Michael’s place had several areas for us to hang out in, the house was SUPER clean, his instructions were super clear and concise, he was very responsive, and the overall cost was not bad at all. :)!

We loved our stay at The Sanctuary! The house and surrounding area is beautiful. It was a quick drive to Nashville, Indiana. The kitchen was well-stocked and the house was roomy and comfortable. Perfect for a family!

had a pleasant stay at Nicolas’s basement studio. The space was impressively clean and well-maintained, which immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. Nicolas clearly takes pride in keeping the studio in great condition—everything from the floors to the bathroom felt freshly cleaned and tidy. The studio itself is well-organized and has all the basics you need for a short stay. The furniture was comfortable, and the bed provided a good night’s rest. I also appreciated the quiet and privacy that came with being in a basement space—it felt like a peaceful retreat. That said, one thing to be aware of is that the studio is a bit dim. As it’s located in a basement, there’s limited natural light, which made it feel a little enclosed during the day. Adding more lighting or finding a way to increase natural light would definitely improve the overall atmosphere. Still, if you’re looking for a clean, cozy, and quiet place to stay, this studio is a solid option.

Our family had a great few days away here! The house & surroundings were very peaceful & relaxing.

Austin was a great host and super accommodating. This was our second stay at the house and it has worked out perfectly for us. We would absolutely stay there again.

Had a fun weekend here with friends. The location is close enough to gas stations and other places to quickly grab whatever you might need, but still feels remote. Lots of space on the property but unfortunately due to heavy rain we couldn't use it to its full potential. Would recommend if you're looking to enjoy nature while still being close to Bloomington (about 15 minutes from campus.)

Great visit for a family get away!

Overall it was great place and served its purpose … Great gathering space but for 8 people to hang out in the common area it could use more seating. I would recommend this over separate hotel rooms for a group traveling together !

I had been looking for a getaway for quite a while and this is just what I needed. quiet peaceful and close to a lot of beautiful Woods and areas to shop at. all my questions were answered and I had relaxed beautiful time

Beautiful, about 30 minutes away from Nashville. Hilly narrow roads. Weather didn’t work out for us, but we still enjoyed our stay.

We loved the yard. The tree in the backyard had beautiful blossoms and there were flowers blooming all over the yard. It was so peaceful and quiet, yet close to the campus and downtown. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of towels. Our host was so kind and immediately responded to our requests. We truly enjoyed our stay!

My husband stayed at this beautiful place (I unfortunately had to stay home with sick kiddos), and he said it was cozy, comfortable, and a great place to stay in town. He definitely wants to come back with me, and maybe even the kids, to stay here so I can experience it too! Jill was very accommodating, responsive, and helpful with our changing plans; a fantastic host! We can’t wait to come back!

Kim’s Cosmic Cottage was exactly as expected and very cozy and comfortable. I will return. I arrived unexpectedly sick with a severe sinus infect. and wanted nothing to do but rest. CC felt like home and that’s exactly what you need when you’re sick. And to be able to get that feeling while traveling was so nice and definitely helpful in my recovery. Kim responded quickly to my question regarding an urgent care that was near. Only 3 min. away. She offered assist. if I needed it and….let me have a late check out due to my weakened condition. She reached out quickly after booking and asked what type of snacks I would like and I will say, the basket was basically empty by the time I left. I enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evening. Both the front and back porch are very welcoming and provide a place to sit, relax and enjoy the view. Lots of cozy blankets, pillows inside to cuddle up. Decor is cute and I love the nostalgia feel I get of my childhood. And a “Bedford Stone” home

Had a very nice stay here for a getaway weekend. Brought our dog (first time traveling with him) and the space was great for us. Peaceful setting but just a quick drive to the main downtown and campus areas of Bloomington. The chickens were cool! Jennifer, the hostess and Gary, the maintenance man were both super friendly and helpful. They are both there in different areas of the building but were not intrusive at all. The house is eclectically furnished but very comfortable. The screened back porch was nice for sitting and relaxing, although the weather was too chilly to be out there a whole lot. It is an old building, a former schoolhouse, so expect some old house personality. Quiet and cozy, and dog friendly. Just what we were looking for. Thanks Jennifer and Gary!

Had a really great weekend trip here with my dad. I wouldn’t call it “glamping” as it is very remote and not exactly luxurious as the term suggests. The privies are pretty much unusable, but they have a great shower/bathroom trailer nearby. Unfortunately, the AC was broken when we went, so it was extremely hot inside. If you’re not used to camping and being in the middle of nowhere, I’d choose a different place. There was also a wedding during our stay, which made it a bit uncomfortable to use the bathroom as it was right next to the wedding barn and pretty loud throughout the night. Would’ve been nice if we could have been told about this beforehand. Otherwise, we loved it here. Nice to see all the animals as well.

Although we went on a stormy weekend, Lindsay’s place was a wonderful place to retreat. Her attention to details, decorating eye, and extra thoughtful touches will have us coming back!

I was in town with my daughter and best friend for the eras tour. We wanted to book outside of the city so we could come back to quiet and have a relaxing place to just enjoy our weekend getaway. Curt’s place was the perfect spot for this.

We are home flippers and woodcrafters. The wood construction was phenomenal. The attention to detail was amazing. We had a small problem and heard from the owner immediately. Thank you
