The cabin is powered by solar, and propane for on-demand hot water and built in stovetop and uses an efficient composting toilet.

Silver Moon is located in a wooded area close to a bog that attracts a variety of wildlife. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Try our new outdoor shower byilding. There's a composting toilet indoors which works well & smells not at all. NO INDOOR PLUMBING but we supply drinking/cooking/washing water & there is a sink that drains. If you have more people & your own camping equipment, look for our other listing.
