Absolutely perfect! Everything we wanted. Private, right on a gorgeous creek and super cozy. The horses beside the cabin were a wonderful surprise, we enjoyed watching them play. The deck over the creek and sitting area on the rocks is just beautiful. So quiet and calm. Loved listening to the birds. Wish the bridge was finished while we were there so we could explore more, but we will be back! Had everything you could need or want in the cabin for cooking and enjoying the outdoors. Couldn’t ask for a better stay!

We came to the Buffalo River area to do some hiking. Unfortunately, it rained and rained (flash floods) the entire time we were there. However, the cabin was so nice and comfortable that we ended up having a very relaxing and enjoyable time anyway. Just as it’s described, the cabin is in a very secluded and peaceful area. The trees and foliage were absolutely beautiful. (We were there in April) The dogwoods and redbuds were in full bloom. Probably because of the heavy rains, we had a waterfall right out our back door. The wrap around porch was perfect for grilling and soaking in the scenery even though it was pouring down rain. Toni had pretty much everything you would need throughout the house. Basic food stuffs in the kitchen. (Seasonings, coffee, butter, condiments, etc.) The bathroom was fairly well stocked with all the typical personal hygiene items that you might need if you accidentally forgot something. We would certainly stay here again.

We came as a group of five for one night. My husband and myself (40s), my daughter and her boyfriend (older teens), my son (6), and 2 dogs (a big one and a little one). Pets being welcome was a huge plus. My little son was obsessed with this cabin. From the way it looked outside to the decor inside, he thought the whole thing was cool. The teens had access to the internet and were happy with the private sitting areas outside. My husband and I enjoyed the kids being so happy to be here. My favorite part was the big bed upstairs. It was huge, my son and husband and I all slept next to each other. This bed was so comfortable, clean crisp sheets. I was out as soon as I got in. We lazed about in the morning since we didn’t have to be out until 11. My kids took the dogs for a walk and checked out the surrounding cabins. Everything here was so clean and welcoming. Our host made sure we wouldn’t get lost and was very responsive. I would love to stay here again. Great hiking. Highly recommend.

Great cabin and great stay. We loved our time in Arkansas. Josefine was very responsive and gave use some local suggestions as well. Enjoyed the view sitting by the fire!

We booked Last Buck Cabin for a siblings hiking trip. The Cabin had everything we needed and more - and was the perfect setting for our trip. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and our hosts left fresh baked cookies for us on our arrival. This was a repeat trip from a hiking trip 3 siblings and their spouses took 8 years ago, but two of us recently lost our spouses. My sister and I brought some of our husband's ashes to scatter at Lost Valley on this trip. The peaceful atmosphere at Last Buck Cabin was a perfect place to reflect and relax. Thanks to the owners and hosts for everything!

Our stay at Misty Bluff was everything we hoped for and more. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The views were absolutely breathtaking, we spent hours on both balconies, just soaking it all in. With tons of amazing hiking trails nearby, it was easy to get out and explore something new each day. We also loved how the cabin felt peaceful and secluded, even though it was conveniently close to Hwy 7. Our dog had the time of his life, sniffing around the yard, joining us on the trails, and lounging on the balcony enjoying the breeze and the view. Karla was always quick to respond and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Home was well cared for with amenities of all sorts available. The only issue we really had was every room was infested with lady bugs. We vacuumed what we could but they kept coming out. Guess they wanted to give good luck. Kids enjoyed the s’mores provided for fire pit just needed dry fire wood. They also enjoyed the “cave” in the bunk bedroom which was a closet with a vent cover they could see whom was walking up and down the stairs. Kathy had a ton of information in the home for things to do for week and very responsive to any questions. We about froze first night upstairs but she was quick to let us know to check vents in floor behind doors. Kitchen had more than normal ware to use for cooking and plenty of cleaning supplies to keep tidy. Lots of hiking and site seeing within 40 minutes of cabin. Highly recommend Jasper area as eat lunch at ozark Cafe and saw “Santa” at the court house gazebo putting up the Christmas tree Fun trip overall.

We loved our week at the cabin! It was incredibly peaceful sitting on the covered deck overlooking the magnificent view of the valley and surrounding mountains. There are tons of hiking trails with waterfalls all around. There was a book with popular hikes, restaurants, and helpful information at the house. The kitchen is well stocked and there were thoughtful touches throughout such as mints and chocolates on the bed and warm brownies upon arrival! We will definitely be coming back again!

Came to Buffalo National River area for hiking. Azelea Falls close to a lot of hiking areas. Take time to explore the falls on the property as well. Very beautiful setting at the cabin and very beautiful area around Buffalo National River.
