De manera personal, me gusto mucho la estadía, y sobretodo la atención que nos brindaron. Por otra parte, todo lo reflejado en imagen fue exactamente igual, el lugar es bastante limpio, y lo mejor la vista del lugar es muy linda

Wow! No words for this lovely home and the even more lovely hosts. Spend your day at your own private waterfall, collecting mangos, walking in the river or reading in the hammock. Ben, Claire and the adorable Isabelle are wonderful people, full of local knowledge and plant expertise! Sun drenched, with multiple places to hike and eat fresh fruits, this place is definitely worth the trip, don’t miss! Thank you for such an unforgettable time.

¡Una experiencia increíble en Playa Maderas! El lugar es muy bonito, rodeado de naturaleza y con una vista espectacular. La cabina estaba impecable, muy bonita y cómoda, perfecta para descansar. La piscina es excelente y se disfruta muchísimo, sobre todo al atardecer. El host fue muy amigable y siempre atento a todo lo que necesitáramos. La atención en general fue de primera. Sin duda, un lugar al que me encantaría volver.

Excellent Airbnb, well-located and fully equipped. Very comfortable and quiet, surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. Communication with Stephanie was very smooth, and she was always attentive to any questions.

The location is perfection, fit exacrly what i was looking for of waking up and stepping onto sand and sleeping to the sound of the waves. Martin the host is a gem, very attentive responsive and kind

Staying at Villa Fiorella with Armando and his lovely family was a great experience! The price is very affordable and priced very fairly for a brand new apartment with excellent amenities. Armando and his family was incredibly kind and welcoming. One day when we first arrived, Armando told us his goal and desire is to treat his guests like family. At first, I was skeptical, because I too own apartments and prefer a hands-off approach, but I was proven wrong. He absolutely treats his guests like family. Unfortunately, I experienced problems with a car rental agency in town, and after losing money Armando offered for my family to use his car, because he wanted to help us and felt bad for us. This was an incredible act of kindness. We were blown away by how sweet this gesture was. Our daughter also LOVED Armando's daughter, Fiorella. She was so sweet and played with our daughter. Armando's children are so sweet and welcoming! You are nestled in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a view of the mountains and fields. We loved how quiet and peaceful this place was, and watching the sunsets. Armando was very quick to attend to our requests, such as fix a small tear in the window screen, assist with organizing housekeeping, servicing the A/C unit, improving wifi, and anything else we requested. The quality of the apartment is very high, with very nice finishes and materials! We truly felt treated like family. There is also a beautiful garden in the back and the neighbors are family, so we felt very safe at this place. This place is about a 5-10 minute drive from town. Taxis are very affordable and will pick you up from this place ($4.29 dollars to town, $1.5 if you catch a taxi from the main road), take you to beaches and wait for you there, and bring you back home ($30 dollars round trip to maderas or hermosa). (Call Lester +505 7787 2868) The internet was a bit slow, but Armando is working every day to improve it. I work in telecommunications, using wifi calling all day, but for anyone streaming or using wifi for casual purposes you won't have problems. Overall a super great experience! Thank you Armando for showing us so much love and care. We would come back any day to revisit.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Unterkunft, konnten gut abschalten von dem stressigen Alltag mitten in der Natur und doch mitten im Leben von den Einheimischen. So lernt man die Kultur am besten. Zum Strand sind es nur paar Minuten, und zum unsere Frühstück Lokal (BlackPlaya) auch, ist noch leider nicht auf Google maps vermerkt aber es lohnt sich. Morgens wird man von Sonnenaufgang und Vögel zwitschern geweckt, sowie es kann sein das auch ne Kuh oder Pferde plötzlich da stehen :) Für uns war es eine tolle Abwechslung um Ruhe zu genießen. Danke:) Wir empfehlen es herzlich weiter.

We really enjoyed our stay with Charles & Rosy. The cottage is cute and perfect for a couple. The kitchen is equipped with what you need (microwave, 2 burner hot plate, blender, pots, pans, wine glasses, cups, plates, mini fridge, dining table.) and the AC was a welcomed addition especially after a hot day in the city. The bed was comfy and the fan above us kept us nice and cool at night. Lots of storage for your clothes, and the hot water shower was lovely. Rosy was very helpful and considerate, and Charles was extremely kind and responsive. We went for a walk around the grounds and were delighted to see fresh fruits, though not quite ripe for us to pick, but that’s okay. The gate at entry also gave us peace of mind and was very welcomed. Only note: if you’re taking a taxi, drivers have a hard time finding the place but if you wait for them outside of the compound it’s fine. 20/10. Highly recommend their place. Thank you for having us!

Excelente lugar nos encantó mucha vegetación, muy tranquilo jaasiel es muy amable y esta al pendiente se pone a disposición, el guardia Manuel muy atento esta al pendiente te recibe y te da indicaciones muy bien, mi familia y yo estamos muy agradecidos esperamos volver pronto.

La cabaña es realmente hermosa, rodeada de naturaleza y diseño muy acogedor. Tenía grandes ventanas que dejaban entrar la luz y vistas muy lindas de los árboles. El espacio exterior era perfecto para disfrutar de la fogata por la noche, creando un ambiente muy bonito. Sin duda, un lugar encantador para desconectarse y realizar nuestra celebración.

a place like this is not for everybody but if it is your thing then you will have one of the most memorable stays in the country this accommodation is not easy to find or get to but once you get here you will have an amazing experience. from the moment I arrived to the moment I left I felt very much at home here dealings hospitality and smile make you feel instantly at home and it was some of the best home cooked typical food I've had in the country. As was the onsite locally produced coffee. I normally hate Gallo Pinto but the beans and rice here was incredible. incredible value will definitely return here once again hopefully again with my motorcycle. Thankyoy deyling.

Finca Valhall was more beautiful than even the lovely photos could capture. The sound of the Caribbean surf was our all night song and being on the windward side of the island, there was a breeze that was cooling. I never saw one mosquito. Hammock time on the deck, easy walks to town and great island food. Perfect little kitchen. Tord connected us with Charlie who took us on his boat to snorkel a reef off shore. We explored some quiet beaches and were excited a baseball tournament was happening which we attended. Great fun ! Tord gave us a tour of his farm and the many projects going on there which was very impressive and interesting. We saw different accommodations on the island and always felt that we were staying in the perfect place: Finca Valhall. Tord was a wonderful host. Often he would leave us fresh fruit in morning, and he was always available to answer questions. Their sweet dogs were a bonus to have around too. We will stay there again if we return to this special island !

Had a wonderful time in the jungle cabin. Beautiful and relaxing. Magical experience. Lovely walks. Wilma was away, but we met Harm. Charming and full of energy, clearly passionate about their farm and project. Great service from Idalia. Served tasty breakfast and evening meals, and sorted our laundry, all very reasonable. Farm dogs were a delight, too, and joined us on our walks. Would love to visit again!
