If I had to use one word to describe our stay it would be generous: Thank you so much for allowing us to use your lovely house as our base: It's gorgeous, roomy and homely. It's also well placed for getting around Melbourne. Griselda is also the most generous and responsive of hosts with lots of supplies for us when we arrived that were most were most welcome. The house is also very generous with all the space and things that make it feel like home. The house is much bigger than it appears on the photographs and has lots of different living areas internally and externally. We couldn't have been happier during our time here. It really was a home away from home for the weeks we have stayed. Thanks again and lovely to have visited:-))

Location was ideal for our stay as it was close to family and function and not far from the city. Gourmet shops and cafes within walking distance. The house was clean and spacious and free and easy on street parking was provided. A welcome pack including breakfast foods and fresh bread and milk surprised us on arrival. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable and it felt like home. Greg was a great host . He communicated well responding promptly to all our queries. Greg was flexible with check in and check out times and said if we needed anything to let him know. An enjoyable stay in this Brunswick cottage

We stay at a lit of Airbnbs and every now and then one will stand out due to the personal touches. We had fresh fruit, 6 large double yoked eggs, bread,milk, butter and the most beautiful fresh cut flowers. The house itself is like being at home. We called it the Tardis as it looked compact from the outside but was huge inside. James was very arrentative and obviously rightly proud of the house. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This was a fantastic place we stayed at which was nice and private and had an amazing view. Fiona was very pleasant to deal with and was very accommodating to our needs, everything about the place was awesome and we would definitely like to stay here again in the future!

Great spot, just a couple of minutes walk from a 96 Tram stop that takes you right into the CBD. Fun design and thoughtful touches including public transport cards ( which was extremely helpful). Would happily stay here again. Thanks Rachel!

The setting is calm and the views are stunning. The property is surrounded by trees. Everything was right to go. Provisions for breakfast, fire stacked and spotless. Even a bottle of wine and chocolate.

Quite possibly our best air bnb stay ever. And we’ve stayed at a lot. It was my first time staying in a Melbourne terrace house. It was amazing!!!! Honestly never been to a place that matched the photos so perfectly. If not better. We stayed for 6 nights so we wanted more than just a hotel room. Would stay again tomorrow if we could. So close to south Melbourne markets which you can go to for breaky, lunch and get supplies for dinner if you want. Across from the tram stop too. Kara was an amazing host too. Went above and beyond for us. The shower pressure was so wonderful too! So good worthy of a comment haha. Highly recommend. Don’t second guess your decision to book this beautiful home. Close to the popular Lygon st. Louise was super helpful and allowed a later check out. Great unit.

Gorgeous old building with plenty of character in the perfect location for the international garden show! Karen’s studio has a great view of Carlton Gardens, is beautiful, restful with lovely breezes, and sooo many restaurants nearby (only a 5 minute stroll to Lygon street). A lovely cosy place to come home to. We had a wonderful visit, thank you!

A fabulous stay in a great location. We loved the homely, clean well appointed accomodation. The little extra touches and attention to detail made for a 5 star stay.

The apartment was extremely comfortable - beautifully furnished and very warm with plenty of heating. It’s a great location in a heritage historical site, thanks so much for hosting us! My daughter says it’s the best airbnb she’s ever visited!

Excellent location, perfect for the trains, trams and local amenities. Beautifully appointed apartment, well equipped, comfy bed, great shower and lovely balcony. Our third visit !. Thank you Anne , we hope to be here again next year !

We arrived early in the day and where in contact with a lovely lady Jan who let us in and showed us everything. There were supplies milk etc already there for use which was great. Great location, just down the road from amenities, restaurants, supermarket, cafes etc. Tram right along the main street for easy transportation into the CBD. What a wonderful experience with a truly thoughtful host. Michelle has created a wonderful home away from home with all the right ‘feels’ and a touch of luxury, she made us feel like valued guests and we were extremely happy with the location and personality within the home .

The apartment was easy and accessible, exactly as described. Little Journey was very flexible and willing accommodate my needs in a friendly manner. Would stay there again.

I had an incredible stay at Darren’s Airbnb, thanks to the amazing hospitality of Barry and Parinya. Darren ensured all my requirements were met in advance, making the booking process seamless. Barry and Parinya went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Barry took exceptional care in getting me accustomed to the house, explaining all details about the space and kitchen. He was always available to help and even drove me around the city, helping me set up essentials and explore. What truly stood out was Barry’s generosity—he even took me for house inspections to help me find a long-term stay. When my Airbnb stay ended, he accommodated me in his attic room until my apartment was ready, which was a huge help. Barry and Parinya’s kindness, hospitality, and warmth made my stay unforgettable. I’m grateful for the bond we built and look forward to staying in touch. Highly recommend this Airbnb for a welcoming and homely experience!

We had a lovely stay with Bronnie , the house is very spacious great views, a lovely big bathroom and the pool and hot tub are an added attraction. The do it yourself breakfast works well plenty of choice and a chance to mingle with other guests although when we stayed not many others were staying. Bronnie was a great host offering plenty of advise about local attractions to see and do.

Kerry's lovely and her home is beautiful! There was always something new to look at because so much heart was put into decorating the place. The house felt like a museum (with all the different antique pieces to marvel at), but also felt incredibly homely with adequate modern amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. Our only regret was not having enough time to explore and appreciate the house because we left the house early and got back late on most days while we were in Melbourne. The location of the house was a bit further out from the city centre but it was easy to get to with tram, metro, and bus options. Moreover, Fitzroy itself has a lot to offer without really ever needing to step foot into the city centre. Thank you Kerry for being a wonderful host and we wish you all the best in your endeavours!
