We loved staying at Black Cockatoo! It was a great place to getaway as it was peaceful and private. Close enough to Byron to go in for a trip but not have to deal with how busy it gets. Looking forward to staying here again!

Very cozy and private cabin in a great spot. The indoor fireplace was lovely during the cold night. They have thought of everything, and we loved the deck of cards and cute books around the Hyetta. The inside looks great, especially the bathroom. We will definitely be back to spend another few nights and to see the doggies again.

Absolutely loved Patrick’s place. Beautiful, peaceful property. We brought our dog and she loved it too. Highly recommend visiting, especially in Autumn!

We absolutely LOVED our stay. A perfect break away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the property grounds were absolutely stunning! Everything had been thought of to make our trip memorable and enjoyable! Have recommended to friends and will definitely be back Thankyou Julian and Andre!

Sally’s cottage, was without a doubt, one of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever stayed in. The photos of the rolling countryside look exactly as they do in real life and such a treat to wake up to in the morning m. The hot air balloons at sunrise were amazing. Sally also leaves out coffee, cereal, milk etc. and that’s a real plus when staying for just 2 nights. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Michael was a fabulous host - very helpful, responsive and accommodating. The location is so peaceful and the accommodation itself is well-equipped and stylish. It is off-grid but still offered little luxuries which we appreciated. I particularly liked the cookware and kitchen amenities - we cooked every night for a family of 4 and the place didn't lack anything in that regard. The bbq, woodfire hot tub and fire pit were the highlights of the accommodation. Thank you Michael - we would love to book your place again in the future!

A fabulous weekend catching up with friends. The home was sensational and set out with everything needed to enjoy a great night in and a breakfast cook up. The spa was a bonus for those of us who did a charity 30 km walk through the hills in the area. Definitely will be back.

We have stayed in quite a few AirBNB's rurally, and this one would have to be the stand-out. It was reached by driving a short distance through the most amazing forest of giant trees and ferns, then you reach the gate to the property. We were met by Will on arrival and shown to the cabin, which looked exactly as described. It is a really cute cabin which is surprisingly spacious, with a large front and back deck, and a great fire pit for sitting around watching satellites. The bathroom is really modern and large, and the bed had the best doona so was really comfortable. The location is rural as described, and the grounds are well worth having a wander around with a glass of champers. We used it as a base going to Narooma (Oyster Farmer's Daughter for lunch and cocktails), Ulladulla (fossil hunting and beach walks) and closer to the cabin (Termeil Beach was stunning but deserted). Pretty Beach also close by was stunning, and make sure you get to Singing Stones Beach.

my dog Delta and I had the best time staying at Jacaranda cabin. Fiona was most accommodating and respected our privacy through our stay. I highly recommend this stay if you are looking to escape the world and be surrounded by beautiful nature. My dog was most welcome and great to have her by my side.

A well fitted out and cosy cabin! Would absolutely stay at again. Can not fault it :)

Staying at Kevin's Place was wonderful. The views were stunning, the accommodation was spacious and very comfortable, the property was beautiful. Kevin was a delight to meet. we highly recommend this place and really look forward to coming back asap.

Robert’s rustic Bunkhouse was absolutely perfect for our peaceful, relaxing, private country stay. The Bunkhouse has a beautiful, warm and welcoming ambiance. The indoor fire had been prepared for lighting on arrival and the outdoor Firepit’s coals were glowing. The accommodation was very clean and had everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Robert is a very friendly Host and we could not recommend his private country farm accommodation highly enough. We look forward to returning again for another beautiful relaxing getaway!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful, has such a sweet harm to it and has one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in!

The perfect cabin for a weekend in beautiful Patonga. It has everything one needs and is well located. Our hosts were very accommodating.

My husband and I, together with our little dog, have just spent a lovely couple of days at The Rabbiters Hut on the banks of the Murrumbidgee river. It felt like we had stepped back in time but yet the cottage still offered modern comforts and a modern bathroom. It was extremely peaceful and the comfortable bed contributed to a great nights sleep. The cottage is full of interesting artefacts from a bygone era but without feeling cluttered. It is in a very picturesque location with a view of hills, gardens and paddocks from every window. Overall, we had a most enjoyable and relaxing stay and found the host Jo, to be very attentive to our needs.

We had a lovely stay at Jan’s cabin! The location was incredibly secluded and picturesque, offering a peaceful retreat close to nature. Jan was a fantastic host—very welcoming and attentive, even making our dog Poppy feel right at home. If you’re looking for a simple yet charming stay surrounded by nature, this cabin is a great choice. Highly recommended!

We had amazing weekend stay at Madison’s.Its a lush green farm with serene surroundings.And feeding the Alpacas stole our hearts. However there are few things which we dint appreciate as much as we would like to.First is - There was a common bbq area instead of the attached bbq area with cabin.Second is- Anne went too rude to point us for an hour delay in check out.She could have been considerate for a sick person. It looked like she does not know how to treat the guests and have no empathy.I have stayed at number of places but nobody has pointed us for an delay in check out.I don’t think i will be visiting again this place.But indeed, the place is a little piece of heaven.

Beautiful little place with styling that was on point. The privacy and sounds of nature mixed with the opportunity to relax in front of the indoor fireplace created the romance we wanted. Was raining so didn’t get to walk to grounds or have an outdoor fire. The bed was too soft for our backs, but that did not detract at all from enjoying everything else with our stay! We will be back for sure!!!!

Amanda was so thoughtful, she had fresh flowers in every room, a delicious fresh loaf of home made bread, local soaps and other products and she left useful items in the fridge such as pancake mix, milk, butter, eggs and fresh herbs from her garden. There were plenty of rugs and lots of firewood for warmth and a really comfy bed. She had a collection of small useful items including a phone charger, scissors, night lights, etc that we don't usually find in this type of accommodation. She was an excellent, thoughtful host of a wonderful, and quiet rural property. A perfect stay for a country escape.

Everything about Kristy’s place was as good if not better than we expected. From the moment that we made the reservation to the time that we checked out everything was wonderful!! The instructions for our late arrival were easy to follow and the cabin was neat, clean and exactly what we were hoping for after a long late night drive together there. I highly recommend staying at Kristy’s place and will definitely go back whenever we are driving through the area!!

Awesome place to stay, the surrounding bush was so beautiful to wake up to. Check in and out was easy. Would definitely recommend!!

Wonderful spot. Sauna, spa, ice baths all a bonus. Bright is a magical alpine town.

Stay was fantastic. Great panoramic views. So close to water, food, playground. I also left some belongings behind & Vickie was extremely proactive & helpful in sending them back for me. Could not recommend highly enough. Great all round stay & experience!
