The Lake house is exactly what our family was looking for a getaway. The house nicely decorated, impeccable clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. The property is located at a perfect spot on the water offering beautifully amazing views and peaceful atmosphere. JoAnn is a great and pleasant host to communicate with and is very responsive. The host offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, including cooking, grilling, and fun and safe water activities, and also allows flexibility with check in and check out. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Wonderful place! Thank you so much, JoAnn!

Truly a great experience. Jamie made our stay great and was extremely responsive. Had everything labeled and outlined for us. Would recommend this house to anyone. The game room was a group favorite for us. Place was so cool to hangout in. Thanks again, Jamie!

Beautiful and easy little cottage, lovely porch with wonderful big swing to nap on with the pup, luscious huge lawn to feel space and privacy, and absolutely beautiful lake view, easy rock step into shallow section to launch our floaties and Wayne’s paddle boards. Easy living with picnic table and great Weber grill, and second small fridge in the boat house. A keeper!

The house was beautiful and scenery breathtaking. We loved watching the ice fishing, skating and go carting on the lake! We even went out on the frozen lake! It was close to my daughter’s home in Voluntown…. Only 4 minutes away! The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond as we were there to celebrate my granddaughters’ first birthday! They left a gift for her and some welcome gifts for us too! Amazing!! They brought a table and chairs for extra seating!! Phil and Staci were amazing hosts and always responsive. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The location and Shana’s house were amazing! It’s even better than the pictures. Shana has created a clean ,beautiful, welcoming and cozy place that makes you feel at home! The house has everything you may need and even more. But most of all is that view of the lake through the huge windows all around the house! Thank you, Shana! Looking forward to visiting this special place again in the spring!!

We stayed here for a tattoo convention at Mohegan Sun for work and I can’t say enough good things about this house! It easily accommodated our group and was very spacious and clean. Mitchell was responsive and super easy to talk to when making arrangements! Would definitely come back to this house for future conventions or to visit the area.

Beautiful scenery looking out onto the water. Quite peaceful. Loved the garage and ease in and out. Very large and comfortable and really loved the space. Unscented bath towels and sheets.

Kevin is a great Host - very responsible and accountable. We fully enjoyed staying his place. He was always willing to help while needed. The AirBnB is clean and has full of required amenities. We left some stuffs while checking out, he communicated quickly and shipped it out very fast. I highly recommend to stay at his place at East Lyme, CT.

This was our 2nd stay at Andrea’s place. Very peaceful and convenient location for our visits to Connecticut. We come to visit family but the small river towns like Deep River offer much to do and excellent restaurants to boot. We highly recommend Andreas property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay— cozy house with everything we needed, beautiful and clean water for swimming and private location. The couch was a little uncomfortable for long sitting or napping but otherwise the house was very comfortable and generously met our group’s needs.

This was our 2nd stay at the Lake Cottage. The cottage is the perfect size, very clean and well kept. The view from inside and from the patio of the lake is stunning! Reb is the perfect host - ready with suggestions of where to eat, etc. if we didn't feel like cooking. Relaxing indoors or out was refreshing - just what we needed. We hope to make it there a 3rd time next year.

What a beautiful weekend in a beautiful, cozy space! We felt immediately at home. The view from the cottage is even more stunning than the pictures. You can tell Donna really cares about this space by all the little touches and details. It was spotlessly clean and the couch is so comfortable! We loved sitting out on the deck by the fire pit and enjoying the fall foliage. Nearby Chester, CT was a trip highlight for us as well. We’d love to make a repeat visit!

We had a wonderful time at Allison's place - the location was great and the property had fantastic amenities that made traveling as a family much easier. Allison was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay. We look forward to returning!

Very cozy, quiet stay. Backyard was refreshing by the lake w/fire. Would highly recommend for others.

Anne's place was peaceful and private. The place looked like out of a fairytale. It could use some outdoor attention but it did not take away from the place. We were looking for serene and we got it. I would recommend this place to others.

Paul was an amazing host I called him 2 times and he responded quickly .. place was amazing my kids enjoyed them selfs and we all felt like home thank u you for lending us ur beautiful home

We very much enjoyed our stay on Amston Lake! We are always looking for comfortable places for our 3 person family to stay near relatives in Colchester CT. Amos' place fit the bill! The beds were comfortable, the amenities perfectly met our needs and the home was very comfortable. My only regret is that we were out visiting most of the time and did not get to spend enough time enjoying the beautiful lake and natural surroundings! We are likely to return.
