The cabin is beautiful. My family had a wonderful time. We can't wait to come back again.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was just my husband, my adult daughter and me, but the space is very ideal for a larger family and very kid friendly. The location was close to Mammoth Cave, Horse Cave, Cave City, and Bowling Green, which were all places we visited while there. We enjoyed the Gothic tour at Mammoth cave and the tour at Hidden River Cave in Horse Cave. The guest contact, Beth, was very responsive to my questions and very sweet at giving us information on the area. The cabin itself is quite out there (in terms of location) but we don't mind that. We don't mind driving a ways in order to get a cabin that is comfortable and offers a nice location. Due to the recent flooding we didn't visit Nolan Lake and some other areas but KY never disappoints. It is a beautiful state and we will be back some day (been there twice now). I would highly recommend this stay. I was very pleased.

We had a fantastic time at the cabin! It was clean and well-maintained, with a spacious kitchen perfect for larger families. We had so much fun playing games, enjoying the saloon, and singing on our karaoke night. The hot tub and porch were perfect for relaxing. We had a minor issue with the Blackstone, but the owners were incredibly responsive and had it fixed right away. Highly recommend this place for a great getaway!

We've stayed at a lot of cabins for fall and spring breaks with our kids & this is one of our absolute favorites! Everything was clean & comfortable, the hot tub is fantastic, and the layout of the house worked well for our family (kids in the basement, mom + dad in the upstairs master). There's an incredible amount of deck space (three levels!), and having coffee outside each morning was a highlight for me. The 18-hole disc golf course is a unique feature! My 7-year-old is just getting into disc golf, and we liked that we could just take him out to play a couple of holes at a time after spending the day doing other activities. A couple of things to know: (1) Grocery stores are few & far between in the area, so plan to bring most of what you need with you or to eat at local restaurants while you're out and about, (2) If you're visiting Mammoth Cave, look up information about the Green River Ferry -- not only is it a fun experience but it will save you a ton of driving time.

The group very much enjoyed the stay and the amenities including the hot tub!

The cabin was beautiful and very clean! We wanted to explore Mammoth Cave and visit Louisville, and this place was between those two. It is far from most things, which we're used to, and that meant it was peaceful and easy to justify staying in at night.

Our stay was amazing! The cabin was exactly as described/ matched the photos. We were looking for the perfect getaway from our busy lives and this exceeded expectations. Such a charming cabin and pavilion! There’s a great bunkhouse, however with it just being the two of us and the pups we didn’t need to utilize that. Though I can imagine it’s perfect for bigger groups/families! Location is great for hiking Mammoth Cave National Park and checking out some of the Cave Tours! We had an amazing time and highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Lora's place is probably the best place we have stayed in. We are a large family, and travel plenty for sporting events. The kids were enamored with the home, The upstairs loft loaded with 6 beds was brilliant. As the chef, I felt right at home in her wonderful kitchen, and my wife loved all of the space for the family to spread out. This place will always be our home if we are near by. We Love this unique home, and its well stocked cabinets. Plenty of towels, and the restaurants and walmart are only 15 minutes away. Stay here, you will love it!

Cozy, clean cabin nestled in beautiful scenery with ponds, nearby lake for kayaking, hiking trail with cave, waterfall, Billy Goats gruff & trolls. Hosts were very responsive. Would be a great place for family reunions. Remote--DG Market about 20 minutes away. Large porches to relax & take in the views or firepit to gather around. Toured Crystal Onyx Cave with kitchy picture ops. Visited Bowling Green. Want to come back to track a corvette & visit museum. Booked 3 nights--should have planned a whole week!

We loved staying in this beautiful pet-friendly cabin with excellent amenities like a dishwasher, washer, dryer, and full-size range, oven, and refrigerator. Since we were displaced by the epic flooding nearby, we were grateful to stay somewhere new and very nice, with an owner who is thoughtful, responsible, and responsive and who made the effort to determine if his place was dry, not flooded, before accepting our reservation. We enjoyed cooking and baking in the well appointed kitchen. We also found the accessible (nearly no threshold) entrance from the gravel driveway through the automatic garage door into the kitchen really convenient for moving groceries, cargo, and our aging dog, for whom steps are challenging.

Great place to stay. Jeffrey was a great host with good communication throughout our stay. Our kids had a great time with plenty of space inside and out to play.

What a comfortable place to stay! The beds were very comfortable and the house was so fun! Every where you turned you can find unique decorations and great art! And the 2 decks were very relaxing to sit on. Thanks for a great birthday weekend.

The cabin was exactly as we expected. We loved the quiet serene lake and the 360 degree wrap around porch. The wind chimes and sunset would cap off each night. It was a great place to reconnect with family. My daughter’s favorite part was the huge shower with awesome acoustics!

Richard’s active care for the land is easily noticeable in how thriving everything is at Creekdance. My son and I would have stayed permanently if we could. As I write this review, I feel I’m still there- wading in the creek and walking the trails alongside favorable company. Just a perfect place to get in tune with the elements and really appreciate how gentle and safe well cared for land can feel. I will return and I’d highly recommend those who want to experience beauty and feel recharged do so also. Truly full of gratitude- Thank you, Richard. ♥️🌀

My daughter and her family stayed with us and there was plenty to do in the area. Kids swam in the river below the house and we also went about 5 minutes away and rented a pontoon boat and spent the day on Rough Lake.

Our stay started on a disappointing note, and I have to admit I was a bit worried about how the rest of the trip would go. But I have to give full credit to the host for how they handled the situation. As soon as I reached out, they were incredibly responsive and quick to address the issues. Their professionalism and willingness to make things right really turned everything around. By the end of our stay, the experience had completely shifted. The host’s attentiveness made us feel genuinely valued, and one moment, in particular, stood out. My daughter lost her favorite plush toy, and the host went above and beyond to help us recover it. That thoughtful gesture meant the world to us and truly made the stay memorable. Overall, while the beginning wasn’t ideal, the host’s care and effort made all the difference. It’s definitely a place I’d come back and stay for a week and bring my kids. This time it was just adult friends and family. But we were talking about booking this place again and brining all of our kids! It was an amazing place truly! I’ve never done an airbnb before and they exceeded my expectations. I mean they had every dish I could have thought to bring and forgot. It felt like such a cozy place. Definitely recommend

A private secluded no frills, albeit well-worn & weathered, little off grid cabin in the pretty Amish countryside, but with solid beds, amazing camp stove, great propane heat etc. Bring firewood since most was damp there (or we couldn't find the drier wood pile of actual logs not woodshop lumber cuts) and we used extra duvets & pillows from our camper trailer for added comfort. Lots of outdoor space and even picketed fence around the cabin should your dog not have solid recall. Can't beat the beautiful surround of the woods & river below. Our running-breed dog loved it. Kids would love it too! Very peaceful. Exactly as described. Thanks for accomodating us!

We had a great time at Nolin Lake. We chose this spot due to its proximity to Mammoth Cave. It was easy to get to and the place was secluded and quiet. Angela’s place was clean and was perfect for our family. The only thing I would say are the basement stairs are steep so if you have little kids just be aware! But we loved the games in the basement and the loft upstairs!
