Downtown Monte Vista Hideaway

Our little piece of old historic Monte Vista sits almost in the center of town. Built in 1886, it has thick walls that surround you in hushed silence. Quaint, 2 bedrooms separated by a solid wood French barn door, 1-1/2 bathrooms, 1,000 sq ft. Full kitchen: glass top stove, microwave, large fridge under cabinet, dishwasher, and everything you need. Washer & Dryer in the laundry room, just off the kitchen. Private front door parking. Keypad entry on both front and back doors.

Private Crestone Hideaway, Great Views

Entire second floor of a Carriage House with spectacular mountain and valley views. No other tenants/guests in this building. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, this Rocky Mountain carriage house with European flair is perfect for vacation, remote work or retreat. Five minutes from retreat centers. This apartment is not suitable for more than 2 people. Pets permitted ONLY on a case-by-case basis, with prior permission and a pet fee.

Delightful Open - Plan Penthouse

We have one Penthouse covering the 2nd story, up a flight of stairs, nestled in the trees, with a small verandah to hang out on, right off the park. Great for romantic getaways, family's and groups of four! My place is close to Moffat - which is equal distance between Alamosa and Salida. It is the launch pad to the fun things to do out here in the middle of no-where. You’ll love my place because of the views, the location, the people, the ambiance, and the outdoors space.

Newly built (2023) carriage house is ready to wow visitors. Well considered and carefully constructed as a deluxe guest retreat, you'll find plenty of space for up to 6 people to stretch out in with two queen bedrooms and a couch bed in the main living space (includes TV in each), a large modern full bathroom (with tub) and a generous common living area with brand new furniture, dining area, and an open kitchen. All opens up to the generous wrap around elevated deck.

This is a beautiful garden level apartment is in a custom home in a quiet part of town. You'll enjoy views of the mountains from the living room and the courtyard. You will be within walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores with organic food. This is a great place to relax, meditate and write or a place to launch yourself out for a hike, an exploration of the local spiritual centers, or a walk along one of the nearby creeks or enjoy the Dark Sky.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Easy travel to the Great Sand Dunes, hot spring pools, hiking, off roading, skiing and hunting. Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge within 8 miles. Off street parking allows room for recreational vehicle parking as well. This cozy apartment of 500 sq ft is perfect for 2, but can accommodate 4 with the queen bedroom and the futon which makes into a queen size bed. Monte Vista is a small rural town.
