Shelley's stunning home fit the bill for my family who was in New Haven for a family memorial service. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The space is beautifully designed and private. We had our own getaway, yet were close to the many amenities of the area. The directions were explicit, and easy to follow.

I'm a raving fan of this property and the hosts! I'd definitely stay again, not just because of the beautiful place, ample space, and amazing location, but mostly because of how communicative and accommodating Shelley was in helping us navigate some last-minute requests and support us in having the best stay possible. Five stars!

I come to New Haven a few times a year to visit my son at school. I specifically seek out Shelley's homes because they are always perfect. Her units are exceptionally clean, well decorated and comfy. I love the ways she decorates and makes her places feel like home. Beds are comfortable, water pressure is great, and off-street parking is always available. I will never stay anywhere else!

Shelley was a great host! She and her husband Colin are so nice and helped me with several things right away. I was able to receive packages there which they brought inside to my door. They responded to me immediately anytime I texted. The apartment was in a lovely home, and so beautifully decorated and clean. Kitchen had all amenities. The whole space was so comfortable and easy to live in and I felt right at home. The washer and dryer looked new and were top of the line. This is my new home away from home in New Haven. I hope to stay here again on my next visit. Thank you again Shelley and Colin! It was so nice to meet you!

The location and value cannot be beat. Walkable to the best spots in New Haven.

We loved staying in the apt. Right in the heart of Milford. We could walk to the festivals and restaurants. Apartment was spotless. Great security getting into building. Everyone was available for any assistance. They even had a number you could call after hours for assistance. This is a great place to stay in Milford Ct

This is the second time and property we’ve stayed at. Shelley and Colin’s locations are not only comfortable but they’re considerable thoughtful. I will continue to book wit them as they’ve set a consistent standers akin to being at a hotel.

Adriana and Robert were exceptional hosts and the home was beautiful and pristine. Had everything we needed and more, really enjoyed our stay.

While this home was built in the 1920s, it has been well taken care of - it’s full of modern convenience and 1920s charm throughout. We really enjoyed our stay at Seaside Retreat and would gladly visit again. It is well stocked with all the essentials you need, plus a few fun additions like the hammock and yard games. The beds are comfy, and the views of the water are so nice. The sunroom and balcony are great spots to enjoy your morning coffee, while the patio is lovely for dinner straight off the grill with your pups. We were also pleased to have a small workstation with a monitor so we could periodically get some work done during our stay. 10/10 recommend!

We stayed at this property the weekend of our daughter's wedding. Susanne was an absolute gem of a host. She checked in the day of our arrival and departure. The house was beautiful, the property and grounds are secluded, quiet and surrounded by nature. Often times a rental feels just like that, a rental. This, however, was as if we'd been invited to spend the weekend at a good friend's home. I would highly recommend this location.
