Perfect spot to explore Alnwick and wider Northumberland. Great to have easy parking, and the house was lovely. Jenny was also a great host and super responsive. Would definitely stay again.

I was comfortable and felt safe in Ellen's house. Easy street parking. No outside noise nice and peaceful. Everything you need in an Airbnb. Excellent communication from Ellen she couldn't do enough. I'd book again for sure.

We had the most wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Jane was a brilliant & welcoming host and we loved everything about our stay. The cottage has been so thoughtfully & beautifully put together, & I agree with a previous review that the space is even better in real life! Spotlessly clean with absolutely everything you need. The garden was a delight, we spent a long time watching all sorts of birds visit the feeder from the cosy garden room, including a very dandy woodpecker! We visited the coast on the days we visited (loved Alnmouth, Low Newton and Beadnell) and this was a great base camp to come back to. Perfect for dogs too as you can walk around the beautiful estate before heading out for the day. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks Jane!

An outstanding location with the best views. Andy and Lyd were really nice and very helpful. The apartment felt homely, comfortable and warm. Ideal to return to after a long hike. Highly recommend. We plan to return.

Hotspur is excellently located for exploring Alnwick and surrounding areas. Alnwick gardens and town centre are walkable. The house is luxurious and Alison was a great host. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Thank you so much, we will be back Maria,Sam & Teresa

An absolutely wonderful stay! The cottage was spotless, cozy, and even more charming than the photos. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a true home away from home. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommended!” The Tankerville Pub next door had excellent food. Great option, suggest booking ahead to all sit down restaurants, but plenty of local places with wonderful food. Fry-Fry in Wooler our favorite. Booked Sammy’s place originally for my parents but unfortunately due to ill-health there were unable to make the journey up from Manchester however, I was delighted when my sister said that she was available. Sammy’s place is a hidden gem. I personally live in Hexham and cannot recommend Ian & Susan’s beautiful Accommodation any stronger than this, ‘Quite simply, the best accommodation in Hexham’. The location is perfect to get around the town, especially if you have difficulty walking as it is literally situated a stones through from the high street. There is plenty to do in Hexham being spoilt for choice when it comes to local Independant shops, a theatre, cinema, multiple pubs, bars and restaurants as well as the gorgeous Sele Park and surrounding area. Sammy’s place is a great place to stay with everything you need to feel completely at home; love this place and Susan & Ian are the perfect hosts. Thank you for making my sisters visit to Hexham a memorable one, Warm Regards

Carla's house is a gorgeous house of dreams... really gorgeous especially if you like period properties like the little geeks we are. We were a little unsure of how it would be staying the the cellar of someone's house especially as we have a very vocal 18 month old but it was really private and didn't feel strange at all. Carla went the extra mile by providing a fridge full of essential food (and a little bottle of Prosecco), had a selection of toys for our little boy and had loads of great local recommendations. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

Great location, bonus of having a parking permit provided. Surprisingly quiet given the busy location. Immaculate, well designed space well equipped. Lisa & Steve are good hosts who have added lots of nice welcome touches.

Même si l'extérieur de l'appartement n'est pas très beau, l'appartement lui-même est parfait : très bien équipé, très propre, spacieux, une magnifique salle de bain avec une douche à plusieurs jets, une literie très confortable.

Linda’s place was perfect for our family of 4. Close to transport and supermarket. Linda met us in arrival and was very welcoming. The flat has everything we could need and more. Spotlessly clean and warm. Spacious rooms. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had a really great time in Debra's home. Her place is clean, comfortable, and close to the beaches, supermarkets, and restaurants. Debra is warm, welcoming, and quick to respond to texts/emails. We look forward to returning again in the Fall. Thank you so much, Debra! xx

Lovely quiet property with bonus of free parking. Spotlessly clean, cosy and fully equipped. Close to Metro station which made getting round Newcastle hassle free. Would definitely recommend. 5 stars 😊
