North Eleuthera : locations de vacances en bord de mer

This was our first trip to Spanish Wells. The beauty of the ocean is breathtaking. We own homes on the ocean in Maine and Florida and the view in Spanish Wells easily tops both of those locations. The cottage was nicely decorated and very clean. The view from the cottage was beautiful. Audrey, the neighbor and cottage caretaker was extremely kind and helpful. She quickly responded to our every need. We truly enjoyed our conversations with her. We would 100% return to this rental. Having said that I will tell you that we have travelled the world and stayed at over 100 Airbnb type rentals. The only downsides that we experienced here, which had nothing to do with the accommodations, were with regard to dining options on Spanish Wells. Compared to other vacations we have taken, the dining options are slim. Especially on Sundays. We didn't want to have to cook on vacation and it was tough at times to find open restaurants. 10/10 for the cottage and 5/10 for island dining.

We had a lovely stay at Sonshore Cottage! The house was clean, had a beautiful esthetic, extra beach towels were in the closet for our use, a soft cooler and plenty of ice packs were available for our beach outings, and more! Sarah was also a very responsive host providing us with a lot of local recommendations and help if we had any questions. We will definitely stay at Sonshore Cottage again when we return to Eleuthera!

Shes very sweet and nice, a great deal and good location, and shes very well connected.

We spent a week at Cannon Fire and truly can’t think of any way it could have been improved. The location is special-- it is extremely quiet and directly on the beach, which we usually had all to ourselves. We met the local fishermen who anchor their boats out front and bought fresh conch for dinner. The airport and grocery store are about 15 minutes away, but there is a convince store at the end of the block that stocked a lot of essentials. The kitchen is not large but was very well stocked, including a hot plate, a blender, and a large grill out back. Cannon Fire looked exactly like its photos, and Robert was very helpful and responsive whenever we had any questions. Do yourself a favor and book this place.

This is a rural island. Think castaway with WiFi/hot shower/kitchen amenities. No night life we could find but that’s ok. Just know you’re going for the solitude and ability to swim in a beautiful calm ocean and, one more thing: June’s house may look like a restaurant, but that’s their private home. She gives you access to all the toys underneath the home, though. I kayaked around the little island and that was fun.

We had an excellent stay at Sip Sip. We were looking for accommodations fairly close to the airport. Oleander Gardens is a quiet neighborhood. The house was beautiful and nicely appointed with everything we needed. Kati provided us all the information we needed in advance of our stay and Wallace and his wife met us upon arrival to make sure we had what we needed. Beautiful view of the water from the front porch while having coffee and several nice beaches close by. A neighbor let us jump off the cliff into the beautiful blue water behind his house as an added bonus. Also had a great lunch with friendly staff at Daddy Joes. We had a great time.

Great place right on the water!! The patio was great to sit outside and look out over the ocean. We will definitely stay here again. Wally responded quickly and was very accommodating. Thank you

Can’t believe I just stumbled upon this Airbnb. Loved it!! Will definitely be back again. My son and I felt right at home.

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful vacation staying at the Bungalow. It was clean, spacious and accurate in terms of what the listing had described. We made use of the kitchen accessories that were provided (plates, bowls, cups, utensils, minifridge, microwave, coffee maker ect.) which was helpful when picking up food in town with a car that was easily rented. It was extremely relaxing with our own private patio and various kinds of lounge chairs while also offering a more social atmosphere at the restaurant and bar. While we had seen a review mentioning a slightly uncomfortable bed, we slept comfortably every night. The views were amazing from the property, we felt extremely safe and at-home and spent a lot of time (frequently without seeing another person) on the beautiful beach just steps from the bungalow, as well as floating in the pool and taking advantage of the swim-up bar. I could not have asked for a more friendly and accommodating staff on the property and restaurant/bar as well (Mekell who welcomed us with a seamless check-in, Sammy at the bar, Pascal and Francesca at the restaurant and the younger staff helping to take care of the house and ground-keepings) not to mention - the food and drink at Pascal's was delicious!! Pam from the rental team was also extremely helpful with my Q&A's via email. While there is so much of the world to see this would be a spot I would return, knowing that there is such an amazing experience to be had.

This place was everything we could have hoped! It was just as described in the descriptions and pictures. A perfect vacation!!

