What an amazing spot! We loved our 10 day stay at Sandra’s place. Even when ex tropical cyclone came through, our hosts made sure we were safe and comfortable and had everything we needed. You could not be closer to the beach, and the Horseshoe Bay meant that even in the storm, there was always a safe place to swim and surf - there were plenty of waves on offer for all abilities. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and wifi worked well. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely incredible house and host! It was the perfect home-base to show my fiancé around my hometown. The home is beautiful and spacious. Would recommend to anyone wanting to see the area or looking for a get away.

A lovely well appointed house with beautiful views. Walking distance from the shop, cafe and Irish Pub. The only heating in the house is the wood burner fire, which we enjoyed as the evenings turned chilly. We could have done with more than one towel per person for 4 days as there was no efficient way to dry anything other than hanging outside, which doesn’t work if it’s pouring with rain, which it did. The laundromat nearby was a good 20 minute drive away, which isn’t really nearby at all. Value for money wise, we thought it was very expensive for the facilites provided.

We had a great time with 3 couples. Lots of room and a bathroom each. The weather was a bit dicey on the day we were supposed to check in, it was no trouble to arrive a day early to beat the rough seas. This home is best accessed with a boat (although you can walk to it at half to low tide) and has a great jetty and additional mooring. Good proximity to Port Fitzroy with food and fuel available, although 91 was $4/ litre. Thanks for letting us stay Rod, you have a beautiful spot in paradise!!
