Great place to stay, just what we were looking for. More than happy to book again!

Our second time staying at Paula’s. We stayed longer this time and were able to really enjoy and appreciate everything it has to offer. It is such a bright and cheerful cottage with a large sunny deck which we utilised for morning coffee in the sun and bbq’s in the evening. We had family visit and grandchildren were able to explore the surroundings. They all felt they were on holiday even though they lived five minutes away. All this was enhanced by bird song and lavender. I would highly recommend.

Was beautiful view. Small but great size for my partner and I. Homely feeling to the place. Very convenient for us. Paul is always fast to reply and very contactable. We really appreciate being able to stay 5 weeks in this home. Would definitely recommend.

Great feel, clean beautiful living space

This was a great place in an even better location, right along the coast. The place is spacious and comfortable.

Staying at the Terminus was wonderful. Easy walk to the Octagon but further enough away to not be so busy. The apartment had a great layout and had everything we needed. Great coffee spots nearby and an easy drive to the Otago Pennisula which we wanted to go. Antonia messaged regularly to check everthing was ok. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Dunedin. Our accommodation was the highlight of our trip.

This is a very nice historic building, and the apartment is well appointed with high ceilings and windows. There is a lift to whisk you to the top floor, and parking on the street is easy and inexpensive. The unit is strategically located near many of the main sights around the city. The Chinese Scholar’s Garden is located right across the street, and is a very cool place to visit. The Settler’s Museum is right next door. And don’t forget Maggie’s — an easy ten minute walk for a great breakfast — and The Duke of Wellington (a one minute walk) for a pint of beer. Cheers!

A perfect place to stay on the peninsula. 15 mins drive to central Dunedin and 5 mins to Port Chalmers. Just a short walk down to Sawyers Bay. Beautiful views. The wee unit was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. I really appreciated having tea and coffee and milk provided. Thanks Trixie!

I stayed here in one of the coldest months of the year, and the room was a little cold at the beginning. However, Joyce was very helpful and and easy to talk to, and she provided an extra blanket, a better heater, and a winter cap which helped me immensely in coping with the temperature (in fact I didn't feel cold at all after that). Thank you so much.

This place is an absolute gem, I can nothing but recommend it. The moment you get into the apartment you are home away from home. Everything you need is just there. Special thanks for the breakfast items and super furbished kitchen 🙏. Communication with Antonia & Jo super easy and very friendly. Had a great time at iD Fashion, everything just in walking distance. For sure, I‘ll be back!

Lovely apartment which was clean and had lots of little extras. Very accommodating when we wanted a second night!

Our stay at The Terminus was very nice and a place we won’t forget! It was in a great location, very beautiful building and the apartment was gorgeous! Host was very helpful with suggestions and it was very easy to check in. 10/10 recommend!

Christine’s place was excellent for us, convenient for getting to our locations. No parking at the location, but easy enough to park on the street. Christine was very nice, we didn’t need anything from her but it would have been easy if we had.

We had the most wonderful time at Sally’s and Keri’s place. It is located in beautiful surroundings, lots of nature and places to visit the sea and take a walk. The hot tub should win an award for “most beautiful view from a hot tub”. With unmatched hospitality, great breakfast and the friendliest dog we can not recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for having us!

It was a unique and memorable opportunity to stay at the Middlemarch property where my mother, Natalie, had lived from 1927 to 1944. I had spent many holidays there and so it was a most fulfilling experience to introduce my grownup children and two young grandchildren to the ancestral home and heritage. We also scattered my 97yo mother’s ashes on the Rock & Pillar Range behind Strathmore. Liz was very hospitable and showed us through the main house where she lives. She also provided delicious homemade yogurt with apricots, raspberry and blackcurrant jams and locally sourced honey for breakfast & snacks. We met several lovely neighbours and local personalities during our 3 day stay. We enjoyed eating at the local Kissing Gate cafe and the Strath Taieri Hotel. The landscape was magnificent and we really enjoyed all aspects of our stay.

Staying with John and his partner was a God send! No other places were available and John went over and above to make room for us to stay so we didn't need to stay in a shared dorm room at a backpackers. His place was clean, comfortable, and cute. We had our own rooms and bathroom. John even made a delicious plum cake with plums from his garden that he shared with us. He also had amazing food recommendations! We really enjoyed and hugely appreciated our stay.

As anticipated and expected from the photos, Quaint and funky, wonderful place at the end of the road. Margaret was friendly and helpful, she felt like a friend immediately on meeting her. A delightful few days away

Beautiful home and sea views, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom... oh yes and thank you so much for the yummy breakfast - we felt spoilt!

Stunning place, lots of little extras that make it special eg chocolates and cold free beer. Host very friendly and made you feel right at home. Free breakfast with homemade bread and jam was an added extra. The house has a great history. This is one of the best places we have stayed