It's hard to describe Paradise, but if I had to picture what it would be like it would be Cayo Loco! The beach and the water were the prettiest I have ever seen (and I have lived in Hawaii). You can walk for miles and not see anyone. To me there is nothing better than sleeping with the windows open and having the sound of the ocean waves lull you to sleep. Plenty of great things to do and wonderful places to eat. Our host would give us updates everyday with suggestions which was so helpful! They went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. Other than the amazing beaches, the most memorable experiences we had were with the people of Eleuthera. The culture there is to be welcoming, kind and considerate to everyone. They truly love and respect their island and want you to feel at home there. We can't wait to return and hope to stay longer this time.

My family and I had a wonderful amazing stay at your home. Every day was a beautiful adventure, walking around the island and exploring the beaches and snorkeling. It was serene, rustic, and a breath of fresh air from our busy lives. Glad we brought food as the grocery stores were something to get used to, but it was an adventure, and everybody was so nice. We will for sure come back.

Beautiful spot right next to the sea. We felt very private. There are water shoes that can be used and are helpful to get into the water, as it is all rocks. Josette always replyed very fast to my questions, thankmyou so much for that! We really enjoed this gem.

Es un lugar hermoso , bien decorado , cama cómoda, baño amplio. La piscina es un plus , muy agradable para refrescarse. El jardín trasero con vistas al mar es ideal para leer o tomar un trago al atardecer. El ama de llaves es muy amable y si necesitas algo se preocupa por solucionarlo. Conviene hacer compras antes de llegar porque no hay nada cercano para abastecerse. En caso de que regresemos a Eleuthera, volvería a alquilarle a Ken.

Had such a relaxing time and the place was perfect for us-had everything we needed in a central location to beach and town, with extra bonus of golf cart and beach chairs/towels/umbrella!

Pink Sands cottage is located in an ideal location. Short walk to the beach and you are there in seconds. This beach is one of prettiest I’ve ever seen. Shallow clear blue pristine water and you can walk out into the ocean quite a distance. At the end of the street on located on water way you can rent kayaks and tour through the mangroves. We saw a manatee and dolphins! Lindy’s food truck, Eagles Landing restaurant and the grocery store are all in walking distance. Don’t forget to rent a golf cart. It’s the ideal mode of transportation. We loved the out door shower and our group used that the entire time.

This little house was absolutely perfect…the beach is literally steps from the back door. We had every imaginable thing we needed or didn’t know we needed. Extremely well stocked, like you’re staying with friends. Our family of 5 did just fine with one bathroom , excellent use of space.

Blue Moon was an absolutely amazing right on the Beach at Gaulding Cay Beach. There are no other rentals directly on the beach here. The water was amazing crystal clear just a few steps through the coconut tree. (Not many bugs) We used the SUP and double kayak one afternoon. And everyday we snorkeled the rock everyday. Hanging out listening to the water and coconut trees in a hammock was extremely relaxing. The house has loads of books and a great collection of art. Daddy Joes was just a short walk down the road. Gregory town is just a 4 minute ride in the car. We are looking forward to our next stay. I am dreaming about that beach and hammock!!

Shawne was by far the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had. When we arrived, we discovered there was no running water at Marissa’s place due to a cistern leak. Shawne immediately stepped in, arranging a beautiful alternative accommodation nearby and even organizing transportation for us. Throughout our stay, he was incredibly responsive, offering thoughtful local recommendations and even lending us snorkel gear so we could make the most of our trip. Thanks to Shawne’s proactive support and attention to detail, our experience was wonderful despite the unexpected challenges. We’re so grateful for his dedication and hospitality—he truly went above and beyond to ensure everything worked out for us.

We loved our stay at "The Getaway". It was very private and very clean. The house itself is remarkable. As many have said the pictures do not do it justice!! Other things worth mentioning are; the settlement of Current is extremely friendly welcoming; the property manager Karen and the facilities support Pedro were excellent and incredibly responsive; we hired a private boat, Captain James from Lower Boque, to take us sprear fishing and snorkeling, was awesome. We were very happy at Normand and Manon’s place. The spacious house/apartment was perfect, new, super clean, quiet and very well appointed with comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Manon was always greeting us with a smile and provided any info needed including restaurant recommendations. The beach was not right in front, we usually drove down to it as we didn’t want to drag our things up the hill at the end of the day but it was not far, maybe few minutes by car. But it was a very long and beautiful white sand beach and basically no one there. There is a great restaurant nearby (20 mins walk or 10 mins car ride) Pascal’s that has great food and drinks, which we utilized a lot. The location is great, close to Governor’s Harbour, where you can find gas station, grocery and liquor stores and restaurants. Overall we had a wonderful time at Flipper’s place and would definitely recommend it.
