The experience of staying at the yellow door home was amazing! I highly recommend this home to anyone considering staying in Wanaka. It has amazing views, is very private, well laid out and has everything you could ever need in a holiday home. It felt very homely, with plenty of the things you would see in your own home which made you feel relaxed from the moment you walked in. I highly recommend making use of the spa at dusk, as the sun goes down and the stars come out, it is beautiful. We really loved our stay at this home and would gladly book it again when we visit Wanaka.

We had a great stay at this wonderful spot! My wife, 11-month old, and I stayed for 4 nights. Cozy, clean, peaceful. Randall and Amanda were welcoming and extremely helpful. Loved the fresh bread, eggs, & jam and the apples and almonds straight off the trees! We were happy to support and experience this sustainable, off-grid farm. Would definitely stay again if we end up back in the area. =)

great home base for exploring Mt Cook. Tania's place had everything we needed. the grill was super convenient. the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too flat for us and the bed sheets were noisy. Tania was a great host and very responsive/accommodating. we would definitely stay here again.

The chalet is well located, it's a quiet and peaceful place. It's about 10 minutes walk from the Wanaka tree and about 25 minutes walk from downtown. The hosts have been responsive and attentive to our needs. We had a lovely time. Thank you so much.

We found Steve an incredibly kind and helpful host! He was always responsive when we needed help and the place was exactly what we needed it to be for a gorgeous weekend away for a wedding!

Great place to stay with kids!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Debra's place in Wanaka! The house has a perfect layout for a family and is such a lovely spot for creating special memories. The kids loved the big selection of Lego, books, and games, and we really appreciated having a playground and park just around the corner. It’s also an easy, quick walk into town. A really comfortable, well-equipped home—we’d happily stay again!

A true bed and breakfast in a sea of stale air bnbs! Sharon met me upon arrival and showed me to my private abode in the center of a working cherry (and other things!) farm. The fridge was stocked with eggs, milk, butter and bread, and there was a nespresso machine + a selection of teas. She also gave me a book of local wineries and their backgrounds which I greatly appreciated and used throughout my stay. Would stay here again if I’m ever back in the area!

Daisy was great! the place was VERY spacious and she gave me some great advice about some local hikes. I was actually bummed I didn't book another day while in Wanaka! When I mentioned that to Daisy, she even offered me another day but I had to run to another destination. the place itself was great and in a chill neighbourhood. loved it!

Such a beautiful home, you can definitely see how a real family in NZ upbringing close to nature, plenty of memories. Such a warm and sweet family. The fireplace and stag head definitely adds a lot of character to home. The rain shower felt amazing, and the bath tub with view definitely melts away your sore body and feet after a long hike. The view of the mountain really breathtaking. The kitchen is very well equipped and the fridge is big enough for a family. We stay for 3 nights and really enjoyed that we took a day off just to stay home and just chilling. At night with clear sky you get to see the Milky Way, shooting stars and even aurora! Definitely one of our unforgettable highlight in NZ trip!

Will be happy to stay again when visiting Wanaka

We had a great stay at Frog Lodge - it was wonderful to be able to stay at such a lovely home that also welcomed our dogs. The fenced yard was perfect for them and we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the afternoon sun. We had such great communication from Jan in the lead up that we had no questions or concerns and everything went smoothly. We would love to stay again next time we are in the area and would 100% recommend a stay in Autumn, such a beautiful time of year in the area.

The house is in a really nice spot with a beautiful view. Lots of interesting items in the house and access to a pool and spa just down the road. Lucinda was easy to communicate with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks

We had a wonderful stay at Sophia’s over Easter. Our 18 month old son loved the trampoline and having so much space. We loved the views and everything was only a short drive away.

Great location with tracks to the river and mount iron nearby. The community pool and gym are a great facility to have access to as well. House was very clean also

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The kids played endlessly in the back yard and pool as well as at the park across the street. We enjoyed playing pool in the game room and walking to the nearby beach and trails. The house is not in the best of maintenance (worn out carpet, door knows that don’t quite work, etc), but these were not show stoppers for us. No regrets for picking this place, if you have a big group and are looking for a great location, some extra space, and a cabin-like feel, this fits the bill.

숙소가 정말 흠잡을 데 없이 깔끔했고 넓었고 사진보다 훨씬 훨씬 예쁘고 좋아서 놀랐습니다!! 바람이 많이 불어서 BBQ를 못한것만 아쉬웠네요 집을 못찾아서 기웃대고 있었는데 Jay가 바로 나오셔서 짐도 들어주시고 맛집추천도 해주셨습니다! 덕분에 정말 맛있는 저녁을 먹었어요 하루만 묵은게 정말 아쉬웠습니다! 다음에 기회가 된다면 꼭 또 방문할거에요!
