What a magical place to stay! The views and location were incredible and the house itself was so clean and well appointed. It was our wedding anniversary during our stay and we had lovely surprises waiting for us upon our arrival, which made our celebration extra special - very thoughtful and generous of our hosts! We had the most wonderful time in Portree and on Skye and can’t thank David, Alexander and Katherine enough for their kindness, hospitality and for sharing their beautiful home with us ❤️

What a lovely stay! Rebecca was so kind and helpful. The bed was super comfy, high end linens, very clean and lovely details all around. Wood stove warmed everything up so fast. You can tell there was a lot of thought and care put into the space. Perfect spot for exploring all the Isle of Skye favorites! Snap this one up if you can, it’s magic!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Graham’s beautiful cottage. It felt very private and peaceful, and the views from all angles of the house were stunning. We particularly enjoyed the cozy living room and fireplace and the well-stocked kitchen. While the location is quite remote on Skye, we loved having the whole house and surroundings to ourselves. Graham was extremely responsive and helpful, providing us with local tips and instructions. We would definitely come back!

Stunning breathtaking view, very supportive and friendly host, very peaceful and cosy cabin, relatively close to town to grab dinner or shopping, nice area around to walk. We really enjoyed our time. We stayed in November, so at night heating was essential with efficient wood stove provided. However I found it quite a challenge to control temperature. Since you sleep at higher level where all hot air accumulates, it becomes very quickly very hot and no way to open a window to have fresh air and decrease temperature. Please note that I am not expert and not used to in using wood stove on daily basis so not a very big deal if you like warm nights especially it is better to feel warm than cold at night:) We would love to stay again some day.

It is a wonderful place to unwind and just stare out of the big window in front of a little fire after a good hiking day. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious what made cooking joyful. I loved it and hope to return one day.

The only thing that I would rate higher than this cottage was the beautiful view and sunsets we enjoyed (these were truly spectacular!). The Byre was just right - cozy, both secluded and close to the great spots nearby such as the Glendale market/post office, Skye Weavers, and 3 Chimneys. Clear instructions and responsive communication were appreciated too. I would definitely recommend this special place to a friend and I would love to come back someday soon!

An amazing stay in a beautiful cottage with incredible views and a wonderful host. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay; the cottage was spotless, and every detail had been thought of. Shona was a brilliant host, and we’d love to come back again soon!

Can I give a 10 star review? Graeme’s cottage on Skye was wonderful for our short stay. Everything about the house was perfect. Clean, comfortable, well stocked with everything you need plus tons of board games, books and movies. The location on Skye is remote but still close to services in Uig. It was great having a washer and dryer in the unit and a great kitchen for cooling some meals. Wi-Fi worked great as well. I can’t recommend this place enough. One of my fav AirBnB stays ever!

We had such an amazing time at the cabin. It is in a central location, making it easy for us to explore the Isle of Skye. Views are stunning and we were blessed with sunshine for the whole trip which made it even more breathtaking. The fire was on in the evenings and it was lovely to sit outside on the table early in the morning enjoying a cup of coffee. The house was comfortable (although my husband struggled with the double bed, he found it very bad for his back). It was well equipped and had all we needed for our stay. There is a walk from the house that takes you to a beautiful waterfall, and is great for a swim (maybe even better than the fairy pools!). We recommend Café Cùil for brunch, it is delicious. Also recommend taking the ferry to the Isle of Raasay for a visit to the distillery, and a walk to inver bay. Dunvegan castle was great and coral beach defo worth a visit too (recommend getting there early as small car park and can get quite busy). A fantastic stay, thank you!
