If you are looking for a peace of mind and want take a break from city life this a recommend place to look for. Affordable, well maintained and warm approach by the host give a home like vibe to this place. 5 stars, highly recommended.

We can only give 5 stars on every count - I wish we could give more. Binduraj is a kind, thoughtful and interesting soul and his hospitality was boundless! He showed us round the stunning island, delivered us the most delicious food, and allowed us to check in SO early (even coming to pick us up in his boat at 6am). This was easily one of the best Air BnB experiences I’ve had - the village was amazing, the backwaters beautiful. We even ventured out in his kayak! Could not recommend more.

We zijn op reis met ons gezin van 2 kinderen door India. Zodoende hebben we hier 5 nachten verbleven. Het verblijf was ver boven onze verwachting. De foto's en beschrijving doen de accommodatie eigenlijk tekort. Het huis is prachtig, super schoon, erg grote kamers. Je blijft maar kijken naar de details van het houtwerk. Maar het aller leukste was de gastvrijheid. De enorm vriendelijke staf die aanwezig was. We zijn uitgenodigd voor het avond eten en alles werd geregeld. De kinderen voelde zich enorm thuis. Dit is iets wat je niet vaak meemaakt op reis, het verblijf en de lieve mensen hebben een plek in ons hart. Ook bij de kinderen heeft deze accommodatie diepe indruk gemaakt en ze missen het enorm.

I had a wonderful stay at Griffith's house! The room was peaceful, neat, and impeccably clean, making for a very comfortable experience. The host and his family were incredibly humble, warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. He was kind enough to drop me at my office the next morning, which was a thoughtful gesture. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast they served. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a homely and comfortable stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a homestay during my visit to a Munroe Island. I must say, the experience was truly remarkable. The owner, Devika, was extremely supportive and helpful throughout our stay. The homestay was cozy and comfortable, offering all the necessary amenities one could ask for. The authentic food served was simply delicious and made our stay even more memorable. Devika went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She was always available to assist us with anything we needed. Overall, I highly recommend this homestay to anyone planning a visit to this scenic tourist destination. The warm hospitality, comfortable accommodation, and delicious food provided by Devika made our trip truly unforgettable. I am looking forward to my next visit!

A truly beautiful place to stay—I had a magical experience here. The host and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The view from the room to the sea was incredible!!! It was peaceful and scenic . They went above and beyond to help us navigate Varkala, from arranging scooty rentals to recommending great spots for buying souvenirs. Highly recommend this place for a memorable and comfortable stay!

The yoga classes are deeply moving, and the surrounding nature allows for a profound connection. If you're looking to experience the authentic, non-touristic side of India, this is the perfect place to stay. Nestled right by the backwaters, you can enjoy a refreshing swim, and just a minute’s walk across the road brings you to the sea. Ajith a été très aimable et disponible. Elle a cuisiné pour nous les soir des bon petits plats sur mesure. Les activités proposées dans la région sont un peu limitées mais ça vaut le détour

We spent three nights at Anita’s and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We were shown to our room, which was a non-AC accommodation. However, its location ensured that it never became too hot. Anita’s is just a two-minute walk from the coastal area of Varkala and about a 10- to 15-minute walk to the town centre. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, as well as numerous yoga classes suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to those with more experience. Breakfast is available, and laundry services can be arranged for a fee.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful oasis of peace and tranquility! Sharma had created such a special place here, and the staff, service and home cooked food were all exceptional. We extended our stay here and were so glad we did. The beauty of nature, smiling faces, delicious Indian breakfasts and dinners all combined to soothe and refresh our bodies and souls after weeks on the road. The location is excellent- very close to a beautiful beach and across the road from a good cafe and Ayurveda clinic where we got some great massages. Sid and Pramod were a great help- very chilled, friendly, great communicators and very helpful. Couldn’t recommend this stay highly enough!

My stay here was exactly what I needed to settle me into India as a first timer. I am truly grateful for everyone who works there and are very accommodating. Their kindness is beyond measure and my heart was very happy staying here, I would most definitely return and stay again. Thank you so much, I will miss it ❤️

This place actually exceeded our expectations, it was flanked by a pristine lake and beach on the other side. The room however was the highlight of the place, my friends wanted to know where this place was after looking at my status. Its a wooden clad cottage with a rustic feel to it , ,the bathroom was sectional and was something that i’ve never seen before, amazing. If hot water was provided it would have been great.
