Space was exactly as described. Safe neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Clean. Pet friendly was very important to us and we and our dog felt right at home! We will be back to Burlington often to visit family and hope to stay at Katrina’s again.

It was great to stay at Kathy’s place! It was nice and cozy and she was so extremely kind and helpful!

The apartment is super clean and has wonderful amenities. Very comfortable, quiet, and a stone’s throw from the Amtrak train depot, parks, the post office, the movie theater, a grocery store, and downtown’s shops, coffee shops, restaurants and bars. A+++! Loved the stay. Thank you.

Jeff is just one of those “great” guys that is hard to find these days!! Excellent communication, excellent property and it’s the travel nurses dream housing assignment! Glad I was able to reserve one of his properties!!

I had such a wonderful experience! The place was exactly as described: super cozy and easy to get to. The bed was incredibly soft, making it so tempting to sleep in all day! Joy and her team were fantastic and quick to respond to my questions. I truly appreciated how clean and tidy everything was, especially the bathroom—it was huge and spotless, equipped with everything you could possibly need. I also loved the small kitchen; it was perfect for making quick meals! The convenience of having a gas station right next door was a nice touch! I also adored the breathtaking view of the bridge and the Mississippi River. The area felt safe, and the building had a lovely modern vibe. I can’t wait to return whenever I'm in Burlington, Iowa. Thank you so much for everything!

We could not have been happier with Kumar as a host, and the place had so much character! I travel into Fort Madison a few times a year and I hope this place is available on my next trip!

David was courteous and easy to work with. He communicated promptly regarding check in and check out messages and his instructions were clear and easy to follow. Overall, we had a great stay at the house. Perhaps the bathroom could have used an update, but it was nothing we couldn’t live with. The price was right, so we have no complaints. We would choose this property again if our travel plans bring us to Burlington again.

We were very comfortable. We’d stay again and recommend it to anyone.

This historic home has a dining table for 8-10, which is just what we needed for Thanksgiving in Nauvoo

We were in town to visit family and Twila and Jeff’s home felt as close to being at home as you can get. The house was clean, very well maintained, and Twila has thought of everything that someone may need. Truly one of the nicest stays overall for us. Twila and Jeff are fantastic hosts! We will rent from them again for sure.

The Grand Victorian is unique, lovely and spacious - and the perfect setting for our family gathering. Lovely to be across from a park and within view of the Mississippi. We could walk to have coffee downtown (Swed & Co), as well as to a few restaurants and a bookstore. The beds were comfortable. The train sounds didn’t bother us much. (Bring earplugs if you’re worried). One thing - if you come in at night as we did, be aware there are two sets of internal stairs - the narrow back stairs off the kitchen, which we imagine were for servants’ use - and the grand staircase toward the front of the house will be much better for carrying suitcases upstairs. This is a special place. We’d be delighted to return.

This is a great place to stay for families visiting historic Nauvoo. It is close to all the sites, and just a couple doors down from Casey's and Dollar General, which is convenient for any items you forgot to pack. The house is very old, but well maintained and the host is very responsive. It gave our family plenty of space to come home and relax. With such limited options in Nauvoo, this is a good find!

Amber was a very responsive host. Her place was extremely clean and well stocked. She had fantastic taste in decorations and furniture. We will definitely stay here the next time we’re in Burlington. Highly recommend.

We loved being able to stay in a pioneer home during our time in Nauvoo. The beds were very comfortable. There was enticing we needed available during our stay. We appreciated having access to laundry. The host was communicative and helpful. This is my second time staying at this location. We will continue to recommend it to family and friends.
