Great place with a fantastic view of the lake! I found everything to be as described with the sauna being an obvious highlight. Due to the house being located at a cul-de-sac, it feels very private (except for the odd rando intrigued by the view or the owner's sister collecting some furniture on Easter weekend). The autobahn is nearby, but its sound doesn't overwhelm that of the cow bells, so no big deal.

Top Lage mit schöner Aussicht, ruhiges Quartier, Spielplatz und Wald ganz in der Nähe, kurzer Fussmarsch zur Tramlinie direkt in die Innenstadt von Basel. Da vorher/nachher keine Vermietung war, hätten wir ganz flexibel schon am Vorabend anreisen resp. nach 11:00 Uhr auschecken können. Küche und Zimmer einfach ausgestattet, aber absolut praktikabel und für uns vollkommen ausreichend. Respektive haben wir fehlende Kochutensilien nach vorgängiger Rücksprache mit Daniel selber mitgebracht. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Wir waren 3 Paare, die mit den Rädern Basel erkunden wollten. Die Lage, ca 25 vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, war perfekt. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was wir brauchten. Wir haben auch die tolle Terrasse viel nutzen können. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet und auch wenn man tags die startenden Flugzeuge vom Euroairport hört, sind die Nächte komplett ruhig. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable chez Christian. Le chalet, doté d'une belle âme, s'est révélé être l'endroit idéal pour accueillir notre grande famille de 10 personnes. Les enfants se sont amusés à jouer ensemble dans le chalet, créant de précieux souvenirs. Nous avons également eu le plaisir de profiter pleinement du majestueux lac Noir, situé à moins de 10 minutes en voiture, un lieu qui nous est cher. Bien que l'accès en voiture pour arriver au Chalet soit un peu difficile, il mène à un endroit paisible et tranquille, offrant une vue splendide. La disponibilité et la réactivité de Christian ont été grandement appréciées, tout comme le fait que le chalet soit parfaitement équipé. Un grand MERCI.

wir haben uns sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt, Odile ist sehr herzlich und lieb, ebenso ihr Hund Mousse. Unsere Unterkunft war sehr sauber und es hat an nichts gefehlt, die Betten waren sehr bequem. Der Garten ist ein absolutes Paradies, wir genossen jede Minute. Danke Odile, dass wir in deinem wunderschönen Zuhause sein durften.

We stayed at Rachel’s for a week, location was perfect. Peaceful and very picturesque. We didn’t want to stay in the centre of town. This was a perfect location to visit places such as Grindlewald, Interlaken… we visited loads more.. the house is very clean. Beautiful home and was very nice to come back to after some long hikes.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der süssen, kleinen Wohnung. Alles vorhanden, was es braucht. Sehr zentral gelegen und doch ruhig. Auch der private Parkplatz fanden wir super. Wir würden wieder kommen und können die Wohnung empfehlen.

Gabriele wanted me to call 1 hour before arrival, I did call a couple of time, before our estimated arrival time, no answer, we had a delay due to traffic accident, so I send a new estimated GPS arrival time as a message on Airbnb app, I got answer to that message. I called again 1 hour before new estimated arrival, no answer. Luckily Gabriele livs in ground floor of her house that she rent out, so upon arrival I ringed the bell, and she came out, and we stayed in first floor, and when we wanted to get in touch with here, we could just go down and knock on her door, witch she did. If she had answer my phone call, it would felt less stressful when driving with this slow traffic. Other than that everything was just awesome, lovely place with interesting interior design.

Chaque détail est pensé avec soin, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous avons adoré l’expérience et ne manquerons pas de revenir ou de recommander ce logement à nos proches. Eines der besten Airbnb Unterkünfte seit langem – wir waren zu zweit dort für eine Woche. Geräumiger Platz, sehr schick sowie stilvoll eingerichtet, und natürlich der Whirlpool auf der sehr großen Dachterasse ist ein Highlight - oder einfach mal den Abend vor dem gemütlichen Kaminfeuer verbringen. In direkter Nähe zu Fuß ist alles vorhanden (Geschäfte, Restaurants etc.) Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

An absolutely stunning house with wonderful hosts! 🌟 Our stay here was simply fantastic – from the warm and effortless communication to the perfect location on the edge of a charming village. Right outside the door, you’ll find beautiful walking trails and open fields, while major cities like Mulhouse, Basel, Colmar, and Freiburg, as well as the Vosges mountains, are all easily accessible. The house itself is a dream – architecturally impressive yet incredibly cozy and spacious. We especially loved the generously designed kitchen, which is perfect for cooking and gathering. Families will find this place ideal: the abundance of toys, the fantastic outdoor area with a pool, and the perfectly sized whirlpool make it an absolute highlight. Everything is high-quality, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. A truly perfect stay – we would come back anytime! 😊

Wir haben unsere Ferien im stilvoll renovierten Bauernhaus sehr genossen! Die Aussicht und die Umgebung mit dem Rigibähnchen vor der Türe sind absolut traumhaft. Für unsere grössere Familie-/Feriengruppe war das gemütliche und schön eingerichtete Ferienhaus ideal. Ganz besonders schön war die Terrasse mit Abendsonne und Hotpot. Am Morgen / Mittag hatten wir Sonne auf dem anderen Sitzplatz auf der anderen Seite des Hauses. Die Gastgeberin Yvonne war sehr hilfsbereit, entgegenkommend und reagierte schnell auf Fragen und Anliegen.

Das Chalet ist sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar, Einkaufmöglichkeit in der Nähe. Leider haben wir Esther nicht persönlich getroffen, die schriftliche Kommunikation war aber sehr nett. Wir würden das Chalet jederzeit wieder buchen, sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Ferienwohnung von Lutz und Petra! Schon bei der Ankunft haben wir uns direkt willkommen gefühlt – die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war super freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung „Unter der Sonnenhalde“ liegt traumhaft ruhig am Hang mit einem herrlichen Blick ins Grüne. Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben – oder sogar noch besser! Alles war sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die helle, gemütliche Atmosphäre, die große Terrasse und die ruhige Umgebung. Die Küche hatte alles, was wir brauchten, um uns selbst zu versorgen, und das Schlafzimmer war richtig bequem. Vielen Dank an Lutz und Petra – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

This was one of our best of many Airbnb experiences! Doreen was the ideal host and her place was perfect. Super clean, beautiful view, comfortable and spacious rooms. Extras - she gave us a chocolate Easter bunny because it is Easter. Super welcoming, friendly and attentive.

A very cosy place in a cosy village just outside Zurich - ideal to explore both the city and the marvels of the mountains. Railway station is just around the corner, as is the lake with a marvelous view. The house has absolutely everything a family might need. The garden is so nice to sit out and enjoy the view to the lake.

We had the most wonderful stay in Grindelwald. Natalie went over and above to help, welcome and assist us from fetching us at the train station to providing really good advice on how to get the most out of this beautiful area (and the best pass to buy). We took her final tip on departure & thanks to her local knowledge; we enjoyed the most beautiful rail journey of our holiday. Thank you Natalie! The chalet was also perfect for our two adult, two teen family. It was exactly as described, spacious and we felt right at home. The property was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfy, the shower pressure excellent and the views breathtaking! The walk to town is very doable and it had easy access to the Terminal (albeit via a pretty steep, but short hill). We highly recommend this property.
