Home was very spacious with large rooms. Quick drive to New Bern. Space was as described. In the area for daughter’s wedding - great space for her to get ready, including a large space in primary bathroom for hair and makeup - it was perfect. Smoke detector went off at 1 AM on our last night which wasn’t fun and a couple of live roaches. The shared backyard can be a little awkward as tenant over garage was burning items in the outside fireplace, so we didn’t sit outside. Great parking under car port with extra spaces for visitors. Overall, great stay and if I need such a large space in the future, I would stay again.

This is a great place to stay and relax. Tim was very responsive and proactive. We were checking in the day after a bad snow storm and he contacted us right away to let us know how the roads were and what to expect. Since it was snowy and cold, we did not get to use the amenities. But the house is located right next to the kayak launch area and it was a very short drive to the pool/club house. We come to this area often and will definitely be staying here again!

We had a great stay at Mel’s place-we t down to Morehead city for a fishing trip and this house was perfect for our group. Would definitely stay here again.

We are very glad to have stayed at Donna and Barry's place while visiting Swansboro. Their cottage was very clean and has a great layout and design. It is cute and cozy, equipped for cooking, furnished for comfort, and in an expansive setting for relaxing. The front porch and big open lawn surrounded by tall pine trees was a pleasure to breath in every morning. Our hosts are friendly and generous, and Andy the dog is a joy. We had a fun time exploring the area and fishing the water channels, including Bogue Banks and the Neuse River, and even New Bern.

This place was beautiful and the area was so quite and nice. We all slept so well and really enjoyed our stay. Johanna responded and accommodate greatly. Will stay here again.

Great place for a long weekend. Outside of town, but close enough to everything. Super clean, well decorated, and the hot tub was perfect. Drew even had some great local restaurant recommendations. Thanks Drew!

Loved the house on the water. Waking up and walking out and watching the sunrise was awesome. The sunset was just as nice but a little obstructed by trees. The house was fantastic. 3 beds and two full bath made it very easy for us to stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed to cook anything at home! Pet friendly and my dogs loved the covered porch looking over the water! Ac and heat worked great and was very comfortable. I would go back.

This place is absolutely INCREDIBLE! Nice atmosphere, very private, very CLEAN, and an AMAZING hostess. I would most definitely recommend this place! ❤️

Randy's place will be the first place I look for on my return. He was friendly and very helpful to me finding things to do and see. His place was clean, and most of all very cozy. It was private with a small porch to sit and have morning coffee outside. Only a 2 mile drive to the ocean beach was a plus. Convenience grocery store right across the street. Awesome place.

I had a really good time staying here! Beautiful area and really peaceful. The hosts were super helpful and really nice people! The outside shower and provided kayaks are a great feature I would definitely stay here again.

Renee’s place is lovely and perfect for anyone wanting a pleasant place to relax. It is completely private in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for a getaway to beautiful Harkers Island.

Sarah was a great host and my wife and I enjoyed ourselves. If we get back to this area again, we wouldn't mind staying again at her facility.

Fantastic stay! Fantastic, relaxing setting.... we loved the view of the water. There were some cute Easter decorations inside. The two dogs that live there are amazing! We missed our dogs so much and loved that theirs came to visit! Perfect stay for our family!

Teresa was a great host! She was kind and thoughtful, even made us muffins to welcome us. She was attentive and always available if we needed something. She even went out of her way to recommend exclusive adventures during our stay. I will definitely book with her again!

If your a fan of raw wood timbers, a 37 point buck keeping guard in the living room (i kid not, count them) and a crystal clear view of the night sky by way of the trail in the back, then this is the place for you.

The Lakes RV & Campground is a very nice place to stay. We stayed in a “tiny house” along a lake that is brand new. They had all amenities including dishware, towels, blankets, screened in porch, grill for charcoal, etc. and a really nice pool on the property! Michael was a great “Host” and was readily available to assist us with our needs. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this place to all!

Great tiny cabin! Everything you need and nothing that you don’t if you want a peaceful stay in the woods.

Heidi greeted us on arrival and gave us a private tour of the air bnb. Heidi even allowed us to walk the property and interact with her chickens. This was a very quiet and peaceful stay. Gorgeous home with up to date decor!

All around just a great place to get away & unwind or stay for a treat while traveling for work. For whatever reason you decide to stay, it will definitely be worth every penny.

This place was beyond amazing! It was a great place to stop and sleep for the night while travelling. So peaceful & private! There was a rainstorm at night, and the sound of the rain on the roof as I slept was incredible. A nature lover’s paradise with everything you need!

For anyone looking for a Clean, Great place to stay with a A class host this is definitely where you want to be! Cabin was Spotless and felt like home! I’m in town for work and had the weekend off and decided to stay here and I do not regret it a bit!

Beautiful location with great views! The cabin fit myself, my husband, and our daughter comfortably and was stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, and other basics such as sheets and towels. There was no oven but there was a toaster, stovetop, microwave, and single-cup coffeemaker which worked out great for cooking meals at the cabin. The screened-in porch was perfect for having a cup of coffee in the morning and meals throughout the day. We enjoyed the walking trail and hanging out at the dock. We saw cool wildlife such as herons, frogs, and turtles. The cabins have a great location onsite, and they include a decent amount of space outside around the cabin. We enjoyed chatting with our neighbors in the cabin next door. The manager, Michael, was incredibly responsive and helpful. He responded immediately when we reached out, literally within seconds! He was also flexible with early check-in and late check-out. All in all, this was a great place and I'd highly recommend it!
