This place is heaven. The location, the house, the facilities, the caretakers, the food- everything was beyond awesome. Rahul always responded in time. The caretakers Chandan and Mohan need special mention- they provided all required help, delicious food and great hospitality. Overall this place needs to be visited again and again for its charm, Himalayan views, tranquility and hospitality. We would definitely visit the place again.

It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, the host went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and seamless. Their warmth, attentiveness, and local knowledge truly made a difference, making me feel right at home amidst the stunning Himalayan surroundings. The property itself was perfect—cozy, clean, and offering breathtaking views of the mountains. Every detail seemed thoughtfully curated to enhance the experience of being in this pristine part of the world. What truly elevated this trip, though, was the Chandrashila trek. Words cannot do justice to the beauty and serenity of that journey. nothing short of life-changing. I recently had the pleasure of staying at La riviere waterfront and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The host, Aanshu , welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like part of the family. The homestay itself is beautifully maintained, with cozy rooms, comfortable beds, and impeccable cleanliness. What truly sets this Homestay apart, however, is the amazing view of nature.The host went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, providing valuable recommendations and insights into the local culture. If you're looking for a genuine, heartfelt experience, look no further than La riviere waterfront a traditional homestay. I'll be back, and I'll be recommending this hidden gem to everyone I know!

Wonderful experience! The place is mesmerising and the sunrise with visible Himalayan range is ineffable. The hospitality is commendable, people here are amazing.

We had a great stay at Vivek’s place. as per the description this place is fully self sufficient for individuals wants to stay in off beat places. Cottage is full of state of the art amenities and you couldn’t ask for more for in a home stay. Best stay options at Kausani. Reaching to the cottage involves 300-400 meter climb so may not be suitable for elderly people knee issues.

‘We are made of stories’ glamping dome is way beyond being just a property or an AirBnB listing. It’s a lifetime experience- a lot of conscious thought and passion has been weaved into creating this. The views and divinely surrounded location - both are nothing short of magical. The glass front is surrounded by Kedarnath on the left side, followed by Badrinath as a close second and Nanda Devi to its extreme right. If you stay here and resign to truly soak in the view- you can’t ever forget it. I am so grateful for this experience, as it got me more acquainted with the sheer magnanimity of nature and towering Himalayas. The house help Ankit is really well prepared to receive the guests and takes every effort to ensure that they feel at home. If you can, please don’t waste a second more and book your travel to this unique gem.

The property is stunningly beautiful and is maintained with great attention to detail. Mr. Gorki took exceptional care of us and made us feel right at home. He provided us with all the necessary information and support about the local area. In all honesty, we didn't have to worry much about exploring the local sights because he offered us excellent guidance and assistance in every possible way. Throughout our stay, he remained in constant contact with us and provided valuable advice and information about nearby places to visit. The caretaker, Durga Didi, prepared some delectable snacks and meals for us, which we relished. Mr. Gorki was always available and willing to help us with anything we required during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with excellent accommodations, hospitality, and hosting.

I had a fantastic stay at Digvijay’s cottage. It’s in the mid of a tee estate (it’s not a massive tea estate but a small one, but peaceful.) The room is absolutely minimalist but makes you feel like home. It’s a wooden cottage and you get that old time charm. It’s a two story cottage with bedrooms upstairs and bathroom, kitchen, work desk etc. at ground floor. For food, if you are really keen on fancy food probably you can cook yourself as the place has a 2 burner gas stove or you can eat at some eatery before reaching here (No fancy restaurants around). The other option is to ask the caretaker Mr Girish to cook for you. He cooks homely meals and charges for it additionally. Beyond that, on a clear day you can catch glimpse of snow cladded Himalayas from the cabin itself. Parking is available at the property but driving down that Slope could test your driving skills thoroughly. All in all a lovely place to stay. I was there in 3 week of April 2025.
