ce lieu est extraordinaire ! Au calme avec une vue à couper le souffle. La décoration est parfaite , un vrai cocon , on s’y sent très bien. Cet endroit est très apaisant . La cheminée accentue cet apaisement. Je terminerai mon commentaire par l’accueil de notre hôte , très gentille , très réactive . Nous avons pu aller cueillir des légumes de la ferme et acheter de la viande de la ferme durant notre séjour . Ce logement vaut son statut de « perle rare ».

We had a lovely,pleasant and relaxing stay at the cabin, the cabin was well equipped with everything we needed,and we had a lovely helpful host. The cabin is in an ideal location close to Bude, and other nice places.
